NoLifeTilMetal Records and Gammacide are teaming up to re-release the original Texas thrash metal masterpiece Victims of Science on strictly limited edition vinyl and CD.Gammacide is an aggressive thrash metal band with a very short but powerful history. When Texas metal pioneers Warlock disbanded in 1985, guitarist Rick Perry and Eric Roy formed thrash band Gammacide. Joined by drummer Jamey Milford and vocalist Varnam Ponville, Gammacide released a 5-song demo in 1987 which made the band a cult favorite amongst the metal fanzine and tape traders of the time. Scott Shelby joined in 1988 as a second guitarist, thus doubling the bands crushing guitar assault. In the summer of 1989 entered Sound Logic Studios in Dallas to record their debut Victims of Science, which was released in early 1990 on Wild Rags Records, becoming one of the label's best selling records.Gammacide recorded a 4-song demo in 1991 but by 1992 the band folded. In the late 90's and early 2000's the internet gave new exposure to Gammacide and created interest in Texas metal's most intense thrash experience. After many years of inactivity, Victims Of Science album was reissued on CD in 2005, and the band briefly reunited for a Texas tour to commemorate "20 Years of Toxic Metal." The following year, Perry and Shelby joined forces with Rigor Mortis vocalist Bruce Corbitt and formed Texas Metal Alliance, which was eventually renamed Warbeast and recorded their debut CD Krush The Enemy for Phil Anselmo's Housecore Records. Perry also plays guitar in Texas Heavy Metal band Iron Jaw (also available on NoLifeTilMetal Records).In 2022 NoLifeTilMetal Records put out a new CD and black vinyl version of Victims of Science. That pressing is sold out. In 2025, Gammacide reformed and once again spread the toxic Texas thrash throughout the underground on a U.S. tour. The band is headed back out on another U.S. tour in the Summer of 2026 and working on a new album. To conincide with the tour, NoLifeTilMetal Records and Gammacide have teamed up to re-release the original thrash metal masterpiece Victims of Science on limited edition Toxic Neon Green vinyl and Collector's Edition CD with six bonus tracks. The vinyl will include a 4-panel insert with a 24x12 collage poster. Only 200 copies will be pressed to vinyl. The CD release limited to 500 copies will include a 16-page booklet packed full of photos and memorabilia and will also include the 1991 and 2005 demos as bonus tracks. The music is completely remastered by Rob Colwell of Bombworks Sound, TX from the original DAT tapes.

“Signal Fire envisions a Kojima-esque dystopia of endless proxy warfare,” says vocalist and lyricist Tony Wolski (The Armed), “where the deluge of available information has outmoded the human ability to parse it. A world where those amoral, shameless and cunning enough can literally reshape reality at their whim through sheer insistence."
Having roared onto the scene in 2004 with a uniquely demented blend of extreme metal, synthesizer textures, and drum-machine madness, GENGHIS TRON are no strangers to making a forceful impression. But Signal Fire marks the first time bandleaders Michael Sochynsky and Hamilton Jordan –joined again by Wolski and Nick Yacyshyn (SUMAC) on drums, plus newcomer Kenny Szymanski (The Armed) on bass–has captured this level of urgency with such visceral precision. “This album is very much rooted in the now,” confirms Jordan.
Album opener “I Am All” sets the table with a chest-throbbing synth pulse as Wolski declares “I’m on a tear, I’m on a tear,” over swirling industrial rhythms and creeping synthlines. “Nothing Blooms in the Hollow” grafts desert-rock swagger onto interlocking layers of dizzying riffs and chants before Wolski steers the band into full-on sonic burnout, like a spaceship careening into the sun. “Born Prey” navigates deftly through Genghis Tron’s classic sonic touchpoints: furious blastbeats, electronic breaks, haunting vocal earworms, and a towering synth-pop crescendo. Meditative interludes like “Like Fotocrom” and “Without Form” deliver shimmering, ominous beauty. And “New Gods” invokes Rabies-era Skinny Puppy to bring the album to a bludgeoning, anthemic finale, as Wolski screams on repeat: “New gods to bleed me out / No new peace / Bleed me out / I love it.”
Twenty years into their career, having proven their ability to forge common ground between Ministry and Aphex Twin, between Brutal Truth and Boards Of Canada, between Cluster and Converge, ugly-beautiful new genre hybrids from GENGHIS TRON no longer come as a surprise. What’s remarkable, however, is how Sochynsky and Jordan have taken a project that started in 2004 as a dorm-room genre-pastiche experiment —”a chaotic, wild amalgamation of all our favorite stuff, literally slammed together,” says Jordan—and refined their songwriting craft to deliver a sound that is unmistakably their own.

The most overlooked forefathers of Swedish Death Metal! Recorded in the early 90's at the legendary Sunlight Studios. God Macabre formed in the end of the 80's under the name Macabre End. In 1991 they changed their name to God Macabre and released one song for the Pantalgia compilation and an album through the small German label Mangled Beyond Recognition Records before splitting up. Originally released in 1993, "The Winterlong" was recorded at Stockholm's legendary Sunlight Studios in 1991 and engineered by Tomas Skogsberg (Amorphis, At The Gates, Entombed). Now fully remastered and available again, "The Winterlong" reissue also contains four bonus tracks, including the band's original 7" demo from 1990 plus the previously unreleased track, "Life's Verge", the first new God Macabre recording in over 20 years.

“Music for me, is rarely complete,” says GODFLESH mastermind Justin Broadrick, “but it has to reach a point where enough is enough. Creatively, there has to be self-discipline. One has to end it.”
Broadrick is primarily referring to the nebulous process of writing and arranging songs into their various potential shapes, but he could just as easily be describing GODFLESH’s imminent conclusion. Just three years after the hypnotic crunch of Purge, 25 years after an uncertain hiatus that nearly scuttled the band, and 38 years since GODFLESH’s inception, Broadrick and bassist-at-arms Ben Green set out to mercilessly crush this cold world with their tenth and penultimate album, this year’s Decay.
“Decay was born from the same sessions as Purge,” Broadrick declares of the new record’s six tracks. “It was one huge pool of songs. I picked what I felt was appropriate for what I wanted to achieve with Purge, with the intention of releasing the songs that didn't fit as a new album within a year of Purge being released. Unfortunately, two years passed whilst considering external labels, so that I didn't have to self-release GODFLESH anymore, but it took an awful lot of time to establish a comfortable home for me. The recordings were done, but as usual for me, I did change a lot of stuff once I came back to it.”
Now, GODFLESH is ready to unleash an even bolder, bleaker series of sounds in Decay. These songs arrive shortly after Broadrick released a public statement about major abdominal surgery he underwent earlier this year. “Fortunately, all of the recordings for Decay were completed long before the surgery, vocals included… although the back end of a couple of songs were recorded with the hernia itself, and that was a struggle. I was already aware that the GODFLESH shout, so to speak, was exacerbating the hernia greatly, as was every GODFLESH performance in the lead-up to the surgery once the hernia appeared, and the hernia was mostly caused by year upon year of shouting in GODFLESH. The album was mixed post-surgery, and while I was still in some pain and considerable discomfort, but fortunately GODFLESH is generally me expressing my pain, albeit [usually] mental, philosophical and existential, whereas this was physical pain.”
While the middle of the record pulses with five-minute hate-grooves, Broadrick credits the slime-wracked opener “Master and Slave” and crawling closer “Consume Me” with Decay’s true conceptual thrust. “The bookends of Decay are the most important pieces to me. They say it all, so to speak; the album could have been just those two songs alone – the duration of them is half of the total album!”
As GODFLESH's active tenure comes to a close, Broadrick expresses gratitude that it was ever his vessel to use as he willed. “It expresses my pain, and I’ve put my body and soul into this expression for the majority of my existence. I feel quite lucky, because Godflesh is now physically impossible for me, rendering it useless. I now wish to move out of its constraints, move on creatively with heavy/ugly music to new ground.”

With their third album Projections, UK doom metal juggernaut Godthrymm have completed their Visions Trilogy begun with 2020's their Reflections debut album and followed with 2023's acclaimed Distortions. On the debut LP from this shrewdly named Danish duo, the usually clear-cut boundary between apocalyptic, sludgy blackened death metal and dark urban trap-rap is thrillingly pulverised. In 2022, guitarist Jakob Harris and vocalist Gavin Mistry struck up an immediate creative rapport at a Copenhagen show for local deathcore heroes Cabal. Although from very different backgrounds - Jakob a visual artist and musician playing in "a popcore band", Gavin a main player "in different hip-hop constellations" - they quickly found common ground in an area both were keen to explore.
