Aidan Zamiri and Charli xcx's The Moment, a mockumentary about the chaos of fame, is driven by a heart-pounding electronic score from beloved producer and artist A. G. Cook. Capturing the electric rise of BRAT, the score is a collection of dance-forward tracks, pulsing with a delightfully frantic energy. The score's darkest and deepest moments are balanced by ambient sonic expanses with elegant layers of synth pads and captivating melodies to create a soundtrack that mirrors film's duality. In theaters on January 30, "The Moment" stars xcx, Alexander Skarsgard, Rachel Sennot and Kylie Jenner.

Double vinyl LP pressing. Xerrox Vol. 2 is the sixth studio album, released in 2009 by German electronic artist Alva Noto. It is the second installment of the Xerrox penthalogy, based on the concept of digital replication of source material. As with the first Xerrox album, the starting point is a set of samples culled from external sources. This time, snippets and recordings from Sunn O))) collaborator Stephen O'Malley and composer Michael Nyman are featured, as is an excerpt from the 2004 Insen tour with Ryuichi Sakamoto. While Alva Noto's oeuvre is predominantly affiliated with pristine sound design, the Xerrox series holds more intimate gestures and emotional sensibility. This volume moves further from the conceptualism and orderliness of prior musical outputs, ranging from heart-warming elegies to mind-bending sci-fi projections in extrasolar territories. Double vinyl LP pressing. Xerrox Vol. 1 is the third studio album by German electronic artist Alva Noto. It was released in 2007 as part of the ongoing Xerrox pentalogy, based on the concept of digital replication of source material. Using the process of copying as a basis, the Xerrox series deals with the manipulation of data through endless reproduction. Due to the inherent fallacy of making copies from other copies, everyday sounds become so altered that they are hardly associated with their source material. As a result, entirely new sounds are created: copies of originals become originals themselves. Together with Christoph Brünggel, Nicolai designed a "sample transformer" that takes audio fragments and manipulates them beyond recognition. In this process of taking something familiar and defamiliarizing it, samples from obvious sources-advertising jingles, airport tones, telephone hold music, and film soundtracks-were used and altered, resulting in sounds totally unlike their original source. The result is a series of haunting, intricately realised pieces that recontextualise Nicolai's "glitches and bass" sound into extended, cinematic, organic, and almost orchestral works. Saxophonist, producer, and composer Brian Allen Simon channels darker, dreamlike states under his Anenon alias on Dream Temperature, a deeply evocative album that brings electronic processing to the foreground through digitized winds and uncanny atmospherics reminiscent of his mid-to-late 2010s work. A Los Angeles native and longtime resident, Simon follows the revered Petrol (2016), Tongue (2018), and the entirely acoustic Moons Melt Milk Light (2023) with a new focus on wind synthesizer, acoustic piano, and tenor saxophone, with electronics literally driven by his breath and shaped via laptop processing, added textures, and field recordings. Across it's 31 minutes, the record moves between urban grit and pastoral drift, capturing the lingering weight of half-remembered dreams; solo and part-solo piano interludes ('Last Sun 1' and '2') cut through the haze with a tender melancholy, while pieces like 'Nulle Part 1+2' pit saxophone flourishes against noisy drones and digital detritus. Recorded at home at dusk and night between September 2024 and October 2025, Dream Temperature expands Simon's sonic universe-from the compact title track's sub-bass and digital sax rasps to the grittier 'When The Light Appears, Boy' and the enveloping ambience of 'Toyama'-with personal location recordings from Sardinia, Japan, Big Sur, and LA surfacing unexpectedly, resulting in a haunting, elegant coalescence of his electronic and acoustic practices.

Vinyl LP pressing. Quite unlike anything else he's ever done, "Windowlicker" is perhaps the most accessible and dancefloor-friendly track Richard D James has ever created. A simple, gurgling riff paired with childishly sung vocals and thrown over straight-up 4/4 beats, groaning and developing, the bizarre sonics straining to burst through the shackles of form and expectation. "Formula" provides unexpected blasts of sound, lengthy breaks, explosive aspirates - it seems to escape and transcend this very plane of existence. "Nannou" is a chilling lullaby, minor-key themes that evoke thoughts of traditional melodies while percussion seemingly made out of household trappings ground it in the everyday.

The master of ambient soundscapes, intertwining authentic old school breakbeats with his inimitable style returns with a fresh album of choice cuts for the Spatial crew.A1 - Form of DefractionOpening the LP in his gloriously unique style, Aural Imbalance sets the tone with a powerfully ambient intro of padwork and delicately filtered breaks before dense, analogue old school breakbeats roar to life sending the track skyward. The sublime 808 bassline simmers beneath an ever-evolving soundscape of twinkling melodies and strings, the very essence of serenity captured in just under 7 minutes of audio bliss.A2 - Discreet FunctionEnveloping the listener with a warm blanket of silky ambience, Discreet Function soon jolts to life with a crunchy breakbeat that counteracts yet compliments the pads and myriad of delicious micro melodies so well, you wonder how it's possible to take such extremes and mix them down so expertly that our ears accept it as one. After a relatively brief breakdown the track rolls out before the breaks are snatched away at the death - capping off a quite unique composition.B1 - SoftlightLight cymbals and delicate textures introduce us to Softlight, a track which sees Aural Imbalance guiding the listener through the clouds to a haven of gentle serenity where your troubles simply fade away, punctuated by a stunningly programmed and memorable Hot Pants break pattern, timid classic basslines and an overall plethora of sun-baked energy - perfect for the headphones and the record box - as always.B2 - AirwaveImmensely old school vibes are immediately present in Airwave, with analogue breaks and succinct female vocal samples that mingle with echoing melodies and synthwork to create a beautifully flowing and unique slice of atmospheric gold. Additional breaks are fused into the mix as the track progresses, elevating the piece to the heights we have come to expect from Aural Imbalance, yet never cease to amaze.C1 - Speed of LightGentle cymbals and filtered breaks open Speed of Light, before a crisp barrage of amen goodness descends and dominates proceedings - just as a good amen should! Programmed to perfection with an immensely danceable rolling pattern, the amens lead us through a sea of washing synths and delicate melodies, intertwining and frolicking in the mix, completing a charming and memorable piece.C2 - Fading StarPlayful strings and a luscious 808 bassline play with sumptuous padwork in the intro to Fading Star, a track which sees Aural Imbalance capture the essence of 90's jungle and it's symbiotic relationship with atmospheric drum & bass perfectly. Developing throughout with an array of unassuming effects and a quietly moving vibe, Fading Star is the perfect addition to sets spanning the entire history of this music.D1 - Drifting Under Bright SkiesAural Imbalance resurrects the excellent break last featured on Spatial in his sublime track Surface Area, this time chopped and sliced to a different vibe, with kickdrums at the forefront and that fantastically crunchy snare deployed more sparingly. Shimmering padwork and light melodies dance across the mix throughout to leave us with a refreshingly unique and memorable track you won't be able to get enough of.D2 - VioletCompleting this fine LP of old school ambient breakbeat mastery, Aural Imbalance deploys Violet to see us out - a climactic-feeling romp that opens with quiet intent before launching the listener through cheery melodic tones and bustling soundscapes, sprinkled liberally with airy pads and fluttering micro melodies that zip and whoosh around thick analogue breakbeats. A fitting end to a thoroughly enjoyable album.Words by Chris Hayes (Spatial / Red Mist) UPC: 899123053372Label: SpatialRelease Date: 5.29.26Format: Vinyl

Electric Blue Vinyl. Deeply informed by a deliberate transformation of his musical process, Bayonne's third full-length Temporary Time ultimately makes for his most expansive work to date-an album of both painfully raw introspection and otherworldly beauty. On Temporary Time, Bayonne channels vast imagination into an elegant, yet wildly experimental form of electronic pop, equal parts meditative and mesmerizing. In the making of his latest body of work, the Austin-based artist/producer/multi-instrumentalist otherwise known as Roger Sellers found himself in even greater need of an outlet for his kinetic creative impulses, thanks to an intense convergence of events in his personal life: his father's diagnosis with and eventual death from cancer, the end of a significant relationship, and an overwhelming struggle with depression and anxiety. "Right Thing" and "Perfect" are focus tracks.

In discotheques and dark rooms across Europe, Boys' Shorts have earned the trust of the queer and wider clubbing communities as generous stewards of a timeless sound that, like themselves, never stops moving forward. The duo of Vangelis and Tareq initially met at an underground club in their native Greece. Sensing a rare sonic connection, the pair became friends, forming Boys' Shorts to meet again and again, travelling from their adopted cities of Thessaloniki and London to appear as far afield as Berlin's Panorama Bar and New York's Le Bain, as well as supporting Goldfrapp and Hot Chip on tour. Their motivation? In their own words, 'we make people dance!' Following years of gradual, thoughtful studio sessions, and EP releases on tastemaking electronic labels including Phantasy Sound and Live At Robert Johnson, Boys' Shorts establish their own imprint, ALL SORTS, in order to deliver a fantastically ambitious debut album, 'What Does It Take To Make These Men Happy?' The LP opens with the grandiose, cosmic vista of 'The Space Between Us', a classic passage of strings and synthesis, before the shared Boys' Shorts vision falls back to earthier territory with deep groove of 'Let's Fall In Love', mixing universal sentiment with a patient vision of human potential. 'Come' aligns with NYC's Michael Cignarale, offering an excitable invitation to the mind and body sculpted by the way of a throbbing, warehouse-sized statement of nineties house sensuality. Channeling heroes Lowe and Tennant at their most introspective, 'Short Life' maintains the dance, yet dares to ask, 'what if the parties aren't enough anymore... Can you ask for something more?'Out of the pet shop and straight into the strobe lights, 'Disco Romantica' makes good on the promise of it's title. A lovelorn monolog from Greek electronic pioneer, K. BHTA gives way and slips into rave stabs and whirring synthesis that looks forward to a memorable, emotionally-charged night ahead. Underpinning this feeling of anticipation, 'Going Out Hoping To See You' introduces the voice of Justin Strauss to Boys' Shorts' musical world. A certified icon of club culture, spinning from The Mudd Club to modern day DJ booths, Strauss's generation spanning experience of nightlife leans into the fundamentals of human connection and the pleasure of musical discovery, wrapped in irresistible chug. Another transformative figure in club music, Fischerspooner's own Casey Spooner dips into French for the Motorik cyber sleaze of 'MECANIMAUX', their own vocals pitching up and down with playful EBM abandon. 'Montage' offers a different kind of composition, conjuring an ecstatic club banger that finds inspiration in nineties indie rock motifs alongside the rave scene, while 'Run' promises to blow out sound systems before it's weighty electro bassline succumbs to waves of glistening synths. Such bombast into beauty perfectly sets up the record's blissful conclusion; 'The Stars Are Out For You' is electro-pop so delicate as to heal aching feet (and mend broken hearts), while offering the final tender moments of the album as a form of tribute on 'Untitled (For Mitsi)'. It's a thoughtful ending to a thrilling trip through a shared passion for electronic and pop music in all it's glorious potential. What does it take to make these men happy? It's a pleasure to find out. Tracklisting:A1. The Space Between Us A2. Let's Fall In Love (ft. K. BHTA) A3. Come (ft. Michael Cignarile)A4. Short Life A5. Disco Romantico B1. Double fire splatter vinyl LP pressing. As C418, composer and producer Daniel Rosenfeld designs sounds to resonate in both physical and pixelated realms. Best known for his original soundtracks to Minecraft, the single best-selling video game of all time, he's developed a discography of instrumental music over the last decade that traverses electronic pop patterns, neo-classical dreamscapes, and sparse ambient motifs. Originally self-released in 2013, Minecraft Volume Beta was C418's longest batch of music to date at nearly 140 minutes. The collection features tracks that were "silently" added to Minecraft during it's music updates and a few that never officially entered the game. Rosenfeld's unmistakable abilities are on display; he creates a sweeping variety of musical ideas that mirror the limitless universe of Minecraft. Ghostly International is thrilled to give this unique collaboration it's due treatment and hopes to see the creative inspiration which drives Minecraft and Rosenfeld continue to disperse by virtue of this unexpectedly universal music.

Across ten tracks, Leather Temple, the third and final chapter of the Leather trilogy channels a raw and nervous energy, somewhere between saturated electro, industrial fever, and 90s synthetic pulse. Yet behind this intensity also lies a cinematic and orchestral dimension, with arrangements that expand the horizon and add dramatic scope. A tight format, a constant intensity: Leather Temple goes all in on impact, balancing raw immediacy with the feel of a post-apocalyptic movie soundtrack.
