This album is a glimpse into the creative outpouring from Todd in September and October of 2025. He returned to the Purple Building in East Nashville to perfect what he called “the sound of country music 10 years from now”. This meant taking his favorite country music tropes, dismantling and reassembling them over stretched-out, swampy grooves with New Orleans-style horns. He was so sure of this sound, feel, and his studio band's pliability that he insisted on recording his vocal and guitar first, with no accompaniment or click track. Todd wanted the band to record after him, so they would HAVE to follow his lead wherever it went. In his mind, he was attempting to write and record a double album. His excitement over the recordings and the push to capture that much material meant that by mid-October, Todd had recorded his vocal, guitar and the band's rhythm section for at least an album’s worth of material, with plans to continue recording. Sadly, Todd passed away before the remaining overdubs and additional songs could be completed. Fortunately all the notes, directions and encouragement he left behind in the form of emails, voice memos and demos provided an extensive roadmap for his band. Following that roadmap as closely as possible, his band was able to complete Todd's last work, My Second Rodeo, Part 1.

Vinyl LP pressing. The influence of Merle Travis may not be widely known, but it is certainly widely felt across the whole of popular music. A pioneer of what came to be known as "Travis picking", the technique can be heard in songs by a diverse range of artists, including Fleetwood Mac, John Denver, Simon and Garfunkel, even Taylor Swift. He also invented his own guitar, influencing the subsequent design of Les Fender's iconic Fender Telecaster electric guitar. He was a highly successful singer-songwriter from the mid 1940s onwards, gaining more fans after Tennessee Ernie Ford covered the Travis-penned "Sixteen Tons" in 1955. He would go on to become an elder statesman figure at the peak of the folk revival in the mid 1960s, largely due to his influential concept album, "Folk Songs Of The Hills", released in 1947. This collection shines a spotlight on his early career, the most successful and productive period for this pioneer of picking. It includes 16 of his finest singles, self-penned and arranged from traditional tunes including "No Vacancy", "Cininatti Lou", "Divorce Me C.O.D.", "Nine Pound Hammer", "Steel Guitar Rag", "Merle's Boogie Woogie" and "What A Shame"

Vinyl LP pressing. Can't Outrun The Blues marks the long-awaited solo debut from GRAMMY® Award winner and reigning IBMA Guitar Player of the Year Trey Hensley, a musician widely regarded as one of the most electrifying young talents in bluegrass and roots music. Known for his jaw-dropping flatpicking and deeply expressive baritone voice, Hensley steps confidently into the spotlight with a record that honors tradition while pushing the genre forward with grit and modern edge. Across ten tracks, Hensley blends bluegrass, country, and blues-infused Americana into a cohesive statement of purpose. Originals like the title track and ""High Cost Of Goodbye"" showcase his songwriting depth and emotional weight, while carefully chosen cuts such as ""Up On Cripple Creek"" and ""Unknown Legend"" reflect his reverence for the lineage of American roots music. The performances are both technically stunning and emotionally grounded, balancing virtuosity with heart. The album is elevated further by an impressive roster of special guests, including Molly Tuttle, Vince Gill, Steve Wariner, and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, whose contributions add texture and legacy without overshadowing Hensley's commanding presence. The universe feels real on The Turnpike Troubadours because the band resolved to let the album happen on it's own time. Moving out to the Prairie Sun recording complex in the desert country of Cotati, California, setting up in former chicken coops converted into studios, they metaphorically unplugged the clock and worked studiously through 12-hour sessions, wrapping up only when each story and every note rang true. There's "7 Oaks", recounting a life made desperate by poverty, made more vivid by an incongruous hoedown accompaniment. "Bossier City," focused on a sad mill worker who blows his pay regularly on gambling and booze.

It’s more than a tribute, though…it’s Vince’s and Paul’s way of saying “thank you” to one of the masters who helped define the genre while influencing them greatly. The Version of Me You Get is a record about perspective, how life changes you, and who you are on the other side of it. Written and recorded in 2020 alongside longtime collaborator Sean McConnell, the album was born out of a rare stillness - a week spent holed up in the studio, building songs piece by piece with no outside noise and no deadline. Bowen had never had that kind of time with a record before. The result was something unhurried, deeply considered and wholly their own. Then life picked back up, and the album sat.
Five years later, Bowen returned to the recordings and found something he didn't expect: the songs had grown. What was captured in 2020 as honest and uncertain had become something richer — shaped by everything that followed, personally and professionally. The distance didn't diminish the record. It deepened it.
Spanning love, struggle, redemption, and vulnerability, The Version of Me You Get didn't just capture a moment in time, it gained meaning because of what came after. These songs finally found their moment. And it turns out, the wait made them better.

Equally upbeat and mellow, Hayes writes clever songs that mirror his brand and artistry of unconventional, unique country-music. Following the high from scoring his first No. 1 with hit song “Fancy Like,” Hayes’ latest album is a continuation of that success; a medley of beatboxing, sing-rapping, and witty lyrics with refreshing and vulnerable honesty that solidifies his place as a top-notch, one-of-a-kind player in the country music scene. After a long journey of fighting tooth and nail to make it in Nashville, but always sticking to his true self, Hayes’ record tells reminiscent stories of trials and triumphs of following a dream and trying to be better every day, with refreshing, catchy tunes about love and life mixed in that you can’t resist singing along to.

With his new album "Here I Am", Ward Davis delivers his most personal and soul baring work to date, a collection that dives deep into redemption, regret, and resilience. The Arkansas-born singer-songwriter has built his reputation on truth telling songs that cut to the bone, earning respect across the country landscape. He's shared stages with legends, written for Willie Nelson and Trace Adkins, and carved his own lane in the modern outlaw revival. With a voice that feels lived-in and lyrics that linger long after the song ends, Davis stands at the crossroads of country tradition and personal revelation. His music-featured in Yellowstone and the first season of Landman-embodies the grit, honesty, and heart of real American storytelling. "Here I Am" is both a statement and a confession, proof that Ward Davis isn't chasing country music's future; he's defining it on his own terms. Unlike most post-millennium country "outlaws," Hank Williams III has actually been fighting against something concrete instead of just nursing a bad attitude. Hank III likes his music as strong as his drink, and includes both his hard-edged trad-styled country and his "hellbilly" thrash metal project Assjack. There's an undercurrent of metal/punk creeping through a few tracks on Rebel Within (the bursts of Cookie Monster vocals on the title cut and the breakneck finale of "Drinkin' Over Momma"), but for the most part, this is the most straight forward country music Hank III has released since 2002's Lovesick, Broke and Drifitin'; Billly Contreras fiddle, Andy Gibson's steel guitar, and Johnny Hiland's guitar give these songs a classic acoustic honky tonk feel while adding just enough electric elements to keep this from sounding like an exercise in retro-nostalgia. More than one writer has noted that Hank III sounds a lot more like his grandfather Hank Williams than his dad Hank Willimas Jr. Ever did, and he writes the kind of melodies that suit his weathered, soulful twang just right. Rebel Within captures a tone of bad luck and trouble with a grace and gravity that's manna from heaven for fans of 100-proof roadhouse music. Rebel Within is strong, heartfelt work that proves Hank III hasn't turned his back on pure country music.

Luke Winslow-King's Coast of Light blends blues, jazz, folk, and Spanish influences into a vivid, atmospheric journey shaped by his years in New Orleans and his new life in Spain. Known for his soulful guitar work and gruff-warm vocals, Winslow-King pushes into more psychedelic, adventurous territory on his ninth album, co-produced with longtime collaborator Roberto Luti. Inspired by Andalusian coastlines, flamenco passion, and subconscious explorations, Coast of Light captures his evolution as a songwriter unafraid to take risks. The result is a richly textured album that illuminates the landscapes -musical and emotional - that have shaped him.
