This 7" pairs two immersive collaborations from Ghanaian producer Delasi and Tokyo-based experimental pop outfit TAMTAM. On the A-side, "Guardian of The Green" unfolds as a lush blend of alternative soul, downtempo electronica, trip-hop, and cinematic post-rock, balancing futuristic textures with organic instrumentation. The B-side, "Celestial Bodies," drifts through dream pop, ambient electronica, and jazz-inflected soul, with hypnotic rhythms, shimmering synths, expressive guitars, and warm lo-fi grooves offering a more celestial, dreamlike companion to the A-side.

Originally released in 2000, Iron is one of the most playful and distinctive albums in the COH catalogue. Ivan Pavlov channels a lifelong fascination with 1980s heavy metal, not by imitating it's riffs or volume, but by distilling what he describes as it's defining sonic character. Pavlov states, "The album was inspired by my teenage passion for the 80's heavy metal, and I think on IRON I wanted to focus on a specific frequency range common to the genre, the mid-range distortion grain."

What keeps you alive? Your will? Your conscious mind? Your choice to remain open, alert, present? Or is it something just beyond your grasp: an obscure automatic process, quietly carrying you forward until it doesn't?These are the questions that haunt Wellness Plan, the second full-length album by Genital Shame, the solo project of musician Erin Dawson. Her music exists in a dissociative fog where terror, resignation, and determination become nearly impossible to separate. On Wellness Plan, Dawson widens that world, folding black metal and noise together with fragile moments of stillness.Dawson's approach is informed by a background in music education and classical guitar, which she brings to her own strange iteration of experimental music rooted in black metal. Wellness Plan is harmonically dense, with riffs and melodies folding into one another in unexpected ways. It draws from a tradition of weirdo black metal that treats the genre less as a fixed language than as something to pull apart, distort, and reassemble. While making Wellness Plan, Dawson encountered old microscopic footage of white blood cells searching for viruses. "I love the idea that even if you struggle with and mask a deep self-hate, there's something microscopic inside you voting for your continued, healthy existence-even if you feel like you don't deserve it," she says. "It's also about the idea that as beautiful as that image is, it's still not quite enough."Dawson describes Wellness Plan as "a process of acceptance through images of disappearing." The contradiction between the desire to disappear and the body's impulse to survive runs throughout the record, returning to the question of how much control we have over our own survival. The tenth album of Clinic's career, Wild In The Streets, takes the current temperature of the UK in their own inimitable style. These dozen songs are marked by urgency, surreal wordplay and trademark wit. For a band determined to chart their own course ("We've always run in the opposite direction to what's happening," asserts Ade Blackburn. "So if anything gets too close to sounding like something else, then we'll take a different route"), Clinic continue to push forward in new and unexpected ways.Nearly 30 years since they first founded Clinic as a quartet, key members Blackburn and Jonathan Hartley's chemistry remains as potent as it ever was, perhaps even more so. "We've known each other since school," says Blackburn. "Hartley was always interested in electronics and drum machines, even as a teenager. He's into rhythms, whether it's reggae and funk or more conventional guitar music, whereas I was always into songs and melodies. I think that's why Clinic works so well." Wild In The Streets is now set to take it's place beside past triumphs like 2000's Internal Wrangler, 2006's Visitations and 2012's Free Reign. "We've always had this absolute faith in what we do," Blackburn adds. "It's relatively outsider-ish music, but that's something that's motivated us to keep going, because it's good to have things that are a little out on the fringes. There's just not enough of that kind of music these days."

Shika Shika presents the fifth volume in their Guide to the Birdsong series, this time taking the song of endangered birds to the dancefloor. This new chapter of the long-running project that works with renowned artists and producers to turn endangered birdsong into music. This time, tracks from previous Birdsong albums are reimagined by a global line-up of forward-thinking electronic artists, including Auntie Flo, Photay, Matias Aguayo, Yosi Horikawa, Tayhana and El Búho, transforming the calls, rhythms and atmospheres of threatened bird species into a new remix album. The idea is simple and unique: take music made from and inspired by the songs of endangered birds, and invite some of the most distinctive voices in contemporary electronic music to reinterpret it. The result is a record that moves between experimental club music, organic electronica, Latin American underground sounds, downtempo, field-recording-led production and global dance music, all rooted in the natural world.

Mogwai's groundbreaking debut album 'Young Team', originally released in October 2007 is to be reissued in February 2023, remastered and refreshed on coloured vinyl, CD and digital. Housed in a gatefold sleeve with original artwork, the red vinyl will come with a digital download code. The original recording engineer for the album, Paul Savage, whose production credits include Franz Ferdinand and The Twilight Sad, has remastered the album for this special reissue. After a brace of critically acclaimed singles and a host of incendiary live shows, there was a palpable sense of anticipation over the release of Mogwai's debut long player. Arriving 25 years ago, little has happened since to diminish it's impact: stylistically at odds with what was rapidly becoming the fag-end of Britpop, 'Young Team' was an obstreperous exercise in dynamics and fury - the unapologetically avant-garde nestled alongside tracks of poignant, delicate beauty.

The Oak Ridge Boys are paying tribute to their favorite songs without losing sight of their gospel roots in a stunning and inspiring new album, Buried Treasures.
Produced by Anderson East and executive produced by Dave Cobb, Buried Treasures gathers together classic songs made popular by seminal voices such as Louis Armstrong and Nat King Cole, as well as essential songs written by Billy Joe Shaver, Paul Simon, and Bill Withers. The vocal group’s spiritual side shines through on recordings of “Deep River,” “How Great Thou Art,” and “Softly and Tenderly,” yet there’s also a hint of romance in the enduring ballad, “You Are So Beautiful.” The album’s only new song, “Buried Treasure,” was written specifically for the project by Academy Award-winning songwriter Aaron Raitiere.
“Every song on the album is about something that’s dear to us,” Oaks member Duane Allen says.

Piss is a noisy, genre-bending four-piece band from Vancouver, B.C. Combining punk, poetry, sound collage, performance art, and visual art, the band creates a multidisciplinary body of work that blurs the line between personal and political. Powered by thoughtful musicianship, energetic live performances, and a crystal-clear artistic mission, Piss writes punk music that aims to transcend the limitations of a well-established genre. Their work draws inspiration from a range of unexpected influences: literary giants, philosophers, filmmakers, painters, psychoanalysts, activists, children, members of a German anarcho-feminist militant group, and conversations with audience members. These voices represent varying ideological beliefs about gender-based violence and enable Piss to create art that depicts challenging and controversial issues such as sexual violence and enculturated gender norms without reduction, romanticization, polemics, or dogmatism.you made me / skin on linen is the band's debut full-length. It depicts a childhood shaped by structural, systemic, and intimate violence. Throughout the record, art-making motifs serve as metaphors for the myriad ways we carry the effects of this violence: each experience leaves an impression, gradually creating or deforming the self, much like a piece of clay moulded by every mark it receives.

The original motion picture soundtrack for Tim Kasher's (Cursive, The Good Life) new directorial effort Who's Watching-set to arrive in select theaters and on digital platforms on September 18, 2026, via Dark Sky Films-will be released on October 30, 2026, via 15 Passenger Records. The 13-song collection is split into a side A that contains songs by Toxic Cock Syndrome and a side B that holds the score, as well as a new Cursive song, "Wounded Animal." Just WHO is Toxic Cock Syndrome? A metal "band" featured prominently throughout the film: Caleb Sampson (played by Zachary Ray Sherman) on bass, Chris (played by Radkey's Darrion Lewis) on guitar/vocals, and Tony (played by Radkey's Isaiah Radke) on drums. Their intentionally odd, aggressive, and immature songs serve as a window into the disturbed protagonist of the film-a darkly humorous and unsettling psychological horror thriller about the male gaze that subverts both stalker and found footage tropes. In reality, Toxic Cock Syndrome's songs were performed by: Kasher (guitar/backing vocals), Radke (vocals), Lewis (guitar), Jonah Ray (drums), and Josh Ethier (bass). The five instrumentals of the score, meanwhile, are eerie, evocative, and at times even strangely beautiful. It all culminates with "Wounded Animal, " Cursive's first new music since their 2024 album Devourer (Run For Cover Records); taut and simmering, the song plays over the film's closing credits, slowly intensifying into a cathartic, soaring conclusion.'Who's Watching, ' written and directed by Tim Kasher, tells the story of an eccentric loner obsessed with making a film about his unwitting coworker, secretly recording every aspect of her life until the project spirals into something far more dangerous than he anticipated.

24 years after it's initial release, Mogwai's iconic second album 'Come On Die Young' is to be reissued on coloured vinyl. Presented in a gatefold sleeve with original artwork, the white vinyl will come with a digital download code. Arriving in March 1999 with an album cover that referenced The Exorcist and a title scalped from a well-known Glasgow gang slogan, you'd have expected Mogwai's 'Come On Die Young' to be an apocalypse-harbouring, pre-millennial assault on the senses. Instead, we were treated to a darkly elegiac - surprisingly restrained - response to the aural fireworks of their 'Young Team' debut from two years earlier.

Briar is the new expression on the ever-curious path of Daniel Romano. Briar is an act of sacred imagination and symbol of duality. It is cosmic and immediate. It is the Mother Tree that brings forth the soul and protects it in a cover of thorns. The soul's journey is to collapse this duality through polarity inversion into a higher harmonic state. The Briar is the guardian of sacred knowledge, that is not amassed as "information" but is eternal and waiting to be remembered. In song.Beautifully sung and played entirely on acoustic instruments, Briar furthers the psychedelic folk journeys that have run parallel to Daniel Romano's street level rock and roll work with the powerful and beloved Outfit. Beyond the classic Finally Free, beyond Visions of the Higher Dream, beyond Dandelion - something new and ancient. Devoted and yearning, deeply human and embodied, Briar was recorded on an eight track cassette machine with a Royer 121 and a Sennheiser 409. It was mixed down to a two track Marantz cassette machine by Daniel Romano. It was mastered by Kristian Montano.Briar is offered as testament to the deeply sacred qualities of music. It was wholly conjured through "instant intuition" and silent listening. No thoughts, no questions, just flowing with the breath of the cosmic-lost between the air and sky-but I'm gonna fly. Serious, like singing, curious of our next beginning. It is imperfect and asymmetrical (as the universe). The Briar reminds us that polarities are not opposites, they are a unified field, and with coherence and balance we can radically transform. We can move from separation to union; from ego to soul; from dogma to Gnosis; and embrace our inherent interconnectedness.Per aspera ad astra. (Through hardship to the stars)

"A band like no other - blending sludge, doom, prog and noise to create a spectacularly brutal sound." - EVERY ALBUM EVERFormed in Tokyo in 1987, ZENI GEVA reached a turning point on 1991's "Total Castration", the first album recorded and engineered by their lifelong friend and collaborator Steve Albini. Never before available on vinyl and extensively restored and remastered, "Total Castration" is where one of rock music's most ferocious and uncompromising partnerships began - a landmark in heavy music laid to analog tape.Pressed on "24Hz GOLD" Colored Vinyl and comes complete with a double-sided, collectible Footlong OBI.Zeni Geva toured the world, released numerous albums, and were and are a formidable force in the noise, punk, metal, and experimental scenes. To say they are the missing link between all those genres and their respective bands and fans is an understatement. - BANDCAMP DAILYK.K. Null is a living legend and ZENI GEVA is Null's answer to grindcore and the eternally heavy. - PITCHFORKZeni Geva extrudes venomous thrash with a death metal sensibility and the kick-pedal frequency of hardcore industrialism. "Total Castration" is a groaning mass of gory riff decimation - TROUSER PRESS"Calling Zeni Geva noise rock is accurate enough to be useful and insufficient enough to be frustrating. They've spent decades doing something that most heavy music never quite manages: making noise feel genuinely dangerous. Zeni Geva have been doing this since before the internet existed to explain or categorize them, and the music has that quality of things that were never made to be consumed quickly. It was built to last precisely because it was built without compromise. Thirty-plus years in, the catalog doesn't feel dated. It feels like evidence." - METAL JAPAN

Within the broad church of metal and it's many offshoots - rock, doom, stoner and all the rest - it remains a minor thrill to stumble across a group who seem to exist at a slight tangent to everything else. Crumbling Ghost is one such anomaly. Crumbling Ghost are not newcomers. They've been operating for some time, releasing records sporadically, Four' is in fact their fourth release. Along the way they've accumulated a fervent coterie of followers, not to mention the occasional nod of approval from tastemakers such as Stuart Maconie, Stewart Lee and Tom Ravenscroft. And though they've appeared at Roadburn, shared stages with Hawkwind and even Damo Suzuki, they remain (possibly by design) curiously under the radar. The group's core idea is deceptively simple: traditional folk material refracted through the haze and heft of heavy, fuzzy stoner rock with a chunk of psyche and a smattering of doom. But crucially, this is done without the costumery and theatrical tics that often accompany such collisions. No mock pagan pageantry, no graveyard cosplay, no cartoon Satanism. What Crumbling Ghost latch onto is not folk as a museum piece, but as a lived experience, the dramas rooted in the culture, stories, and daily lives of ordinary people, the folklore, the tales of love and death, murder and adultery, freedom and oppression. Singer Katie Harnett says. "Doting mothers, possessive, violent partners, vulnerable women, seasonal workers and Royal scandals this album is our representation of the trials and tribulations of human existence and universal experiences that still feel relevant today."The result is a set of murder ballads, supernatural reckonings and cautionary tales, all wrapped in slabs of heavy, thumping fuzz and atmospheric sonics. Harnett's voice sits at the centre: unmistakably folk rooted, but shorn of prettification, melodic yet capable of real bite.

Fusing walls of scuffed-up guitars with crystalline atmospherics and honeyed power pop hooks, Kitchener rockers Slough arrive kinetic and fully formed on their self-titled debut. Across seven tracks, the group reveals a distinctive but familiar sound that would not be out of place on the 1990s MuchMusic rotation, indebted as much to the aesthetics of CanCon alternative rock as to the Glasgow school of indie songwriting. It's an accomplished and succinct first statement that wastes no time introducing this exciting act's big, shiny tunes. The album arrives October 30, via Having Fun / We Are Busy Bodies.Standout tracks "Breezin" and "Laid Up" are the best microcosms of the record as a whole. The former is a 60s-90s fusion that recalls Matthew Sweet or The Posies, riding a laid-back, sluggish groove that let's the intricate melodicism of the lead lines and vocals take centre stage before a skronked guitar freak-out dominates the mix. "Laid Up" is the track where the album's indebtedness to the 1990s Halifax Pop Explosion scene really shines through, with echoes of Thrush Hermit, Inbreds, or Smeared-era Sloan. Under all of this is a deceptive amount of jangle. Influences / FFO: Teenage Fanclub, Thrush Hermit, The Breeders, Oasis, The Inbreds, Smashing Pumpkins, Pixies, Limblifter, By Divine Right, JAMC.

As the genre-defying masters of stoner metal, the latest iteration of Sleep finds founding member and lead songwriter Al Cisneros newly partnered with the generational talent of Dale Crover (Melvins, Redd Kross) on drums and the iconoclastic Bubba Dupree (Void) on guitar. While simpler minds may seek out the redundancy of a monotonous iterative exercise, the road map of new album Hempispheres is an exploratory vision, one replacing overload with nuance and subtlety yet maintaining the interplay that made the band so special from the outset. So while the discourse on messageboards and comment sections bemoan the amicable absence of long-time guitarist Matt Pike, real heads, visionaries and open-minded truth-seekers alike will be rewarded with not the Sleep album they anticipated or expected, rather with Hempispheres being the album that is needed.

Originally released on LP in 2010 in a small and not-formally-distributed version, Three Lobed Recordings is excited to bring Steve Gunn's "Sundowner" to a wide audience. Pressed from the same metal mother as the 2010 edition, this album represents one of Gunn's earliest gut punches. It continues to captivate - note the hundreds of wantlist entries for this title on Discogs - with it's timeline and haunted charm. This one features Gunn-specific guitar workouts like "No Atlas" and "Concrete Beach". You have haunting vocal turns like "For the Horse, Etc.", "Money Train Blues" and a gorgeous take on John Martyn's "Over The Hill". This is the album where Jack Rose told Steve he needed to keep putting out material in this vein. Ask anyone who knows it and they will all tell you that this album is both timeless and has earned the legend. Three Lobed is excited to bring this one back into the wider conversation, back into store shelves and onto the turntables of listeners everywhere.

MISSED OPPORTUNITY FOR THE WORLD is an album born out of existential joy and dread. From blasting noise to tape loops fast-forwarding into the vastness of space, there are moments for just about every doomer and zoomer. The album started as a sprawling sound collage whittled down to thirteen tracks that span today's manic spectrum of emotion. Recorded over a year-and-a-half of location and life changes it feels rife with tonal shifts appropriate for the uncertainty of present day living. MOFTW is a pop record. Missed Opportunity for the World is a slight return to standard band format (guitar/bass/drums) but uses loops as the basis for each new movement. Michael Baum and Alan Connor both take turns as lead and accompanying vocalists, swinging from snarling yelps to crooning ballads. A post-everything maximalist kitchen sink ethic includes sample-based beat-driven grooves under harsh or blissful leads. Did we mention this is a pop record? Imagine the disco ball from the cover art dropped on the tile floor, reassembled with tape, and thrown directly into your face.
