With 100 gecs’ Dylan Brady providing additional production on tracks across the album, and multi-Grammy-winning engineer Tom Norris (Lady Gaga, Charli xcx, The Weeknd) coming on board to mix the album. The result is 11 tracks that make you feel like you’re at the afterparty.
Fcukers will follow up their album release with their first full North American headline tour and another round of summer festivals. There's no sign of slowing down for this band continually on the rise.

Following the jazzy library vibes of 2023’s collaborative Dolphin LP with Greg Foat and Moses Boyd, the venetian maestro Gigi Masin returns to the ambience for which he is renowned, with Movement—his first solo full-length since 2020’s Calypso, and his Sacred Bones Records debut. Fuelled by creative reinvention and rhythmic motion, he moves seamlessly between melancholy MIDI notes, technoid robotics, groovy liminal cloudscapes, and fathoms-deep ambient aquatics.Since early beginnings in obscurity, his 1986 debut album Wind slowly built an organic following on late night radio, later bolstered when “Clouds” was sampled by artists like Björk, Post Malone, and more. He now counts Oneohtrix Point Never, Devendra Banhart, Caroline Polachek, and the late Kenny Wheeler as fans. The new album Movement reflects on Masin’s place within the pantheon of ambient masters, his ongoing artistic ambitions, and his aspirations for a scene which he’s seen grow exponentially from humble beginnings. The lp is also an ode to literal movement, both in nature, and in human physical expressions to sound. Masin strived to make ambient music for movement, not in the standard dance music sense, but “dynamic music, with a beating heart full of love.” Reconfiguring ambient’s associationwith solitary listening and cold academia, Gigi went outwards, channeling something somatic that connects with the body, not just the mind.“Bed on Mars” sets the titular tone for Masin’s renewed curiosity, with cosmic atmospherics evoking the sensation of waking up on a new planet unafraid, whilst the poignant synthesized trumpet and suspended liminal limbo of “Lost” feels like floating adrift in an unknown sea. Delving further into off-centre beats is the celestial techno funk of “Deception Dance,” which sounds like Sun Electric jamming with Carl Craig and Kraftwerk. The bright beaming light of “Golden” radiates warmth, sounding like the bossa-nova brother of Göttsching’s Balearic classic E2 E4.Despite the passing of his wife after a long illness, and losing his musical archive in a flood, Gigi remains pure-at-heart and positive, pouring his soul into the pursuit of beauty. The latest in a slow-starting but steadily building career, Movement sees Masin continue to secure his seat at the table of true ambient greats.

The Endless Dance is the first collaborative album from Northern Irish producer and composer Hannah Peel and Chinese percussionist Beibei Wang. The record is grounded in the strength of ancient concepts but comes alive with the joy and freedom of play as together, Peel and Wang travel through the 24 solar terms of the Chinese calendar with a cornucopia of sound in tow - synths and prepared piano alongside traditional and unconventional percussion. The album is collaged together from recordings made over five days at legendary rural studio Real World, a setting which aligned with the duo's inspiration from the natural world creating a permanent record of their shared musical landscape, informed by the flora and fauna that emerge and retreat through the seasons. Both genre-defying, storied artists in their own right, Peel and Wang met while working on Manchester Collective's 2023 album NEON and The Endless Dance certainly represents a step-change from the duo's shared classical backgrounds - but their knowledge and training is also the foundation of it's freewheeling audacity, giving them the confidence to trust their instincts. The album is produced by Mike Lindsay [LUMP, Tunng, Guy Garvey, Jon Hopkins] who, with free rein, brings added energy and creativity to the album.

Loukeman, the project of Toronto producer, DJ, and songwriter Luke Fenton, delivers Sd-3, the trilogy-closing third installment of his vibrant, far-reaching, free-flowing electronic music. Since 2021, each album has seen his profile rise steadily, bolstered by high-profile shows along some notable names in dance music, as well as songwriting and production work for A$AP Rocky, PinkPantheress, Dyltwosix, and more. He’s toured internationally alongside the launch of his own series of club nights and earned praise from various corners of the underground dance community, including Resident Advisor, Mixmag, and Pitchfork. The latter outlet pinpoints Loukeman’s “percussive musicality,” an ability to bend vocal earworms from R&B, folk, and pop into restless, imaginative tracks that shift from booming house bangers to wistful, airy excursions. What holds Sd-3 together, like the music that preceded it, is Loukeman’s knack for emotional resonance and a curiosity to go anywhere as long as it’s honest and unforced.
Threaded throughout, the contemplative stretches — like the spiraling guitar on “All Kindz” and “John Bird Song” or the woozy synth and chatter of “What a Rip” — give Sd-3 extra depth and reveal a tinge of vulnerability for Loukeman. He reflects, “I can see the angst, you know, the anxiety in certain songs. I think those are my favorite ones, the ones that are just dealing with love in some way.” That gets to the heart of what makes Loukeman’s music so effective: one can move to it and be moved by it.
