Offthesky is an ever evolving acoustic-ambient quilt created by Denver, Colorado artist jason corder. Weilding instruments such as a vibraphone, guitar, piano, and various voices, mr. corder makes home-spun and spacious sound scapes of magestic proportion. He often collaborates with other open-minded individuals and is proud to have worked with sonic heroes such as darren McClure, ian hawgood, pleq, ten and tracer, and more. He also creates short videos and loves spending time in the mountains staring intensely at the clouds. UPC: 708527260128Label: American PatchworkRelease Date: 11.20.26Format: CD
Open Universe is a new record label founded in 2025 following an invitation to envision a series of releases for the German production music library Sonoton. Curated by Jon Tye (Lo Recordings, Ocean Moon, Seahawks, MLO) with a remit to explore and create new worlds of sound in which to dwell and discover. Prismatic Fields is a collaboration between Ocean Moon and Silver Ley (Jon Tye & Bethany Ley), together they create metaphysical pop from another dimension where warm oscillations mingle and resonate to conjure a world alive with light and life. An album that leans lightly into the worlds of fantasy synth and sacral medievalist electronics where silken harp glissandos, synth waves and enchanted vocal tones mix with lush fourth world textures and clusters of rhythmic invention. Tripping into spaces modern and game-like, soundtrack moods that dip into the liminal dream states found in the work of Daniel Lopatin, Susumu Yokota and Boards Of Canada. Music that is both functional and formless, designed to stimulate and facilitate, to inspire and motivate. UPC: 826853007825Label: Open UniverseRelease Date: 11.20.26Format: Vinyl
Iam8bit & Materia Collective are ecstatic to present Hero of Time, a one-hour arrangement album based on Koji Kondo's dynamic, epic and absolutely gorgeous score to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Recorded by the 64-player Slovak National Symphony Orchestra for this very album, Hero of Time breathes new life into the classic Ocarina of Time score, previously only available via it's Nintendo 64 sound chip origins. The album is arranged & composed by Eric Buchholz, a maestro of video game concert tours across the globe, including The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony (plus the bonus CD that shipped with Skyward Sword!!), The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses, and many more. The stunning album artwork was created by Ryan Brinkerhoff, full of subtle visual detail and interactive pieces, including a die-cut Ocarina window on the jacket's front, a majestic gatefold featuring both Light or Dark sides, and, of course - the finishing crescendo of a shimmering, gold foil-stamped triforce on the back. And for the first time ever, this special Anniversary Edition features an all-new Obi Strip, complete with details on the album itself. We've pressed it on an all-new colorway; the gorgeous Blue Clouds/Violet Clouds Vinyl. UPC: 850079591592Label: Iam8bitRelease Date: 11.20.26Format: Vinyl
