Trappings of Sleep brings Caroline Davis, Grey McMurray,and Qasim Naqvi together in a deeply immersive meeting ofalto saxophone, guitar, electronics, and drums. Movingbetween intimacy and intensity, the trio explores connectionand the spaces between sound and silence, allowing eachinstrument to respond to and reshape the others in realtime.Red Hook Records is a record label launched in 2021by former ECM producer Sun Chung. The label is aplace for encounters, where musicians come together toshare ideas, exchange perspectives, and carve newadventurous paths of creative wayfaring.
