Linda Gail Lewis was rocked in her cradle by the boogie piano of her older brother Jerry Lee. She did her first recording session at Sun Records, Memphis in March 1963 when she was 15, and started to tour on stage with Jerry Lee the following year. Linda continued to tour and records, one and off, with Jerry Lee though to 1987. In 1990 she decided to launch her own independent career with a solo album called International Affair and her own shows.

A city with a crucial role in eighteenth-century international politics, Naples in the Baroque era was one of the centres of culture, art, and refinement. The presence of international nobility brought wealth and prestige, patronages and opportunities; this in turn fostered the development of a musical "school" which had a twofold role. On the one hand, it concurred in establishing at the local level the role of Naples as a capital of Baroque music; on the other, it created a repository of talent and expertise ready to be exported Europewide. Johnny Storm made a name for himself in the early 1980s as a youthful Rockabilly singer. He released two albums, 'Flame On' and 'For Greasy Kids Only' which are both new regarded genre classics. He found TV fame as a regular on ITVs 'Oh Boy!' on which he made more than a dozen appearances. When the Rockabilly days of the '80s passed, Johnny Storm quit the music business until 2005 when his original drummer Tony called and arranged a one-off reunion jam. That get-together was so good that it would have been a crime to leave it there, so The Johnny Storm Band is now back on the road, gigging regularly, and it must be said, sounding better then ever. Youth may have been replaced by experience, but there's certainly no lack of energy here, and the band plays with at least the same enthusiasm as it did first time around. 'Rockin' Machine' was originally intended as a 5-track EP of all-new material, but when some highly collectible, previously unissued material dating from the early 1980s was rediscovered, the project expanded into a mini-album with a couple of bonus tracks which Johnny Storm fans old and new will love.

Jay Chance is a British Rocker who played the legendary 2I's in Soho in the 1950s, along with many other young Rock 'n' Roll singers of the time. He appeared on the radio and cut demos at HMV in London, but didn't get the big recording deal that would make him a star. He gave up singing for many years, but finding his old recordings whilst having a clearout reignited the spark, and 5 decades later Jay is singing and recording again, and it must be said, he's in great voice. Raucous Records is very proud to release Jay Chance's debut album - albeit approaching 50 years late! Jay got together with some real Rock 'n' Roll musicians and recorded this great album. Jay performs some lesser-known rockers impeccably, with musicians who understand how 1950's Rock 'n' Roll should be played. The recordings were made on vintage equipment to capture an authenticity that would be impossible with today's recording techniques. Million-selling hits of the past were given a wide berth - the intention being to make a real Rock 'n' Roll album and not an oldies nostalgia collection. They succeeded.
