Dream Crease is the solo project of Los Angeles producer and multi-instrumentalist Marina Aguerre (Teal Pop, Spaceface, Dumbo Gets Mad). Her second full length album Blue Hour in the Living Room is fantasy ambient drawn from otherworldly visions and nature recorded in her own back yard. It captures the transition between day and night, life and death, outside and inside, and how quickly those lines blur. The album explores rebirth, death and rot, and the cycle of living through self-captured nature samples, synthesized into a dreamy and textured introspective journey. Through obscured lyrics and bird calls, Aguerre finds the immensely complex yet microscopic ecosystems in our own back yards have valuable lessons growing within them, if we only take the chance to get very small and look.FFO Brian Eno, Nala Sinephro, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith. Available as a limited edition pressing of 200 cyanotype galaxy vinyl with full-color art sleeve. Ships from the US via PFR Records. Long Slow Distance is an album about finding peace, and making peace where it can't be found. It's inspired by change, grief, acceptance, forgiveness, love, and running. Dawson began running around the same time he started making records. At this point it's unclear where one practice ends and the other begins. The album's title has become the ethos he's embraced for all things in life. Long Slow Dance unravels the woven collage of his previous work. Here each song consists of three long guitar takes, panned across the stereo-field with minimal overdubs. ""I remember my grandmother always kept a rain barrel on the farm. Just a simple vessel that served as a means for gathering water for the garden and the flowers. I wanted to instill that sentiment on this record. Other than some panning and recreational EQing, the computer was just a vessel to gather sounds."" There is a distant grace to the album. A soft expanse, a quiet contrast. Guitars dissolve and then recalibrate. Sparse melodic motifs bloom and fracture. Warm chords clash and make amends. Alpenglow textures shimmer against tones that feel weathered by salt air. The songs are lightly propulsive, yet drift at a glacial pace. Fields and artifacts ground the material, like keeping your eyes on the horizon. Long Slow Distance feels intuitive, sentimental, and like Dawson is one step closer to whatever distance he is chasing.

Marconi Union return with Multiforms: Ambient Transmissions Vol.3, the latest chapter in their long-running Ambient Transmissions series, released via Just Music. It will be accompanied by a full-length A/V visualiser premiering on the day of release, further extending the project's immersive world.A group long regarded as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary ambient and electronic music, the Mancunian outfit have spent over two decades refining a sound that resists easy definition. From their 2003 debut Under Wires and Searchlights through to a string of critically acclaimed releases, their work has continually balanced texture, emotion and spatialdepth. As Uncut succinctly put it: "Few others offer mellow journeys into night as effectively as Marconi Union."Multiforms: Ambient Transmissions Vol.3 builds on the foundations of 2011's Beautifully Falling Apart (Vol.1) and 2012's Weightless (Vol.2). The latter of which introduced their most widely recognised work 'Weightless'. Conceived as a complete listening experience, Multiforms: Ambient Transmissions Vol.3 unfolds as a single, continuous piece, each movement folding seamlessly into the next. There are no standout tracks by design; instead, the album invites full immersion, encouraging the listener to drift through shifting atmospheres, serene soundscapes and quietly evolving emotional states. It is both expansive and intimate, designed for deep listening
