In 1990, Pittsburgh's Eviction unleashed The World Is Hours Away - a volatile mix of thrash power and punk rebellion that instantly earned cult status among crossover metal fans. Fueled by blue-collar grit and raw conviction, the album captured a scene that valued energy over Polish and truth over trends. Brutal Planet Records now brings this underground classic back to life with a striking Nuclear Green Vinyl pressing, complete with a full-color 12? x 12? lyric and collage insert that celebrates Eviction's history and the Pittsburgh scene that forged them. It's a sonic time capsule of American thrash at it's most honest - loud, fast, and full of heart. From the relentless drive of "Listen" and "Drunken State" to the defiant anthem "American Way," every track oozes authenticity and attitude. For fans who live at the intersection of punk ferocity and metal precision - where Suicidal Tendencies, D.R.I., and C.O.C. collide - this is the definitive way to experience The World Is Hours Away.

A Forest of Stars are the physical manifestation of what can confidentially be called 'British Black Metal'. "Stack Overflow in Corpse Pile Interface", the grandiose sixth full-length by the band from West Yorkshire is the sonic expression of this distinct and discernible local variant of the genre. "Stack Overflow in Corpse Pile Interface" sends it's tendril-like roots deep into British musical soil. In his recitative mode, vocalist Curse is even reminiscent of electro poet Anne Clark - after a steady diet of prescription drugs and rusty nails. Another sonic pillar on which "Stack Overflow in Corpse Pile Interface" stands, is the violin of Katheryne aka Queen of the Ghosts. Her melodies time and time again build beautiful bridges over the dissonant churning of electric guitars as the latter gloriously luxuriate in the chaos they create. On the harsh side of their unique sound, A Forest of Stars make use of the full spectrum that both classic heavy and black metal have to offer - with deadly and progressive moments meticulously slotted into all the right places. Connoisseurs of the black arts will not fail to notice that the collective from Leeds beg to differ from traditional Norse berserkir in the wake of MAYHEM, as well as contemporary compatriots such as WINTERFYLLETH. A Forest of Stars have used their temporary hiatus well to craft a collection of excellent songs. In their quest for perfection, they even discarded an entire finished album and started again from scratch. "Stack Overflow in Corpse Pile Interface" is undoubtedly pure A Forest of Stars: complex, catchy, contradictory - and completely individualistic. Welcome to British Black Metal!

"NoLifeTilMetal Records and Gammacide are teaming up to re-release the original Texas thrash metal masterpiece Victims of Science on strictly limited edition vinyl and CD.Gammacide is an aggressive thrash metal band with a very short but powerful history. When Texas metal pioneers Warlock disbanded in 1985, guitarist Rick Perry and Eric Roy formed thrash band Gammacide. Joined by drummer Jamey Milford and vocalist Varnam Ponville, Gammacide released a 5-song demo in 1987 which made the band a cult favorite amongst the metal fanzine and tape traders of the time. Scott Shelby joined in 1988 as a second guitarist, thus doubling the bands crushing guitar assault. In the summer of 1989 entered Sound Logic Studios in Dallas to record their debut Victims of Science, which was released in early 1990 on Wild Rags Records, becoming one of the label's bestselling records.Gammacide recorded a 4-song demo in 1991 but by 1992 the band folded. In the late 90's and early 2000's the internet gave new exposure to Gammacide and created interest in Texas metal's most intense thrash experience. After many years of inactivity, Victims Of Science album was reissued on CD in 2005, and the band briefly reunited for a Texas tour to commemorate "20 Years of Toxic Metal." The following year, Perry and Shelby joined forces with Rigor Mortis vocalist Bruce Corbitt and formed Texas Metal Alliance, which was eventually renamed Warbeast and recorded their debut CD Krush The Enemy for Phil Anselmo's Housecore Records. Perry also plays guitar in Texas Heavy Metal band Iron Jaw (also available on NoLifeTilMetal Records). In 2025, Gammacide reformed and once again spread the toxic Texas thrash throughout the underground on a U.S. tour. The band is headed back out on another U.S. tour in the Summer of 2026 and working on a new album. To coincide with the tour, NoLifeTilMetal Records and Gammacide have teamed up to re-release the original thrash metal masterpiece Victims of Science on limited edition Toxic Neon Green vinyl and Collector's Edition CD with six bonus tracks. The vinyl will include a 4-panel insert with a 24x12 collage poster. Only 200 copies will be pressed to vinyl. The CD release limited to 500 copies will include a 16-page booklet packed full of photos and memorabilia and will also include the 1991 and 2005 demos as bonus tracks. With their fourth full-length album Signal Fire, GENGHIS TRON awaken us from the post-apocalyptic daydreams of their previous work with a violent—and most welcome—shove. This time, the distant-future reveries we first heard on Board Up The House give way to an unsettling awareness of the present we’re actually living, as our circumstances grow too pressing to try and escape.
“Signal Fire envisions a Kojima-esque dystopia of endless proxy warfare,” says vocalist and lyricist Tony Wolski (The Armed), “where the deluge of available information has outmoded the human ability to parse it. A world where those amoral, shameless and cunning enough can literally reshape reality at their whim through sheer insistence."
Having roared onto the scene in 2004 with a uniquely demented blend of extreme metal, synthesizer textures, and drum-machine madness, GENGHIS TRON are no strangers to making a forceful impression. But Signal Fire marks the first time bandleaders Michael Sochynsky and Hamilton Jordan –joined again by Wolski and Nick Yacyshyn (SUMAC) on drums, plus newcomer Kenny Szymanski (The Armed) on bass–has captured this level of urgency with such visceral precision. “This album is very much rooted in the now,” confirms Jordan.
Album opener “I Am All” sets the table with a chest-throbbing synth pulse as Wolski declares “I’m on a tear, I’m on a tear,” over swirling industrial rhythms and creeping synthlines. “Nothing Blooms in the Hollow” grafts desert-rock swagger onto interlocking layers of dizzying riffs and chants before Wolski steers the band into full-on sonic burnout, like a spaceship careening into the sun. “Born Prey” navigates deftly through Genghis Tron’s classic sonic touchpoints: furious blastbeats, electronic breaks, haunting vocal earworms, and a towering synth-pop crescendo. Meditative interludes like “Like Fotocrom” and “Without Form” deliver shimmering, ominous beauty. And “New Gods” invokes Rabies-era Skinny Puppy to bring the album to a bludgeoning, anthemic finale, as Wolski screams on repeat: “New gods to bleed me out / No new peace / Bleed me out / I love it.”
Twenty years into their career, having proven their ability to forge common ground between Ministry and Aphex Twin, between Brutal Truth and Boards Of Canada, between Cluster and Converge, ugly-beautiful new genre hybrids from GENGHIS TRON no longer come as a surprise. What’s remarkable, however, is how Sochynsky and Jordan have taken a project that started in 2004 as a dorm-room genre-pastiche experiment —”a chaotic, wild amalgamation of all our favorite stuff, literally slammed together,” says Jordan—and refined their songwriting craft to deliver a sound that is unmistakably their own.

Genre Is Death is an uncompromising noise duo made up of Ty V (guitar, vox) and Tayler Lee (bass, vox). Their sound is abrasive yet melodic, using heavy distortion, dissonant riffs, and reverberating vocals to create a wave of boldly hypnotic noise. The duo have been compared to the likes of Sonic Youth and Teenage Jesus and the Jerks, yet have managed to create a sound that is distinctly their own, avoiding mimicking the zeitgeist of decades before. Beyond the integrity of their music, Tayler's intimidating glare, or Ty's staggering gait, the duo share something truly inimitable- the overwhelming feeling that their music is a byproduct of the high esteem they hold of each other. The duo moved to NYC in August of 2023 looking for something more than their mundane suburban lifestyle of day drinking and playing doom metal in friends' basements... their move to NYC coupled with their desire to express something, anything, led to the inception of Genre is Death. The pair hit the ground running, playing anywhere and everywhere they could... however, it was only after a chance encounter with 80s noise forerunners Live Skull that the pair was introduced to the strange underbelly of NYC noise and began playing regular gigs with The Art Gray Noizz Quintet and Lydia Lunch. In 2025 the pair played New Colossus Festival, toured with Gogol Bordello, embarked on their first East Coast tour, and played gigs with Cherubs, Bush Tetras, and Jon Spencer. Their upcoming record was recorded with legendary sound engineer Martin Bisi (Sonic Youth, Swans). UPC: 769152436913Label: In The Red RecordsRelease Date: 5.29.26Format: Vinyl

Vinyl LP pressing. Streetcleaner is the debut studio album by industrial metal band Godflesh. It was originally released in 989. The album is widely acclaimed by critics and is often cited as a landmark release in industrial metal; though not the genre's first release, Streetcleaner helped define what industrial metal would become. Recorded in three distinct sessions and partially refined from pre-Godflesh demos, Streetcleaner is a weighty, bleak album that blends heavy metal with industrial music by means of production-emphasized bass, distorted guitar and, most importantly, machine percussion. Unlike many metal albums, guitar is employed to create screeching noise rather than discrete riffs, and the drums and bass are louder than is typical. With their third album Projections, UK doom metal juggernaut Godthrymm have completed their Visions Trilogy begun with 2020's their Reflections debut album and followed with 2023's acclaimed Distortions. During the band's discourse since the release of Reflections, Godthrymm have been recognized as the new emerging band from the UK to bring back the glorious aura of early-mid '90s UK doom metal, most notably formulated by the Peaceville Three (My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Anathema). As expected, considering the band was formed and helmed by UK doom metal veteran Hamish Glencross (ex-My Dying Bride / Vallenfyre / Solstice) and features doom metal drummer extraordinaire Shaun Taylor-Steels (ex-My Dying Bride / Anathema / Solstice). So in this sense, the classic UK doom metal DNA has already been implemented within their sonic fabric. Projections sees Godthrymm continue to develop and broaden their sound even further, building upon the cornerstones of Distortions. Now with an expanded lineup which includes keyboardist co-vocalist Catherine Glencross, bassist Bob Crolla and new second guitarist Kris McLaughin, Projections is their most layered, varied and complex release yet, all while still upholding the colossal emotionally charged heavy doom backbone that has defined the core of the band's sound. Over the years, Gorrch carved their niche in the Italian underground with a singular, uncompromising vision of black metal. Hailing from Northeastern Italy, Gorrch formed in 2010 as a duo composed of brothers Droich (guitars, bass) and Chimsicrin (drums, vocals, keyboards). Over the years, Gorrch carved their niche in the Italian underground with a singular, uncompromising vision of black metal - from the feral intensity of their 2013 self-titled EP and the 2015 full-length Nera Estasi, to the more experimental, dissonant, and atmospheric textures of their 2020 EP Introvertere. Rare live performances and an aura of mystery - not least the vocal-masked front presence of Chimsicrin - have helped Gorrch build a cult following among the followers of extreme, chaotic black metal. Stillamentum marks Gorrch's long-awaited return, as well as the first collaboration between the duo and Avantgarde Music. Stillamentum is a full-length album steeped in claustrophobic intensity, dissonant chord structures, and relentless sonic tension. From punishing tremolo riffs and blasting drumming to cavernous production that evokes suffocating atmospheres, the record channels the band's obsession with sound as ritual and catharsis. Gorrch push further into darkness with an unwavering commitment to raw emotion and existential dread, crafting a labyrinth of shadows and pain.

GRAB offer both, continuity and change, on their sophomore full-length "Kremess". The Bavarian black metal project founded by vocalist Grà nt continues to revolve lyrically around tales and traditions narrated in the local dialect of Germany's southernmost Alpine state: Bavaria. "Kremess" means 'funeral feast' in that language and death plays a leading role on this album. Musically, GRAB still feature a prominent traditional instrument of their region, the hammered dulcimer. This gets combined with particularly Norwegian strands of black metal such as early GEHENNA, ULVER, and DARKTHRONE as well as taking inspiration from German pioneers of the genre namely NAGELFAR and LUNAR AURORA. Adding to the local sonic colours are many fresh ideas and sounds that came with English guitarist Gnà st, who has replaced previous main songwriter Grain in the meantime. A host of guest musicians including members of EMPYRIUM, TRIPTYKON, and DARK FORTRESS among others has further enhanced the musical spectrum. GRAB, meaning "old and grey" in the local dialect, were conceived by former DARK FORTRESS frontman Grà nt who wanted to bring a particularly Bavarian expression to black metal. The earlier collaboration between Grà nt and guitarist Grain resulted in the release of the debut full-length "Zeitlang" in 2021, which channelled the black metal spirit of the early 90s much to the delight of both critics and fans. With "Kremess", GRAB are infusing Bavarian black metal with new power that is bound to expand their growing empire far beyond the borders of their homeland.
