Lizzy Borden was one of Metal Blade Records' most flamboyant and theatrical acts of the 1980s, blending shock-rock visuals with razor-sharp heavy metal. With Terror Rising (1987) and Give 'Em the Axe (1984), the band cemented it's reputation for over-the-top showmanship, anthemic choruses, and fearless cover choices. This exclusive CD release brings together the complete recordings from both cult-classic EPs, fully remastered by Rob Colwell for maximum impact. Fans will finally get their hands on 10 tracks of pure heavy metal mayhem-including the once-deleted favorites "American Metal" and "Rod of Iron (Live)." The collection also features unforgettable covers of Rainbow's "Long Live Rock 'N' Roll," The Tubes' "Don't Touch Me There," and Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit," each reimagined with Lizzy Borden's unique flair.Packaged as part of Brutal Planet Records' Metal Icon Series, this edition includes an expanded 12-page booklet filled with lyrics, photos, and credits, housed in a jewel case. With only 500 copies pressed, it's a must-have for collectors and die-hard fans. For fans of Alice Cooper, W.A.S.P., King Diamond, Savatage, Judas Priest (Painkiller era), Queensrÿche, Kiss, Steeler, and Armored Saint!

From the midnight shadows to the blazing stage lights, Lizzy Borden has always thrived on spectacle and sound. The Best of Lizzy Borden, Vol. 2 captures that spirit in full force - 16 tracks from 2004-2018 that prove the band's ability to evolve while never losing their razor-edged theatrical fire. Vol. 2 picks up where 1994's Best of Lizzy' Borden leaves off, containing 12 tracks that showcase the Deal with the Devil (2000), Appointment with Death (2007) and My Midnight Things (2018) albums.Housed in a jewel case with an 8-page booklet of lyrics and photos, this release has been digitally remastered by Tom Baker (Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, Judas Priest, Stone Temple Pilots), with additional CD engineering by Rob Colwell.Exclusive to this edition are two cover songs - "Pet Sematary" (The Ramones) and "Burnin' For You" (Blue Öyster Cult) - making their first appearance on physical format, along with two rare Starwood tracks, "Won't Back Down" and "Subculture", originally from the album If It Ain't Broke, Break It (recently reissued on vinyl by Brutal Planet Records).More than a retrospective, this is a dramatic statement of Lizzy Borden's modern era. With exclusive material, a powerful remaster, and collector-grade packaging, this CD offers the definitive experience - but with only 1000 copies available, it won't stay in the shadows for long.TRACKSMy Midnight Things (from My Midnight Things, 2018)Long May They Haunt Us (from My Midnight Things, 2018)Tomorrow Never Comes (from Appointment With Death, 2007)Obsessed With You (from My Midnight Things, 2018)(This Ain't) The Summer of Love - originally by Blue Öyster Cult (from Deal With The Devil, 2008)Under Your Skin (from Appointment With Death, 2007)Lovin' You Is Murder (from Deal With The Devil, 2008)The Scar Across My Heart (from My Midnight Things, 2018)There Will Be Blood Tonight (from Deal With The Devil, 2008)We Only Come Out At Night (from Deal With The Devil, 2008)Abnormal (from Appointment With Death, 2007)Live Forever (from Appointment With Death, 2007)Won't Back Down (from Starwood - If It Ain't Broke, Break It, 2004)Subculture (from Starwood - If It Ain't Broke, Break It, 2004)Pet Sematary - originally by The Ramones (exclusive, first time on physical format)Burnin' For You - originally by Blue Öyster Cult (exclusive, first time on physical format)

After two co-headling tours over the past decade, (the) Melvins are continuing their long tradition with us of teaming up with another band on an album. Next up- Napalm Death! This isn't just some split release with the bands each getting a side. Savage Imperial Death March is a full collab with both Melvins & Napalm Death playing together on all 8 tracks.
This release originally came out in super limited CD and Vinyl via AmRepin 2025 (tour and AmRep store only). This will be an extended version with 2 extra songs, brand new artwork from Mackie Osborne, new vinyl variants, and will be the official release for the first time at record stores, DSPs and more. Napalm Death are credited as pioneers of the grindcore genre by incorporating elements of crust punk and death metal. Even after exerting an indelible influence in the entire world of. heavy music for nearly 40 years, there is still no band on Earth that sounds like Naplam Death. Not just pioneers, but an enduring benchmark for invention and fearlessness in a heavy and experimental music of all kinds, the Birmingham legends are still hurtling forward at full pelt.
The Melvins are one of modern music's most influential bands. Having formed in 1983, the group - founded by vocalist/guitarist Buzz Osborne, with drummer Dale Crover joining a year later - has been credited with merging the worlds of punk rock and heavy music, forming a new subgenre all their own. Over their 40-plus-year career, they've released more than 30 original albums, numerous live records, and far too many to count singles.

Mindless Sinner began as Purple Haze in 1981. They changed their name to Genocide after singer Christer Göransson joined the band later that year, and by August of 1983, the had reached their final moniker. They recorded a four-track demo entitled Master Of Evil, consisting of: the title track, "Broken Freedom," "Key Of Fortune," and "Screaming For Mercy". This attracted Swedish label Fingerprint Records, who released the NWOBHM-inspired material as a mini-album in January of 1984, but with an awful cover and a typo in the band name that incorrectly pluralized sinner. By then, the line-up of the band was Anders Karlsson (bass), Magnus Danneblad (guitar), Jerker Edman (guitar), Tommy Johansson (drums) and Christer Göransson (vocals). In addition to the four tracks of the original release, this High Roller Records reissue pressing also contains the five songs off the band's first demo tape from early 1983. All nine tracks were mastered by Patrick W. Engel at his Temple Of Disharmony and cutting was done by SST Germany on Neumann machines for maximum quality on all levels. This is the ultimate audiophile re-issue of this Swedish metal classic.

Moodring symbolizes transformation. The musical entity’s name hints at volatility—color, emotion, and temperature in flux. Nowhere is that more evident than in death fetish, a defining album for a haunting and defiant new chapter. For founder and frontman Hunter Young, this is more than a record. It’s survival, reflection, and metamorphosis. It is art made from the raw materials of pain, purpose, and persistence. Young conceived Moodring alone, in his bedroom, an exercise in catharsis through art. The resulting debut EP, 2021’s Showmetherealyou, resonated with a surprising number of diverse listeners. That connection inspired Moodring to evolve into a creative outlet that transcended its simple origins. Both sensual and suffocating, the Stargazer album followed in 2022. In a glowing review, Kerrang! praised the full-length as “hefty from the get-go” and likened it to “a cool wave of water lapping over you.” The album’s “vivacious” vocal work and vibe made new Moodring fans around the world. The following year’s EP, Your Light Fades Away, expanded the palette further, fusing ferocity, shimmering melody, and nü-metal groove into something equally cinematic and claustrophobic. The “black-velvet nu-metal melodies and bleak-booming breakdowns” (Revolver) of 2025’s “half-life” were, sadly, inspired by a life-changing medical diagnosis that left Young unable to tour with Moodring or his accomplished deathcore outfit, SharpTone Records labelmates PSYCHO-FRAME.
Unable to tour and unwilling to compromise, Young focused on writing and recording new music. death fetish is the sound of transcendence—an artist refusing to disappear, even as the light fades. For all its darkness, death fetish is not a surrender. It’s a reclamation. It’s Young taking back control of his narrative—body failing, mind racing, still creating, still here. “I just wanted to make a dark, honest record,” he says. “And if people don’t like it, I don’t really care. I had to do it for myself. ”Moodring, once a more traditional band, now exists as something far more elusive and infinite: a vessel for transformation, a mirror for mortality, and a living testament to pain and creation. *** Indie Exclusive ***UPC: 4065629753504Label: Sharptone RecordsRelease Date: 3.27.26Format: CD
With their eighth studio album "Seed of the Formless", THE MOON AND THE NIGHTSPIRIT have reached a crossroads on their ever changing path. A deliberate and significant sonic mutation has created a leap in their stylistic evolution. While the Hungarian duo's deep roots in ethereal folk remain audible, "Seed of the Formless" marks their conscious journey into the heavier realms of atmospheric post-metal. The Hungarians' embrace of electric guitars and vast synth soundscapes to channel what they describe as a more cosmic and visceral energy, as compared to the whispering of forest and meadows in their musical past, makes perfect sense at this stage of their sonic evolution. As THE MOON AND THE NIGHTSPIRIT navigate the space between shadow and luminescence, the parallel contrast between the acoustic and the electric as well as their subsequent amalgamation, they unlock the gates to a vast realm of new possibilities. There will always be those who oppose any change, but as true artists THE MOON AND THE NIGHTSPIRIT acted on their need to evolve further. The result is "Seed of the Formless", which is drawing from atmospheric post-metal and ambient, while the duo's soul remains intact: mystical, yearning, and eternally bound to the infinite!

Moonlight Haze and extraordinary vocalist Chiara Tricarico brought symphonic power metal to the next level throughout the tracklist of their fifth studio release, indulging in extremely mighty, epic and theatrical moments. Guided by striking instrumentals parts, catchy and epic melodies, and truly introspective lyrics, the EP once again proves the talent and boldness of the Italian unit. "Interstellar Madness" is an invitation to take on a journey through cosmic landscapes and beyond, led by a whirlwind of emotions - madness here is to be intended as a deeper and overwhelming way of experiencing reality, investigating and going beyond what lies on the surface of things in order to be able to discover hidden parts of the inner self.

'Monolitt' is an album that further expands the sonic & atmospheric depth of existing Mork releases; unafraid to challenge the listener, while steadfastly rooted in the cold traditions of the genre. With this uncompromising vision & direction for 'Monolitt', Mork delivers a sound which is brutal yet expansive, whilst also heavy & epic, for a relentless journey through the shadows of Norwegian Black Metal, while forging new paths within that ancient & revered framework. Monolitt' was recorded & performed primarily by Thomas Eriksen, with Asgeir Mickelson supplying drums, plus additional guest vocals coming from Oyvind Kaslegard of 'Svart Lotus'.
