From a Beaumont Bar is Pug Johnson's third full-length album and his most completecollection of heartbreak songs to date. Rooted in classic country storytelling, the recorddraws from the bars, backroads, and late nights that shaped him, turning years of livedexperience into songs full of regret, humor, longing, and hard-earned perspective.
Written with the benefit of hindsight, these stories don't try to rewrite the past—they simplytell it. From barroom anthems and dancehall shuffles to slow-burning ballads, From aBeaumont Bar captures the moments after love has gone wrong, when all that's left ismemory, acceptance, and another round.
While Beaumont, Texas provides the backdrop, the album's themes reach far beyond oneplace. It's a record about heartbreak in all its forms, told with the wit, warmth, and honestythat have become Pug Johnson's calling card. Rich with pedal steel, fiddle, accordion, andtimeless country grooves, From a Beaumont Bar is both a tribute to traditional countrymusic and a reminder that the best songs don't just tell stories—they make you feel likeyou've lived them.

Stella Lefty’s debut album, Long Way Home, captures an artist fully trusting her instincts and returning to the country-rooted songwriting that shaped her from the beginning. Following a breakout run led by “Thinking ’bout You,” “Boston” — which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 — and “Something to Lose” with Vincent Mason, Stella has amassed more than 875 million global streams while establishing herself as one of country-pop’s fastest-rising new voices. Long Way Home debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200, with the 14-track project finding Stella embracing a more personal, instinctive approach to songwriting after a period of feeling disconnected from the music she was making. Produced with Joe Reeves, the album blends acoustic-driven country-pop with candid songs about love, heartbreak, nostalgia, uncertainty, and learning to trust yourself. Much of the record was written alongside her close friend and collaborator Grace Enger, while songs like “Lean In, Kiss Me,” “Summer You Were Mine,” and “Feel Better” showcase different sides of Stella’s storytelling. As she steps into her first sold-out headline tour, Long Way Home represents the clearest expression yet of who Stella is as both a songwriter and artist: emotional, direct, joyful, and completely comfortable making the music she wants to make.

The Oak Ridge Boys are paying tribute to their favorite songs without losing sight of their gospel roots in a stunning and inspiring new album, Buried Treasures.
Produced by Anderson East and executive produced by Dave Cobb, Buried Treasures gathers together classic songs made popular by seminal voices such as Louis Armstrong and Nat King Cole, as well as essential songs written by Billy Joe Shaver, Paul Simon, and Bill Withers. The vocal group’s spiritual side shines through on recordings of “Deep River,” “How Great Thou Art,” and “Softly and Tenderly,” yet there’s also a hint of romance in the enduring ballad, “You Are So Beautiful.” The album’s only new song, “Buried Treasure,” was written specifically for the project by Academy Award-winning songwriter Aaron Raitiere.
“Every song on the album is about something that’s dear to us,” Oaks member Duane Allen says.

“Reap what you sow” was a phrase instilled in us before John 3:16 and “don’t eat yellow snow.” Every harvest season in western ND the fields would turn gold, the combines would run, and our hearts would uphold that simple idea. Work hard and you shall receive.
Growing up, we began small by planting songs all around the Midwest. And when that field turned gold, we moved across the country to Nashville. Smaller tractor, bigger field. We tilled on ‘til we ran out of gas and couldn’t see any signs of harvest. What happens when the very principle you relied on fails you? We are never promised the perfect harvest or the biggest yield. We are only promised a harvest. And every single one looks different.
We’ve realized the beauty in the harvest is not the yield itself but the culmination of the bravery it takes to plant and the unwavering faith it takes to sow the seeds not knowing what the harvest will bring. At the root of it, you think you’re the one growing a dream, but in actuality, the dream is growing you. UPC: 199584685625Label: Sme NashvilleRelease Date: 10.9.26Format: CD
This album is a glimpse into the creative outpouring from Todd in September and October of 2025. He returned to the Purple Building in East Nashville to perfect what he called “the sound of country music 10 years from now”. This meant taking his favorite country music tropes, dismantling and reassembling them over stretched-out, swampy grooves with New Orleans-style horns. He was so sure of this sound, feel, and his studio band's pliability that he insisted on recording his vocal and guitar first, with no accompaniment or click track. Todd wanted the band to record after him, so they would HAVE to follow his lead wherever it went. In his mind, he was attempting to write and record a double album. His excitement over the recordings and the push to capture that much material meant that by mid-October, Todd had recorded his vocal, guitar and the band's rhythm section for at least an album’s worth of material, with plans to continue recording. Sadly, Todd passed away before the remaining overdubs and additional songs could be completed. Fortunately all the notes, directions and encouragement he left behind in the form of emails, voice memos and demos provided an extensive roadmap for his band. Following that roadmap as closely as possible, his band was able to complete Todd's last work, My Second Rodeo, Part 1.

More than eighty years ago in southwestern Virginia, Carter and Ralph Stanley forged a sound that became a cornerstone of bluegrass and old-time music - yet they remain far less known outside the genre than their influence warrants. Where the Soul Never Dies sets out to change that. Producers Alison Brown and Garry West assembled an eclectic cast spanning bluegrass and Americana, pairing the genre's next generation with roots voices who grew up on these songs. Standout contributors include Billy Strings, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Sierra Ferrell, Jamey Johnson, Steve Martin, and Ralph Stanley II, among others. The album arrives October 16th - two days before The Stanley Brothers' induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Pain threaded with joy is the sound of survival. On The Hard Truth, Wynonna isn’t letting go of either one, carrying everything she’s endured and reinventing herself as an artist.
This eleven-track tribute to deep sorrow and dogged persistence strips away layer after layer of the lush production that defined Wynonna’s previous recordings, delivering in its place her most personal and powerful work yet. ANTI- is proud to continue its tradition of embracing American legends and giving them a platform to reach new heights.
The Hard Truth has a major contributor in the form of producer Cactus Moser, Wynonna’s partner in music and life. Wynonna and Moser shared songwriting duties on The Hard Truth, and the resulting tracks were recorded to capture and compliment the raw powerhe’d witnessed decades ago. What they’ve created together is an unvarnished elegy to the dead and the missing, an album that pays tribute to choosing love in the face of suffering. Through instrumentation and arrangements unlike any record in Wynonna’s four-decade career, The Hard Truth rolls in like a night train hitting listeners on the blind side

It’s no disrespect to the man to not believe, in part or in whole, every word that Ray Wylie Hubbard writes, sings, or speaks — and frankly, he’d probably respect you a little less if you did. As celebrated songwriters of the outlaw poet/down-home-country-blues persuasion go, Hubbard’s credibility is unimpeachable. And to be fair, even as a somewhat notorious raconteur, his overall truthiness is a lot more bankable than your average politician or fundamentalist grifter. But fold your cards every time he goes all in across a table from you, or swallow as fact every nugget of wisdom he sharpens into verse or stretches into a yarn without catching the gleam in his eye or wry tell between the lines, and odds are you’ve been played.
But honestly, that’s all just part of what makes Hubbard so damn fun.
“You know, a lot of artists when they put out a record, they go, ‘This is the best record I’ve done up to this point,’” the Americana legend considers sagely after a pause when asked how to best sum up Reel 2 Reel 4 Real, his 20th album in a recording career stretching back to the mid-70s. “But I’m not going to say this is the best record I’ve done. I’ll say it’s the best record I’ve ever heard.”
No matter how many awards and Hall of Fame inductions others might honor him with (he’s a member of both the Austin Music HOF and the Texas Heritage Songwriters HOF), Hubbard never swaggers or sings his own praises without keeping his tongue planted firmly in cheek. But after brushing aside his bluff with a chuckle, Hubbard gets real. “I am very proud of it,” he answers sincerely. “Everybody that played on it put a lot of work into it, and it just felt right doing it. I’m very grateful.”

Redferrin has spent years establishing himself as one of Nashville's most compelling songwriters before breaking out with a signature sound that merges country soul with modern urban influence. His new 13-track album, Been There Done That, serves as a reflective exploration of the heart and the highway. Primarily produced by Jake Saghi, with additional production by Jimmy Robbins, the project balances polished delivery with grounded, honest storytelling. Central to the record is the contrast between Tennessee roots and West Coast allure, highlighted by the pensive"If I Was California"and the standout collaboration"Palm Trees" (feat. Wiz Khalifa). Throughout the tracklist, Redferrin navigates the "definition of insanity" found in repetitive heartbreaks and late-night regrets. From the self-aware vulnerability of "Heart A Break" to the weary resilience of the title track, the album offers a mature, nuanced look at an artist who has truly lived the stories he tells. For years, singer-songwriter Riley Downing has collected stories about life's overlooked moments and underappreciated people. He's unearthed these tales of castaway truths and once-faded recollections for Landfill Poetry, a sophomore solo album and Oh Boy Records debut.A native of small-town Missouri who once worked as a backroad trashman before becoming one of music's weathered journeymen, the husky-voiced Downing may be best known as a member of noisemaking Americana outfit The Deslondes, a New Orleans-born band that he co-founded after a clandestine meeting with likeminded musicians at a folk festival in Oklahoma. On Landfill Poetry, his six-string worldbuilding takes listeners to the back of the trash truck (""Landfill Poetry""), inside the lonely hours of the graveyard paycheck (""Night Shift"") and to the quiet moments after a hard day of work (""Porch Song"").He sings for the restless ones who stay up way too late (""Hay Hay Hay"") and the grandchildren who admire a hard-working compassion once shared between late loved ones (""Helen & Gene""). With each song, Downing uncovers sketches of life that once might've been lost to the landfill but instead are shared anew.

I guess you could call it a lost album," says Rodney Crowell. "I stumbled upon it in my vault at home. I'd forgotten about it completely." He's referring to Then Again, which he recorded and shelved two decades ago before moving off into new directions. Since then, the album has been biding it's time, waiting for the moment when it's songs would hit hardest. And they hit incredibly hard now, largely because age and experience have granted Crowell a richer perspective. "I'm glad I put it on the shelf, because now is the time for it. It may not be the time for it for the rest of the world, but it's time for it for me. That's why I wanted to call it Then Again. I thought that was a clever way of saying that what was happening then is happening now. Once lost and now found, Then Again is something the Rodney Crowell of the 2000s could never have predicted but something the Rodney Crowell of the 2020s recognizes instinctively: a work of nuance, insight, and sensitivity that considers death but celebrates life. "I'm trying to understand that this spirit of mine is going to leave this body and go off somewhere else. I've got a pretty good idea that it's going to be someplace good, but I still need to perfect some part of my spiritual journey here before I check out. I can see that in these songs now.
