The story of one of metal's most talented power trios begins with a band called Diamond. Before bassist Ron Royce (Ron Broder) and guitarist Tommy T. Baron (Tommy Vetterli) formed Coroner, they played in a traditional hard rock outfit by that name. After only three gigs or so, Ron and Tommy decided to leave because they wanted to start their own band. Thus, Coroner as we know them today was born.
