Acclaimed Blues Rock guitarist Anthony Gomes will release his 13th studio album entitled, "High Voltage Blues" on Friday September 23, 2022 via Rat Pak Records. Coming off the heels of his highly successful 2020 #1 Billboard charting release, "Containment Blues", High Voltage Blues is a compilation album that showcases three new studio tracks, along with eleven re-recorded fan favorites and features guest appearances by legendary bassist Billy Sheehan, KoRn drummer Ray Luzier, renown vocalist Bekka Bramlett and The VoiceT contestant Wendy Moten. "We had a lot of fun rocking these songs up" says Anthony. "As an artist, it was great to circle back to some of my past work and look at it from a different perspective. Billy and Ray really pushed the way I play guitar and they added a whole new element, with a little insanity", he laughs. When people ask me what I sound like I tell them, "If B.B. King was in AC/DC, that's what I feel we try and capture. That's High Voltage Blues in a nutshell." From the charging rhythms of album opener "Painted Horse" to the heart wrenching classic "Darkest Before The Dawn", it is clear that Anthony's trademark blues guitar playing lays the bedrock for his latest solo offering. Produced by Peter Carson and mixed by Chris Collier, High Voltage Blues delivers all the power and punch that one would expect from this high-level blues artist.

Acclaimed Blues Rock guitarist and vocalist Anthony Gomes is back with his much-anticipated 14th studio album, Praise the Loud, set for release on Friday, April 25, 2025, via Rat Pak Records. Following the success of his 2022 #1 Billboard-charting album High Voltage Blues, Praise the Loud delivers 12 fresh studio tracks that showcase Anthony's musical evolution while staying true to the no-holds-barred sound that has earned him a global fanbase.Reflecting on the new album, Anthony shares, "On Praise the Loud, we pushed our musical boundaries in every direction. We wanted it to rock harder than anything we've done before, but at the same time, we wanted it to have a deeper, more soulful blues feel. My favorite line on the album comes from the song 'Rock & Roll Bluesman': 'I don't care if they love or hate us, gonna turn it up so they won't forget us.' That line captures the spirit of the album-declaring that we're playing blues rock on our own terms, no matter what."From the powerful rhythms of the album opener "Praise the Loud" to the ZZ Top-inspired groove of "Netflix & Chill, " Anthony tackles a range of emotions and topics with his signature blend of layered harmonies, infectious rhythms, and blues-infused grooves. Tracks like "Meet My Maker, " "Black Diamond Heavy, " and "Electric Blues Crusade" highlight his ability to stretch his creative boundaries and expand his lyrical scope, while songs like "Love Song Gone Wrong" and "In the Name of the Blues" showcase his unmistakable blues guitar mastery. Produced by Peter Carson/Anthony Gomes and mixed by Chris Collier, Praise the Loud packs all the punch and energy fans have come to expect from this world-class blues artist.

Eric Gales' time is now. A rule-breaking, genre-fusing force of nature, hailed by giants like Joe Bonamassa, Dave Navarro and Mark Tremonti as one of the best guitarists on the planet, you'll find the Memphis blues-rocker's thumbprint on everything from his Grammy-nominated solo catalogue to the soundtrack of director Ryan Coogler's smash-hit horror movie, Sinners. But while Gales' latest release, Tribute To LJK, is a thrillingly modern record for the here-and-now, it's also a nod to his bloodline and the roots of his family tree. "I wanted it to be the ultimate tribute to my late brother, Little Jimmy King, to keep his memory alive and make sure people remember who he was and still is," says Gales. "I wanted to deliver his tunes to the world, through my eyes. And I wanted it to be badass - and that's exactly how it turned out."

AMERICAN BLUES POP ROCK ROOTS MUSICIAN " "I was so happy to hear the latest new music from Matthew Curry. I've always really admired Mathew's music, ever since he, and his band began playing shows with us, maybe 6, or 7 years ago. The audience loved his well crafted songs, soaring guitar solos, and soulful singing. We were part of that audience. He is the real deal. His most recent album, 'Open Road', is further proof that Matthew Is continuing to hone his formidable chops. Mathew rips it up on the title track, which reminds me of a Delaney & Bonnie style Eric Clapton tune, and I say this with admiration, since that is one of my favorite Clapton eras. 'On My Way', is just great rointuneck 'n roll, in sort of a Skynyrd vein. 'I Think Of You', a beautiful ballad of lost love, and hope. Then there is some extreme angst in 'Workin' It Out'. A really interesting production, and once again, some killer guitar playing, and amazing vocals. Every song on the album has something special that sets it apart, and makes this a complete package. I've listened to all the songs several times, and I continue to hear things I hadn't noticed before. There's so much great music on this recording. I can't recommend it enough. Check it out, I know you'll feel the same!"- Pat Simmons (The Doobie Brothers)

Mick has been turning out blues records for several years and with each one he's learned a little more about what to do and what not to do. During that time his life has also presented him with many challenges - and opportunities. Drawing on that, Mick has come up with this one, flavored with personal tragedy and triumph, with dashes of humor and pain - that's kind of what Mick does! The album title, Blue To The Bone, is what Blues Blast Magazine said about him. For this album Mick assembled his favorite team of musicians, beginning with producer and guitarist Jeff Jensen, teamed with a solid group of Memphis based musicians: James Cunningham, Bill Ruffino, Rick Steff, Tom Lonardo, Carl Casperson, Eric Hughes, Marc Franklin and Kirk Smothers. Joining them was harmonica ace Bob Corritore on a very special song. The album opens with "This Getting Old is Getting Old," Mick's song about the misery of aging, followed by "Bourbon and You," which deals with missing a lover. Mick's love of blues poured itself into the next song, "All it Takes is Blues.' "For Better or For Worse" is Mick's song that follows up on his most played song (literally millions of streams) "Baby's Got Another Lover," which Mick wrote about his wife's addiction to alcohol, this new song covers the final few months of her life - it isn't intended to make you smile. With "Something to Look Forward To" Mick returns to the subject of aging and continues with that theme in the song "I'd Like To Be Recycled. The humor of this tune is followed by the humor of Mick's versions of an obscure country song "If My Nose Was Running Money" Mick re-imagined his previously released song "Mr. Right" as well as the classic Merle Travis song "16 Tons." The album closes with Mick's "Please Don't Write That Song," which kind of speaks for itself!

Thegroup's pursuit of funky, bluesy paths carved by rolling bass lines, stacked horns, buttoned-up rhythms, and harmonica blasts almostmakes that decision unthinkable.Sourced from the original analog master tapes and housed in amini-LP-style gatefold package, Mobile Fidelity's hybrid SACDmakes Keep on Moving available in audiophile quality. JOHN CAMPBELL - 2 METER SESSIONS - NEW SHOT RECORDSA new album by John Campbell, 27 years after his last one and 33 years after his untimely passing in 1993. The much sought after "2 meter sessions" by such an influential American blues guitarist / singer and songwriter, renowned for his distinctive rhythm and slide-heavy style, finally sees the light of the day. John Campbell was a genius, an innovator, a one of a kind blues sensation. He plays vintage Gibson and National guitars, moreover he plays like no one, and no one can play like him. Powerful vocals and fiery guitar playing; John Campbell had the potential of turning a whole new generation of people onto the blues in the 90s, much the same way Stevie Ray Vaughan did in the 80s. All of that con be heard in this "2 meter Sessions" release, in spectacular sound. A monster album to be savored and treasured for a long, long time.
