Woven throughout These Are The Days, the sixth full-length album from Nashville's Michaela Anne, is a tenderness. With life comes change, and love must deepen to hold it all together. While Michaela Anne's past work searched for satisfaction in the external world, These Are The Days brings the gaze mindfully inward toward a re-grounding of values. Following two years of major life transitions in which she became a mother at the same time that her own mother suffered a stroke, Michaela Anne used songwriting to shape her understanding of a commonplace life. Michaela Anne recorded the album at her home studio-a backyard sanctuary hand-built by her husband, producer Aaron Shafer-Haiss, and his father, and it marks the debut release on her own label, Georgia June Records. These Are The Days reconnects with her rock roots, moving away from classic country toward something raw and resonant. Textured, vibrant, and deeply human, it's ultimately a coming-of-age statement written with the wisdom of a woman in her 30s: a recognition that there is no love without grief, and that growing up means holding both.

In recent years, Midge Ure has spent his time playing live and not has time to fully immerse himself in the studios creating music. To that end, A Man of Two Worlds is his first album of new material in 12 years.
Well worth the wait, the album is a formidable collection of outstanding music, divided into two clear parts. The first half, World One: Music, consists of eight instrumental pieces, while the second half, World Two: Songs, features eight vocal songs.
This concept was partly inspired by the time Midge spent during lockdown listening to instrumental music whilst presenting THE SPACE on Scala Radio. Hearing music that rarely finds a home on mainstream radio, he set about making something without lyrics, where the melodies had to speak for themselves.
The eight vocal songs which form the second part of the album came to Midge as the world reopened. A more divided world, in many ways a much harder and less empathetic one. Sharing an atmosphere with the preceding instrumentals, these songs are incredibly sparse and meditative, and whilst they are subtle, with some songs dealing with the frailty of the human condition, underlying many songs reflect Midge’s concerns for the discord infecting world today.
Midge will be touring A Man of Two Worlds on a 21-date UK tour in May/June, Australia/New Zealand in October, with Festivals and US dates being booked during the summer and Germany in Feb/March 2027, with more dates being added.

Acclaimed harpist and songwriter Mikaela Davis' new album, Graceland Way (due TK via Kill Rock Stars), builds an expansive, kaleidoscopic neo-western dystopia from the cozy origin point-that duality compounded by a subtle exploration of light and dark, grace and struggle, rose and thorn, as well as the mystical power found at their meeting points. The "canyon country" epic born of that work is indebted to the titular street in Chevy Chase Canyon where she recorded the album, the lineage of Laurel Canyon, the mythos of Elvis's Graceland, and Paul Simon's restless reinvention. "At the end of the journey, the place you were destined for all along isn't even a place, it's a state of mind: Graceland Way," Davis says. The Misfits are founded in 1977 by Glenn Danzig. They were hitting the stages the first couple of years with their hardcore punk. Later on they changed their style to heavy metal and punk rock. Consistent during the years is the influences from horror and sci-fi films, which can be seen by the clothing they wear, the visuals in the live shows and in the lyric they write. "Famous Monsters" is the fifth studio album. It is the second in the post-Danzig era of the band, and the last album to feature Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, Michale Graves, and Dr. Chud, who would all quit the band in 2000. The song "Scream!" was turned into a music video directed by George A. Romero. In addition, the band appeared in Romero's film Bruiser. "Kong at the Gates" was the theme music for WCW alumnus Vampiro. The song "Descending Angel" was re-recorded and released as a single in 2013, with Jerry Only on lead vocals.
