Controlling chaos by hand, Currents balance invention and innate intensity on their new EP "All That Follows". Especially strong, the quintet's closing track "Rise & Fall" revolves around propulsive drums, a riff call-and-response and a hook that holds onto the vestiges of a crumbling institution before asking a final query: How will this end? With sold out shows and 100M streams, for Currents, the only answer is upwards. UPC: 4065629759216Label: Sharptone RecordsRelease Date: 3.27.26Format: Vinyl

In a year which marks the 40th anniversary since the initial formation - under the moniker of Black Death - of what would subsequently grow into influential genre legends, 2026 marks the return of the imperishable Norwegian duo of Fenriz & Nocturno Culto for their new opus of high caliber old metal, under the banner of ‘Pre-Historic Metal’. As Fenriz himself proclaims of the title’s symbolic origin, “Prehistoric is a loose term. I just figure it’s our VIBE, our take on things & it’s more a statement that we use old style to create something new”. ‘Pre-Historic Metal’ contains eight tracks of primal epics & gargantuan riffs with organic sound & the ever-present permeating spirit of the 70’s & 80’s, for a new continuation of the mastery witnessed on 2024’s ‘It Beckons Us All’. This next chapter in Darkthrone’s extensive & ongoing catalogue presents a vast odyssey through the sonic landscapes of Thrash, Black, Heavy & Doom Metal &, adorned with a punishing & “in your face” guitar presence, Darkthrone stirs the cauldron of savage creativity with a nod to the writing methods which were indicative of their earlier works of the late 80’s, but with a more refined craft. 'Pre-Historic Metal' was recorded at Chaka Khan Studios, Oslo, with production work conducted by Ole Øvstedal, Silje Høgevold & Mads Luis. Mastering was carried out by Jack Control at Enormous Door, & Maor Appelbaum Mastering. • the album cover for Deicide - Insineratehymn [Colored Vinyl]

Alliance Entertainment Deicide - Insineratehymn (LP, Colored) (New (N))

Real Gone continues it's Dante-esque descent through the Deicide back catalog with an another vinyl debut... except this time, it's not just an American vinyl debut. Yes, 2000's Insineratehymn is legitimately coming out on vinyl as a stand-alone release for the first time anywhere in the world. The tempos may have slowed a tad (only a tad), but the musicianship is still staggering if less "technical" and the message ever more uncompromising, even if that is a hint of melodicism on the fan favorite "Bible Basher." Remastered for vinyl and pressed on "Hellfire" smoke vinyl, complete with insert featuring the incendiary lyrics you'd expect. Alliance Entertainment Deicide - Once Upon The Cross (Remastered) (LP, Milky Clear) (New (N))

    Out of stock

From the cover art to the lyrics, death metal legends Deicide didn't give an inch when it came to their uncompromising anti-church stance on their 1995 release Once Upon the Cross. In fact, the album included samples from the film The Last Temptation of Christ, which was itself accused of blasphemy. But the band was hardly standing still, as the gobsmacking guitar pyrotechnics of Eric and Brian Hoffman and furious fusillades of bassist/vocalist Glen Benton and drummer Steve Asheim became ever more awe-inspiring and, dare we say it, miraculous. For it's first widespread U.S. vinyl release, we are giving Once Upon the Cross a milky clear with blood splatter pressing remastered for the format, complete with printed inner sleeve featuring lyrics. • the album cover for Devil Wears Prada - 8:18 [Blue]

Alliance Entertainment Devil Wears Prada - 8:18 (LP, Blue) (New (N))

The Devil Wears Pradaas 2013 album 8:18 once again pulled off the neat trick of topping the Pop (#6), Metal (#2), and Christian (#1) charts (the title itself is a reference to the Bible verse Romans 8:18, which says that our present-day suffering pales next to the glory that is to come). Which kinda sums up TDWPas appeal: what other band can shift so seamlessly from moments of visceral madness to spells of spiritual grace? 8:18 marked the swan song for founding band members Chris Rubey and Daniel Williams, and they certainly went out in style; the addition of some hardcore punk (aoBlack & Blue, a? aoNumber Elevena?) and straight metal (aoRumorsa?) ingredients to TDWPas melodic metalcore cauldron makes for a heady brew indeed. This sea blue pressing comes inside a gatefold with beautifully austere artwork plus an insert. A real artistic statement on every level. • the album cover for Dimmu Borgir - Grand Serpent Rising [Dark Green]

Alliance Entertainment Dimmu Borgir - Grand Serpent Rising (LP, Dark Green) (New (N))

Eight years after their previous studio release Eonian, Dimmu Borgir return with thirteen punishing yet remarkably diverse tracks under the banner Grand Serpent Rising and even the sheer weight of the album title alone speaks volumes.”It fits perfectly,” Silenoz nods. ”Dimmu Borgir is a leviathan of a band on a grand scale and we are rising once again. While the serpent represents evil to some, for us it symbolizes something else: renewal, growth, knowledge, and liberation. Shedding our skin, so to speak. And let’s not forget that February 2026 marks the end of the Year of the Snake, roughly the same moment this album was completed.”Once you descend into the treacherous journey charted by this Norwegian serpent, Silenoz’s words are immediately vindicated. Following the ominous intro ‘Tridentium,’ the opening track ‘Ascent’ strikes like lightning across a frozen, darkened northern sky. Aggressive, vicious, and twistedly beautiful, it instantly confirms that Dimmu Borgir have lost none of their intensity, menace, or authenticity. And the momentum never falters. Across nearly an hour of music, Grand Serpent Rising maintains an iron grip: it is a majestic and powerful statement that sounds like a band possessed by the feral energy of the early ’90s Norwegian black metal underground, while simultaneously wielding the compositional discipline and hard-earned wisdom forged through more than three decades of relentless creation. Swedish gothic doom entity DRACONIAN is finally back! Their new studio album, In Somnolent Ruin, will creep its way from the artist’s spirit into the light of day on May 8, 2026 via Napalm Records. This promises to be one of the most personal records in the band’s discography, revealed through a dreamlike journey across nine tracks and the poetic lyricism of vocalist Anders Jacobsson. As a recurring theme, DRACONIAN explore Plato’s theory of the soul – an element that was not planned from the very beginning, but instead emerged organically during the creation. In 2022, the band announced the return of vocalist Lisa Johansson. Johansson had been the band’s vocalist for their first five records before leaving DRACONIAN in 2011 for personal reasons. Founded by Frank Bornemann at the end of the 1960s, ELOY has released a total of 20 studio albums. Their breakthrough came in the mid-seventies, mostly with spectacular concept albums, which sold more and more worldwide. The breakthrough for ELOY came in the mid-seventies, mostly with spectacular concept albums that were sold worldwide, increasingly. This was not only rewarded with numerous high chart positions in Germany, honored with many awards but also brought Eloy a lot of international attention and a considerable fan base, which still exists and is constantly growing. When a fan club recently came up with the idea of bundling their own favorites from the band's extensive repertoire and producing their own compilations, we had the idea of offering this officially and releasing ELOY's highlights from different eras of the band's history on vinyl, too. We had Frank Bornemann and sound engineer Benjamin Schäfer edit the sound in such a way that they fit together perfectly and offer the listener a very individual listening experience. This is how "Hidden Treasures" came into being, offering ELOY fans a sound and song combination that has never been heard before. Alliance Entertainment Dry Kill Logic - Darker Side Of Nonsense - 25th Anniversary Edition (LP) (New (N))

Dry Kill Logic got lumped in with the "nu-metal" movement of the early 'Oughts but their 2001 debut The Darker Side of Nonsense wields a brutal sonic bludgeon of singular power. In fact, even Roadrunner, a label not known for pandering to popular taste, asked the band for a more commercial sound on it's projected follow-up, which led to Dry Kill Logic's leaving for pastures less dedicated to green. Indeed, vocalist Cliff Rigano's lyrics give no quarter: "What goes around comes around/Once lost now I am found/All of this hatred I focus on you." On the 25th anniversary of it's original release, we've remastered The Darker Side of Nonsense for it's vinyl debut, and faithfully re-created the beautifully grotesque artwork with a jacket and color inner sleeve. • the album cover for Elder - Through Zero

Alliance Entertainment Elder - Through Zero (LP) (New (N))

    Out of stock

Double vinyl LP pressing. Two decades into their existence, Elder remain an anomaly in the heavy underground - a band with the ability to absorb and shed influences from a myriad of genres without falling into pastiche or losing their identity. New album Through Zero is a reaffirmation of their commitment to pushing boundaries and cements their status as leaders in heavy psychedelic rock. Elder has long since mastered crushing riffs, melodic jaunts, progressive patterns, hypnotic grooves and ethereal atmospherics. Recorded in Berlin between tours in 2025, Through Zero is possibly their most immediate and engaging record to date, allowing seeds from outside the sphere of rock music to take root and bloom within their progressive framework. Listeners will find new textures, sequences and sounds woven into Elder's endlessly bombastic take on heavy rock. Elder was formed in a small coastal town in Massachusetts around 2006 by three longtime friends with a passion for downtuned heavy music. Over the years, the band has gained a guitarist, lost a drummer, relocated (mostly) from the United States to Germany, played hundreds of shows from small clubs to arenas across the world and released six full-length albums, four EPs and two live records. "Through Zero" is a term borrowed from music engineering, which describes the property of a frequency being able to pass through the zero point and continue into the negative. While not a concept rooted in philosophy, it resonates on an existential level: the zero point is not an end, but a midpoint along a mostly unseeable path where the journey is the destination and reality is less linear than most of us understand. Even though the New Wave of British Heavy Metal was already history by the time Elixir released The Son Of Odin in 1986, the album is still considered one of the best albums of the movement. Elixir started out in London in 1983. In 1985, they released their debut single "Treachery (Ride Like The Wind)," which was endorsed in Kerrang! By none other than Ronnie James Dio in a guest column, spurring the band to tackle their first album. The result was The Son Of Odin. Rave reviews followed almost everywhere, not least in Metal Forces, where Dave Constable stated: "A self-financed LP that eclipses many a major label release." The 40th Anniversary Edition of this immortal classic includes, in addition to the regular album, the complete session from which the "Treachery (Ride Like The Wind)" single was taken, as well as the previous demo and the BBC Friday Rock Show session. In addition, recent interviews with guitarist Phil Denton and manager Seymour Mincer tell the story of the album.
