Peach Indie Exclusive Vinyl. For more than 20 years, every Caspian album has been driven by a desire to stretch boundaries - a relentless ambition that's resulted in one of post-rock's most revered catalogs and established the Massachusetts quintet as an enduring, global force in the genre's modern era. On Caspian, the band's first album in six years and debut for Wax Bodega, the more unexpected way forward was to stop searching for what they hadn't yet done and instead trust what had defined them from the beginning. The six-song, 39-minute effort draws freely from the musical vocabulary the band have spent their career writing: evocative melodic themes, dense textures, swelling crescendos and crushing heaviness that rolls in like a slow-moving storm on the horizon. But they still find new possibilities within those familiar contours, allowing patient development and repetition to carry as much weight as surprise. The nine-minute "Remain" turns a recurring melody into a sweeping study in tension and release, while "No One Left to Tell" layers subtle shifts around a hypnotic tremolo figure and "A Great Fire" sends serpentine guitars crashing into buzzsaw riffs. Even the graceful 3/4-time closer "Waltz for the End," completed in a half-hour burst of inspiration, reflects the quiet confidence of five musicians comfortable enough in their skin to resist tearing everything down for the sake of reinvention, even as the circumstances surrounding them change dramatically.

Heather Nova releases her new album, “The Orchard,” on V2 Records in October 2026. The Orchard is a beautiful collection of songs; strong in melody and rich in poetic imagery, that dives deep emotionally. But the overriding feeling on this album is one of hope and light and possibility—just what we need in these troubled times.
The album was recorded in London over the course of 6 weeks last winter with producer Tim Bran, known for the sound he’d gotten with HAEVN and London Grammar. Predominantly made with just Tim and Heather throwing ideas back and forth, the production is authentic and natural but also contemporary.

Following their Grammy-nominated 2020 self-titled debut, the Dinner Party: Dessert reimagining, and 2023's Enigmatic Society, Whatchu Bringing? finds the group as locked-in as ever - trading the same easy, in-the-room feel that has made them one of the most beloved collectives in modern music.Whatchu Bringing? arrives on the heels of a pair of 2026 Grammy nominations for Dinner Party co-founder Terrace Martin. There is no grand, overarching storyline to Save As, the second solo album from Elena Tonra'sEx: Re project. Rather, the album - produced by Fabian Prynn and also featuring JosephineStephenson on cello, Hinako Omori on synthesisers, Ben Reed on bass and Jethro Fox on electricguitar - is the latest in the Daughter lead singer's catalogue of expert chronicles of the gnawingminutiae of human consciousness: the over-thinking that consumes us, and the places we travelto escape. The title of album opener "Radio Station", which begins with stately strummed acoustic guitarand morphs into a trippy song about an endless California roadtrip, is a metaphor for howTonra feels about her mind. "I end up getting stuck because I can't make decisions," she says.Demo recordings live on in many of the final cuts, as on "Sleep", which Tonra first recorded in ahotel room in Paris. The final version features a melodic loop made from the demo's acousticguitar run through a vocoder and a drum machine, which together offer a muffled quality to thesound, like hearing a party through a wall.Other tracks, such as the stand-out "Am I Even Real?", a Tonra-Prynn duet on which Tonra singsabout spaceships to ask whether she is being true to herself in a relationship, found their trueversion in the studio. That combination of long-held ideas stored in notebooks and on laptopswith unfiltered first thoughts and improvisations is key to the album's perfect mingling ofliveliness and deep thoughtfulness.

In Dead Deities, SATANIC PLANET’s new album for Relapse Records, we see a band coming into its own while offering an aggressive, pitch-black, deeply surly call-to-arms against autocracy in the age of Christian nationalism. Lucien Greaves (The Satanic Temple co-founder and spokesperson), Luke Henshaw (Planet B, Sonido de la Frontera, First Power Crew, Variations In the Key of the Afterlife), Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Misfits, Mr. Bungle, Dead Cross), and Justin Pearson (The Locust, Swing Kids, Deaf Club) are now a fully together-in-the-studio band with razor-sharpened focus, creating a sound and lyrical catalog of ideas that Greaves says is both more personal and even closer aligned to the goals of The Satanic Temple, which through art, action, and activism seeks to “encourage benevolence and empathy, reject tyrannical authority, advocate practiced common sense, oppose injustice, and undertake noble pursuits.” The Satanic Temple and SATANIC PLANET are here to empower all those who are needed in the ongoing battle against theocracy, apathy, and inequality.
Dead Deities begins as a brooding, doomy soundscape with backwards ritualistic vocals that churn forward like a barbaric horror flick scene before launching into the aptly named “Antichrist,” with a hypnotic, screamy post-post-post-hardcore intro that melds into a slow, nasty, heavy vision of what pop music might sound like in Hell. This 11-track stygian brute of an album is a journey through modern dark music with tolling bells, blackened synth, diabolical noise interludes, drums as heavy as a mountain, and group vocals torn straight out of your best-worst nightmares.
The record’s first single, “Sam Alito’s Mom,” references the arch-conservative Supreme Court Justice known for his work in helping to overturn Roe v. Wade. The track is an all-out assault on an absolute piece of human dogshit with Greaves and Pearson’s vocals twisting around each other like cobras at a slow, growling pace of pure sunless devastation. This is music that has come from decades of in-the-trenches touring and experimentation, from Slayer to the Locust, Planet B’s avant-garde sci-fi hip-hop to Mr. Bungle’s bizarro metal orchestrations. In Dead Deities you feel this godless wave of collected history building up to birth a gruesome new monster.
In an age of regression, reversed social betterment, and the label “terrorist” slapped on anyone brave enough to oppose the men in power, this is protest music with bite and bark in lethal, equal doses. If the goal is us taking care of each in dangerous times, SATANIC PLANET has your back (while holding the gore-dripping, ripped-out spinal column of your enemy up to the blood-red sun). SATANIC PLANET’s Dead Deities is flag-burning, cross-toppling annihilation, all in the service of shaping a better, kinder, more livable world.

The seminal psych-rock classic The Evil One by Roky Erickson And The Aliens is reissued in a deluxe 15-track edition, restoring the original front cover from San Francisco's 415 Records release for the first time since 1981. Presented across two LPs cut at 45 rpm for maximum sonic depth and clarity, the release brings together the complete recordings from the legendary 1978 and 1979 sessions. The package includes a collector's booklet with liner notes by acclaimed Austin music journalist Joe Nick Patoski, who attended a recording session for The Evil One in 1979. Alongside rare photographs and archival images from the collection of Roky's then manager, Craig Luckin.Following his release from Rusk State Hospital in 1974, Erickson formed The Aliens and channelled his experiences and fascination with horror and science fiction into a singular new sound. Moving beyond the psychedelic garage blues of the 13th Floor Elevators, the band created harder, more ferocious rock built around jagged guitars, strange melodies and a propulsive rhythm section.Produced by Creedence Clearwater Revival bassist Stu Cook, The Evil One includes some of Erickson's most celebrated recordings, including 'Two Headed Dog', 'I Walked With A Zombie' and 'It's A Cold Night For Alligators'. Erickson's unmistakable voice and surreal lyrics, populated by zombies, demons, vampires and atomic monsters, gave the album a character unlike anything else in rock. Both the LP and CD editions feature rare photographs and images from the archive of Erickson's then manager and the sessions' executive producer, Craig Luckin. The Evil One has since become a landmark of cult rock, with it's songs covered by generations of artists and it's influence extending across punk, alternative and psychedelic music.

Indie Exclusive LP. This new album by BigXthaPlug marks a pivotal moment in his career. After broadening his musical horizons, the Texas rapper reaffirms his hip-hop identity while embracing new sounds. This project doesn't seek to pit styles against one another, but rather to show how each experience enriches his music and shapes the artist he is becoming. At the heart of the album lies a reflection on the principle of cause and effect and the aftermath of success. Once goals are achieved, visibility comes hand in hand with pressure, isolation, and responsibilities. The album's lineup reflects this duality: on one hand, a strong rap foundation featuring artists like GloRilla, Lil Yachty, Babyface Ray, Loe Shimmy, Ro$ama, and Belly Gang Kushington; on the other, bridges to R&B and pop thanks to the voices of Leon Thomas, Ava Max, and Fridayy.Visually and artistically, the album is permeated by the image of the chrome butterfly. This motif symbolizes transformation, resilience, and the sometimes high cost of evolution.

Thirty years after it's original release, Pigwalk remains one of the most important and influential albums in the history of rap-metal. Released in 1996, the album arrived before the genre exploded into the mainstream and helped establish Stuck Mojo as one of it's earliest innovators. Combining crushing groove metal riffs, hardcore aggression, and rhythmic vocal delivery, the band forged a sound that was both groundbreaking and unmistakably heavy.Produced by Devin Townsend, Pigwalk captures Stuck Mojo at a creative peak. Tracks such as ""(Here Comes) The Monster,"" ""Mental Melt Down,"" and ""Only The Strong Survive"" showcase the band's ability to balance power, groove, attitude, and memorable songwriting without sacrificing intensity. The album helped bridge the gap between traditional groove metal and the rap-metal movement that would dominate heavy music in the years that followed.Over the past three decades, Pigwalk has earned it's reputation as a cult classic and a cornerstone release for fans of aggressive, forward-thinking metal. It's influence can be heard throughout generations of bands that embraced the fusion of heavy riffs, rhythmic vocals, and crossover energy. Few albums from the era have maintained their relevance and impact as successfully as Pigwalk. This 30th Anniversary Edition from Brutal Planet Records and Limited Run Vinyl marks the first time Pigwalk has ever been pressed on vinyl in the United States. Different Strokes For Different Folks are proud to present the first ever vinyl reissue of Al Basim's legendary 'Revival' album, originally released via private press in 1979. Including elements of out-there guitar jams, spiritual jazz, kosmiche soaked rock and Middle Eastern ambience, this is truly a record to live with.Head of Label, Oz Adams explains why this record is so special: 'Every now and again you come across music that feels like you've opened a door to a room you've never been into before. 'Revival' is unique; a kaleidoscopic amalgamation of Arabic, U.S & European influences. Both reflective and deeply soulful, the songs sound like hymns beamed in from a better world.''Revival' documents Baghdad-born musician Basim Al-Hashimi's once in a lifetime trip to the U.S in 1978 where his concoction of Arabic styles with the Western '60s and '70s rock so beloved of his youth came together to produce a record almost impossible to categorize. Led by his melodic guitar playing, the band move from psychedelic excursions through to meditative ambient sections, jazz inflected grooves and joyful, progressive motifs. Licensed directly from Basim Al Hashimi himself, this reissue package includes an interview with the man himself, outlining his journey towards the creation of both his U.S experience and the masterpiece it produced, as well as photos sourced from his personal archive. Despite several attempts, 'Revival' has never been reissued before, so Different Strokes For Different Folks are delighted to release this milestone once again, available in both black and marbled vinyl. *** Indie Exclusive ***UPC: 5056868110967Label: Different StrokesRelease Date: 10.30.26Format: Vinyl
Some albums capture lightning in a bottle, while others take that lightning and refine it into something sharper, heavier, and more intentional, and Apostle's Metal For the Master (1989) is exactly that kind of record. Following the underground momentum of Hymns, Apostle returned with a bold mission to reimagine and elevate their sound, resulting in a tighter, more focused, and more powerful statement of U.S. neo-classical heavy metal driven by the vision and talent of Matt Harding. There is history woven into this release: some early cassette versions circulated under the name Apostle, and at one point the project was intended to be released as Tone Zone in 1987, but over time the recordings found their identity as Metal For the Master, a title that better reflects the album's intensity, purpose, and conviction. Recorded in Chicago at Tone Zone Studios, the home base of Rez Band, and produced by Glenn Kaiser with engineering by Roger Heiss, the album represents a unique convergence of artistry and influence, giving Apostle the platform to re-record key material with greater clarity, precision, and intensity. From the driving force of ""Overcomer"" and ""Conquerors"" to the anthemic power of ""King of Kings"" and ""Holy Soldier,"" the album delivers a confident, sharpened sound that pushes beyond the raw energy of earlier recordings, with tighter musicianship, more deliberate arrangements, and undeniable impact. Instrumental pieces like ""Parting the Red Sea"" and ""Armageddon"" further highlight the band's technical prowess and neo-classical edge, placing Apostle alongside elite players in the genre. Long respected by those who discovered them through compilations like East Coast Metal and White Metal Invasion, Apostle remained one of the great ""if you know, you know"" bands of the era, and this release changes that. For the first time ever, Metal For the Master arrives on vinyl, pressed on striking turquoise wax as a perfect visual match for the album's bold and refined sound. Part of the Metal Icon Series, this edition has been remastered by Rob Colwell to bring new depth and clarity while preserving the album's original character, and the package includes a 12x12 full-size lyrics insert, Apostle history, and a new write-up that frames the importance of this release within the band's legacy. Visually, the album is reborn with all-new artwork reimagined by NLTM's Scott Waters, giving this classic a fresh and powerful presentation worthy of it's sound. Limited to just 200 copies worldwide, this is a true collector's piece and the definitive vinyl version of one of Apostle's most focused and musically accomplished releases. If you are a fan of Saint, early Bloodgood, Yngwie Malmsteen, Judas Priest, Messiah Prophet, Sacred Warrior, Stryper, or Paradox, this belongs in your collection.

Some albums take time to arrive-but when they do, they carry the weight of everything that came before them. The Album of Labor is exactly that kind of release.Originally released in 2004 after years of delays and setbacks, this fourth album from Sweden's Veni Domine stands as a powerful and fully realized statement-refining the band's signature blend of progressive, doom, and power metal into something both more focused and more accessible, without sacrificing depth.Where Spiritual Wasteland leaned heavily into atmosphere and experimentation, The Album of Labor sharpens that approach with stronger melodies, more defined song structures, and unforgettable choruses. Tracks unfold with intention-balancing slow, weighty passages with moments of driving rhythm and soaring vocal lines. At the center is vocalist Fredrik Ohlsson, delivering one of his most confident and mature performances-combining clarity, range, and emotional intensity. Guitarist Torbjörn Weinesjö continues to elevate the band's sound with expressive lead work, even weaving in subtle blues influences that add texture and character to the album's already rich sonic palette. The production is clean, powerful, and immersive, allowing every element-from the heavy rhythm section to the layered keyboards-to breathe and contribute to the overall experience.Lyrically, the album continues Veni Domine's exploration of faith, struggle, and apocalyptic vision, often drawing from biblical imagery and prophetic themes. The result is a record that challenges the listener-not just musically, but intellectually and spiritually. This is truly a thinking person's album.Remastered by Rob Colwell and presented as part of the Metal Icon Series, this reissue gives The Album of Labour the sonic depth and clarity it has always deserved-paired with updated artwork by Scott Waters (NLTM) and the inclusion of the band's original 2004 write-up to fans.Pressed on Cat's Eye Swirl vinyl and limited to just 250 copies, this edition is built for collectors and for those who appreciate music that rewards patience, focus, and repeated listening. This is not background music. This is an album to engage, reflect on, and return to again and again. For fans of Queensrÿche, Savatage, Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus, Threshold, Haven, Saviour Machine

Sixty years into a career that began with Fairport Convention and has spanned decades as one of rock's most acclaimed singer-songwriters, Richard Thompson is still chasing surprise. On Hippies, Thugs and Heroes, he lets his subconscious take the wheel, pulling from a cast of old friends, false gurus, former selves, and invented characters who insisted on having their stories told. The result is an album that refuses to sit still. It opens with the bright, Byrds-inspired jangle of "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" — a song rooted in Thompson's own history with 1970s spiritual movements and the complicated pull of charismatic leaders — before swinging into the rowdy "Everybody's Stealing" and landing on the bluesy closer "Stringer." Along the way, "Cocaine Walking, Booze Talking" delivers some of his most inventive guitar work yet, a raw-nerve build into a splintered, psychedelic solo that captures a hardscrabble cast of London strivers and connivers.Recorded live with his longtime band — Taras Prodaniuk on bass, Michael Jerome on drums, David Mansfield on guitar and fiddle, and wife Zara Phillips on backing vocals — at Hobosound Studio in Weehawken, NJ, the sessions moved fast, often in just two to four takes. But the songwriting itself runs deep: more elaborate home demos gave Thompson's own musical identity a stronger hold on the final record, resulting in an album he describes as "less them and more me."What emerges is a spiritual inquiry disguised as a rock record — a meditation on the towers we build and the ruin that follows when we invest in them too completely. Thompson doesn't fully understand every song here, and that's exactly the point. Hippies, Thugs and Heroes is proof that after sixty years, the joy of not knowing where a song will take you hasn't faded one bit.

Call it serendipity or genius, but when four legends of Texas music pooled their talents in December 1989, a new sound was born: the Texas Tornados. Freddy Fender. Doug Sahm. Augie Meyers. Flaco Jimenez. Four careers' worth of Texas music royalty, united on a single stage - and on October 16, 1990, just one year into their run, they took that stage at Austin City Limits and delivered a performance for the ages.Fender was already a mega-star behind "Wasted Days and Wasted Nights" and "Before the Next Teardrop Falls." Sahm and Meyers had built their legend with the Sir Douglas Quintet in San Antonio, combining psychedelia, Gulf Coast blues, and spicy conjunto into a sound that shook up the pop charts with "She's About a Mover." And Flaco Jimenez, alongside his father and brother, had helped invent an entire genre - blending Mexican Norteño music with German and Czech polkas and waltzes into something completely his own. Together, they were unstoppable. The 19-song set sweeps through Tex-Mex, blues, country, rock and roll, and conjunto with the loose, joyful energy of a band still reveling in the magic of what they'd created. From the bilingual tenderness of "She Never Spoke Spanish to Me" to the barn-burning finale of "She's About a Mover" and "96 Tears, " every song crackles with the chemistry of four old friends who knew exactly how lucky they were to be sharing that stage. This Tex-Mex revue created a raucous, infectious, danceable sound that ranks as an all-time Austin City Limits favorite. Now on vinyl for the first time, it sounds exactly like it was always meant to.

Having sold over 50 million albums worldwide and earned 12 consecutive sold-out tours, the band is leaning back into the dense, saturated guitar tones and gritty hooks that made them the second-best-selling foreign act of the century.

Stella Lefty’s debut album, Long Way Home, captures an artist fully trusting her instincts and returning to the country-rooted songwriting that shaped her from the beginning. Following a breakout run led by “Thinking ’bout You,” “Boston” — which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 — and “Something to Lose” with Vincent Mason, Stella has amassed more than 875 million global streams while establishing herself as one of country-pop’s fastest-rising new voices. Long Way Home debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200, with the 14-track project finding Stella embracing a more personal, instinctive approach to songwriting after a period of feeling disconnected from the music she was making. Produced with Joe Reeves, the album blends acoustic-driven country-pop with candid songs about love, heartbreak, nostalgia, uncertainty, and learning to trust yourself. Much of the record was written alongside her close friend and collaborator Grace Enger, while songs like “Lean In, Kiss Me,” “Summer You Were Mine,” and “Feel Better” showcase different sides of Stella’s storytelling. As she steps into her first sold-out headline tour, Long Way Home represents the clearest expression yet of who Stella is as both a songwriter and artist: emotional, direct, joyful, and completely comfortable making the music she wants to make.

Nine-time GRAMMY® winner Anderson .Paak and GRAMMY®-nominated rapper Cordae have been operating on the same wavelength for years. What started as pure chemical reaction on 2019’s “RNP” slowly turned into one of hip-hop’s most natural, low-ego partnerships, fueled by back-and-forth gems like “Two Tens” and “Summer Drop” and a series of dynamic TV performances that felt more like two best friends hanging out than a polished routine. On their debut collaborative album, Heavy Is The Crown, that organic bond gets the full-length treatment it’s always deserved.
At its core, the project is a tightrope walk between serious real-life stakes and uncompromising fun. The title isn't just bravado—it speaks directly to the shared weight both artists carry as the primary providers and anchors for their families. But instead of letting that pressure crush the vibe, .Paak and Cordae lean into each other. Meeting as total equals, .Paak’s elastic, soul-drenched musicality anchors Cordae’s razor-sharp lyricism, allowing both to unpack the heavy reality of success and family responsibility without ever losing their spark.
That balance is what makes the album tick. To drive the point home, the album art pays homage to the cult comedy Step Brothers—a nod to the silly, irreverent friendship that birthed the music in the first place. Heavy Is The Crown doesn't feel like a forced corporate crossover or a calculated career move. It’s a record about brotherhood, family, and what happens when two masters of their craft step into the studio simply because nobody makes them laugh, rap, or create quite like the other.
