Bruce Hornsby’s newest album, Indigo Park, is a concept album of sorts, an extended multi-dimensional inquiry into the nature of aging and memory, often with a lightness of tone – the ways certain scenes linger placidly while others balloon into imagined catastrophe, the ways we remember and the ways we forget. Throughout, Hornsby contemplates moments from his deep past, sometimes trying to “resolve” them, other times looking for clues about his present-day outlook.“It's just an old bastard looking back, while hopefully pushing forward to adventurous and new musical & lyrical areas,” Hornsby says of his new songs, with a smile of characteristic self-deprecation. “To be honest, I've found a way, a path to….grow old gracefully, with help from some newborn friends of mine.”The album is produced by Tony Berg, Will Maclellan and Bruce Hornsby with contributions from friends including Bob Weir, Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend, Bonnie Raitt, Blake Mills & more. Two of the albums ten songs were co-written with the late Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter.

MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST, PRODUCER & THE PINEAPPLE THIEF FRONTMAN BRUCE SOORD RETURNS WITH POWERFUL NEW SOLO ALBUM CLASSIC BLACK VINYL LP EDITIONAs founding member & principal songwriter of The Pineapple Thief, Bruce Soord has spent the last decade steadily refining a voice that balances emotional directness with musical restraint. ‘Ghosts In The Park’, his latest solo album, is his most personal & unguarded work to date: a record shaped by loss, memory, & the quiet spaces that reveal themselves when life continues to move while everything else appears to stop.Written over a two-year period while Soord was touring extensively with The Pineapple Thief, the album emerged in hotel rooms, unfamiliar cities, & moments of enforced solitude. Against this backdrop, Soord was navigating the drawn-out decline & eventual death of his father, alongside the continued progression of his mother’s Alzheimer’s. These experiences form the emotional spine of ‘Ghosts In The Park’ - grief in motion, memory surfacing unpredictably, & the quiet determination to keep moving forward.Acoustic guitar sits at the centre of the record, often captured in raw, first-take performances recorded directly in hotel rooms before being carefully integrated with studio recordings. This tension between fragility & control defines the album’s sound. Tracks such as “Concepción,†“Meet Me On The Downs,†& the title piece were conceived in specific places - Chile, Hamburg, Oberhausen - each location leaving a subtle imprint on the music. Parks, harbours, & anonymous rooms become recurring settings where past & present coexist, intersected by fleeting moments of clarity amongst the disorder.Performed almost entirely by Soord himself, with bass contributions from Jon Sykes on “Kept Me Thinking,†the album was recorded using a combination of hotel-room captures & studio sessions, preserving the immediacy of its origins. Mastered by Steve Kitch, ‘Ghosts In The Park’ stands as a stark, reflective & evolutionary companion piece to Soord’s acclaimed previous solo work.

Digitally remastered edition. Born in the U.S.A. is the seventh studio album by American rock singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen, released on June 4, 1984. A critical and commercial success, it found Springsteen marking a departure in his sound. While it's predecessor, the dark and acoustic Nebraska, featured songs of pessimism and isolation, Born in the U.S.A.'s lyrics expressed signs of hope in the daily fight of the ordinary American in following the American Dream, a new feeling complemented by synthesized arrangements and a pop-flavored, radio-oriented sound that helped Springsteen to extend his popularity and appeal to mainstream audiences. The album was supported by an enormous commercial campaign that helped create several hit singles, as well as remixes and music videos. Born in the U.S.A. was the best-selling album of 1985 in the United States (and also Springsteen's most successful album ever), selling 15 million copies in the U.S alone, and 30 million worldwide. The album produced a record-tying string of seven Top 10 singles (tied with Michael Jackson's Thriller and Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814) and also a worldwide concert tour (the two-year Born in the U.S.A. Tour) that was a success. The album was lauded by most critics and is often considered one of Springsteen's finest albums (Rolling Stone magazine rated it the 86th-greatest album of all time, his second on the list) along with his 1975 breakthrough, Born to Run. The scathing condemnation of the title track is often misinterpreted as a patriotic anthem as a result of the repeating chorus.

Heavyweight 180 gm vinyl LP repressing - in gatefold sleeve - of this album from the rock superstar housed in a faithfully recreated LP sleeve containing all the elements of the original release. Born to Run is the third studio album by the American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen. It was released on August 25, 1975 through Columbia Records. Representing Springsteen's effort to break into the mainstream, Born to Run was a critical and commercial success. It peaked at number three on the Billboard 200, eventually selling six million copies in the US by the year 2000. Two singles were released from the album: "Born to Run" and "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out"; the first helped Springsteen to reach mainstream popularity. The tracks "Thunder Road" and "Jungleland" became staples of album-oriented rock radio and Springsteen concert high points. Born to Run garnered widespread critical acclaim. Praise centered on it's production quality and Springsteen's songwriting, which focuses on the coming of age of average teenagers and young adults in New Jersey and New York City.Track List

Darkness on the Edge of Town is the fourth studio album by Bruce Springsteen, released in the late spring of 1978. The album marked the end of a three-year gap between albums brought on by contractual obligations and legal battling with former manager Mike Appel. Although the album did not produce high-charting singles it nevertheless remained on the charts for 97 weeks. A steady seller in Springsteen's catalogue, it has been certified triple-platinum by the RIAA. Although slightly less enthusiastic than those for Springsteen's previous album Born to Run, reviews for Darkness on the Edge of Town were unanimously positive. Critics notably praised the maturity of the album's themes and lyrics. It remains one of Springsteen's most highly regarded records by both fans and critics and several of its songs have become staples of the singer's live performances. In September 2010 a documentary film chronicling the making of Darkness was first shown at the Toronto International Film Festival. Quoting Springsteen as saying "More than rich, more than famous, more than happy - I wanted to be great", reviewer Stephen Whitty of the Newark Star-Ledger commented: "For many fans, that long journey pulled onto the Turnpike here." Rolling Stone Magazine ranked it at 150 on their list of the greatest albums of all time.Track List

Digitally remastered edition. Nebraska is the sixth studio album by Bruce Springsteen. The album was released on September 30, 1982, by Columbia Records. Sparsely-recorded on a cassette-tape Portastudio, the tracks on Nebraska were originally intended as demos of songs to be recorded with the E Street Band. However, Springsteen ultimately decided to release the demos himself. Nebraska remains one of the most highly regarded albums in his catalogue. The songs on Nebraska both deal with ordinary, blue collar characters who face a challenge or a turning point in their lives, but also outsiders, criminals and mass murderers, who have little hope for the future - or no future at all, as in the title track, where the main character is sentenced to death in the electric chair. Unlike his previous albums, very little salvation and grace is present within the songs. The album's uncompromising sound and mood, combined with it's dark lyrical content has been described by a music critic as "one of the most challenging albums ever released by a major star on a major record label."

With the story behind Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska set to be explored by the feature film Deliver Me From Nowhere, Nebraska ’82: Expanded Edition (4 LPs + 1 Blu-Ray) gathers revelatory unheard material from this prolific period including the fabled Electric Nebraska sessions with the E Street Band and solo home and studio recordings, joined by a 2025 remaster of the original album, plus a new performance film of all ten Nebraska songs played in sequence. Springsteen’s 1982 acoustic masterwork is augmented by 17 contemporary recordings (15 previously unreleased) that were part of the groundswell of inspiration that shaped Nebraska and share its haunting themes. Together, they expand our understanding of how this seminal album came to be and reflect the breadth of Springsteen’s creative intentions at a pivotal moment in his artistic development.

Digitally remastered edition. The River is the fifth studio album, and the first double album by Bruce Springsteen. The album was released on October 17, 1980. Rolling Stone ranked it at number 253 on their list of the greatest albums of all time. The sources of The River go back into earlier parts of Springsteen's recording career. "Independence Day", "Point Blank", "The Ties That Bind", "Ramrod", and "Sherry Darling" were leftovers from his previous album, Darkness on the Edge of Town, and had been featured on that 1978 tour, as had parts of "Drive All Night" as a long interpolation within "Backstreets." "The River" had premiered at the September 1979 Musicians United for Safe Energy concerts, gaining a featured spot in the subsequent documentary No Nukes. Originally, the album was to be a single set entitled The Ties That Bind and released in late 1979. Springsteen added darker material after he'd written the title track. Indeed, The River became noted for it's mix of the frivolous next to the solemn. This was intentional, and in contrast to Darkness, for as Springsteen said during an interview, "Rock and roll has always been this joy, this certain happiness that is in it's way the most beautiful thing in life. But rock is also about hardness and coldness and being alone... I finally got to the place where I realized life had paradoxes, a lot of them, and you've got to live with them."
