Formed in Southern California and forged in adversity, Dayseeker evolved from post-hardcore upstarts into one of the most emotionally resonant and stylistically agile bands in heavy music today. Their songs don't just process grief, heartbreak, and trauma - they transform them into something magnetic, powerful, and ultimately empowering. Made up of singer Rory Rodriguez, guitarist Gino Sgambelluri, bassist Ramone Valerio (who joined in 2017), and drummer Zac Mayfield (who joined in 2022) the band prioritize emotional truth over trends, connecting through authentic passion, sonic innovation, and lyrical vulnerability. The profound resonance of the band's music with fellow outsiders worldwide is evident in their 600 million+ streams. And it's palpable at every show, from sold-out headlining runs in theaters to tours with Pierce The Veil, Bad Omens, and Ice Nine Kills. That sense of creative reverie pulses through Dayseeker's sixth full-length album, Creature in the Black Night. Produced by Daniel Braunstein (Spiritbox, Silent Planet) and mixed by Zakk Cervini (Blink-182, Bring Me The Horizon, Lorna Shore), the album is Dayseeker's most immersive and intentional record to date - eerie, cinematic, and threaded with a dark (and sexy) emotional current. Fans expecting a sorrowful descent into depression might be surprised - Creature in the Black Night has sharper edges, heavier riffs, and a newfound sense of clarity. Dayseeker hasn't just evolved. They've ascended. Limited Edition / Red/Black Pearl Flip Vinyl UPC: 5401148012835Label: SpinefarmRelease Date: 10.30.26Format: Vinyl
The sophomore album from Australian Music Prize-shortlisted songwriter Rowena Wise is a tender, point-blank reckoning with what it means to be flesh and blood. Love hurts, everyone is full of dark and light, and the rules of negotiating desire, devotion and self-authenticity no longer hold. Produced by Rob Muinos (Julia Jacklin, Didirri) and recorded live over three days at The Ratshack with Richard Bradbeer (bass), Jess Ellwood (drums) and Matt Dixon (pedal steel), the album favours restraint and intimacy. Wise's vocal performances soar and crumble in real time over tight, organic instrumentation - powerful storytelling that feels less like spectacle and more like permission. Since her 2018 debut, Wise has amassed over 9.2M+ streams, earned support from triple j and double j, and been praised by CLASH Magazine, FLOOD, and Rolling Stone AU/NZ. She has supported Holy Holy, Ball Park Music, Bernard Fanning and Paul Dempsey, and performed at SXSW, The Great Escape, Reeperbahn Festival and Bigsound, with sold-out shows in London and Melbourne.

What keeps you alive? Your will? Your conscious mind? Your choice to remain open, alert, present? Or is it something just beyond your grasp: an obscure automatic process, quietly carrying you forward until it doesn't?These are the questions that haunt Wellness Plan, the second full-length album by Genital Shame, the solo project of musician Erin Dawson. Her music exists in a dissociative fog where terror, resignation, and determination become nearly impossible to separate. On Wellness Plan, Dawson widens that world, folding black metal and noise together with fragile moments of stillness.Dawson's approach is informed by a background in music education and classical guitar, which she brings to her own strange iteration of experimental music rooted in black metal. Wellness Plan is harmonically dense, with riffs and melodies folding into one another in unexpected ways. It draws from a tradition of weirdo black metal that treats the genre less as a fixed language than as something to pull apart, distort, and reassemble. While making Wellness Plan, Dawson encountered old microscopic footage of white blood cells searching for viruses. "I love the idea that even if you struggle with and mask a deep self-hate, there's something microscopic inside you voting for your continued, healthy existence-even if you feel like you don't deserve it," she says. "It's also about the idea that as beautiful as that image is, it's still not quite enough."Dawson describes Wellness Plan as "a process of acceptance through images of disappearing." The contradiction between the desire to disappear and the body's impulse to survive runs throughout the record, returning to the question of how much control we have over our own survival. Stella Lefty’s debut album, Long Way Home, captures an artist fully trusting her instincts and returning to the country-rooted songwriting that shaped her from the beginning. Following a breakout run led by “Thinking ’bout You,” “Boston” — which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 — and “Something to Lose” with Vincent Mason, Stella has amassed more than 875 million global streams while establishing herself as one of country-pop’s fastest-rising new voices. Long Way Home debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200, with the 14-track project finding Stella embracing a more personal, instinctive approach to songwriting after a period of feeling disconnected from the music she was making. Produced with Joe Reeves, the album blends acoustic-driven country-pop with candid songs about love, heartbreak, nostalgia, uncertainty, and learning to trust yourself. Much of the record was written alongside her close friend and collaborator Grace Enger, while songs like “Lean In, Kiss Me,” “Summer You Were Mine,” and “Feel Better” showcase different sides of Stella’s storytelling. As she steps into her first sold-out headline tour, Long Way Home represents the clearest expression yet of who Stella is as both a songwriter and artist: emotional, direct, joyful, and completely comfortable making the music she wants to make.

Captain My Captain shows Team Dresch finding and creating community, elevating and becoming dykons. Drummer Melissa York joins the fold, adding a level of NYC showmanship to the quintessentially Northwestern, T-shirted live act. Already they commanded a level of assurance and confidence, staying true to the underground's autonomous spirit; Remember who you are, Make up who you are, they roar over the noise of busted closets. The fierce and biting lyrics are aided by raging, skilled punk rock sounds, creating one of the most intense and meaningful punk revival albums to date. Team Dresch is able to accomplish more in this 35 minutes than many bands can in their entire career. Punk rock will never be the same.

From very humble origins, Big Crown has become one of the most respected independent imprints in the world with an incredibly talented international roster and an incomparable catalog of timeless music. Leon Michels & Danny Akalepse opened the doors at Big Crown in 2016 with a simple ethos: put out good music they believe in regardless of genre. A double LP with choice tracks by Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band, Lady Wray, Brainstory, Derya Yildirim & Grup Simsek, El Michels Affair, Thee Lakesiders, Dave Guy, Les Imprimes, Homer, Thee Marloes, Lee Fields & The Expressions, Bobby Oroza, Marco Benevento, The Shacks, Paul & The Tall Trees, Thee Heart Tones, Surprise Chef, 79.5, Liam Bailey, and Holy Hive. Originally released in 2000, Iron is one of the most playful and distinctive albums in the COH catalogue. Ivan Pavlov channels a lifelong fascination with 1980s heavy metal, not by imitating it's riffs or volume, but by distilling what he describes as it's defining sonic character. Pavlov states, "The album was inspired by my teenage passion for the 80's heavy metal, and I think on IRON I wanted to focus on a specific frequency range common to the genre, the mid-range distortion grain."

The tenth album of Clinic's career, Wild In The Streets, takes the current temperature of the UK in their own inimitable style. These dozen songs are marked by urgency, surreal wordplay and trademark wit. For a band determined to chart their own course ("We've always run in the opposite direction to what's happening," asserts Ade Blackburn. "So if anything gets too close to sounding like something else, then we'll take a different route"), Clinic continue to push forward in new and unexpected ways.Nearly 30 years since they first founded Clinic as a quartet, key members Blackburn and Jonathan Hartley's chemistry remains as potent as it ever was, perhaps even more so. "We've known each other since school," says Blackburn. "Hartley was always interested in electronics and drum machines, even as a teenager. He's into rhythms, whether it's reggae and funk or more conventional guitar music, whereas I was always into songs and melodies. I think that's why Clinic works so well." Wild In The Streets is now set to take it's place beside past triumphs like 2000's Internal Wrangler, 2006's Visitations and 2012's Free Reign. "We've always had this absolute faith in what we do," Blackburn adds. "It's relatively outsider-ish music, but that's something that's motivated us to keep going, because it's good to have things that are a little out on the fringes. There's just not enough of that kind of music these days."

Shika Shika presents the fifth volume in their Guide to the Birdsong series, this time taking the song of endangered birds to the dancefloor. This new chapter of the long-running project that works with renowned artists and producers to turn endangered birdsong into music. This time, tracks from previous Birdsong albums are reimagined by a global line-up of forward-thinking electronic artists, including Auntie Flo, Photay, Matias Aguayo, Yosi Horikawa, Tayhana and El Búho, transforming the calls, rhythms and atmospheres of threatened bird species into a new remix album. The idea is simple and unique: take music made from and inspired by the songs of endangered birds, and invite some of the most distinctive voices in contemporary electronic music to reinterpret it. The result is a record that moves between experimental club music, organic electronica, Latin American underground sounds, downtempo, field-recording-led production and global dance music, all rooted in the natural world.

Mogwai's groundbreaking debut album 'Young Team', originally released in October 2007 is to be reissued in February 2023, remastered and refreshed on coloured vinyl, CD and digital. Housed in a gatefold sleeve with original artwork, the red vinyl will come with a digital download code. The original recording engineer for the album, Paul Savage, whose production credits include Franz Ferdinand and The Twilight Sad, has remastered the album for this special reissue. After a brace of critically acclaimed singles and a host of incendiary live shows, there was a palpable sense of anticipation over the release of Mogwai's debut long player. Arriving 25 years ago, little has happened since to diminish it's impact: stylistically at odds with what was rapidly becoming the fag-end of Britpop, 'Young Team' was an obstreperous exercise in dynamics and fury - the unapologetically avant-garde nestled alongside tracks of poignant, delicate beauty.
