Three years after their critically acclaimed album On The Inside, Gotts Street Park return with their new album, Somewhere Between. Drawing on richly emotional folk and Americana influences, the trio had artists such as Blaze Foley, Jessica Pratt and Big Thief on heavy rotation during the album's recording. The result combines their renowned production prowess with even greater warmth, blending classic songwriting with an exceptional roster of guest vocalists. The band channelled their analogue values into the album's contemporary Americana sound. There was no grand discussion about taking a new direction; rather, they found themselves collectively drawn to this style of music, with Josh also immersing himself in Neil Young and other ""early '70s stuff"". Somewhere Between features contributions from Celeste, Matt Maltese, Rosie Lowe, Pip Millett, Sofia and the Antoinettes, anaiis and Olive Jones. Each vocalist brings their own lyrics to the project, creating something unique and magical alongside the trio's music.

If Remi Wolf’s first two albums, 2021’s Juno and 2024’s Big Ideas, were in technicolor, her third LP Mud is its more neutral, earthy and grounded sibling. Still colorful, as Wolf tends to be, but from a more rooted & grounded place. The rawness with which Wolf wrote the album is delivered in the sound: stripped away of synths and programmed drums, Mud is Remi Wolf at her most lyrically and sonically vulnerable. The songs evoke the feeling of singing around a campfire with just your friends and a couple guitars because that’s how it felt for Wolf to make it. But to find the clearing in the forest, she needed to make a whole new trail first.

Nine-time GRAMMY® winner Anderson .Paak and GRAMMY®-nominated rapper Cordae have been operating on the same wavelength for years. What started as pure chemical reaction on 2019’s “RNP” slowly turned into one of hip-hop’s most natural, low-ego partnerships, fueled by back-and-forth gems like “Two Tens” and “Summer Drop” and a series of dynamic TV performances that felt more like two best friends hanging out than a polished routine. On their debut collaborative album, Heavy Is The Crown, that organic bond gets the full-length treatment it’s always deserved.
At its core, the project is a tightrope walk between serious real-life stakes and uncompromising fun. The title isn't just bravado—it speaks directly to the shared weight both artists carry as the primary providers and anchors for their families. But instead of letting that pressure crush the vibe, .Paak and Cordae lean into each other. Meeting as total equals, .Paak’s elastic, soul-drenched musicality anchors Cordae’s razor-sharp lyricism, allowing both to unpack the heavy reality of success and family responsibility without ever losing their spark.
That balance is what makes the album tick. To drive the point home, the album art pays homage to the cult comedy Step Brothers—a nod to the silly, irreverent friendship that birthed the music in the first place. Heavy Is The Crown doesn't feel like a forced corporate crossover or a calculated career move. It’s a record about brotherhood, family, and what happens when two masters of their craft step into the studio simply because nobody makes them laugh, rap, or create quite like the other.

Tommy Lefroy has never been afraid of existential questions. From their critically acclaimed debut EP, Flight Risk, the band has captured audiences with their candor wrapped in wit. Both lyrically intimate and sonically vast, the band’s catalog is confessional and commentative, balancing irony with sincerity. They broach their biggest subjects yet on their first full length album, The Precariat.
An economic term, the precariat refers to a growing class of people facing increasing instability. “Most people we know are experiencing an unprecedented level of precarity, permeating into the collective psyche. We feel like the best we could strive for in a body of work is an unflinching capture of the moment. The Precariat felt like the perfect title, and emblem of how it feels to be alive these days.”
Recorded in Los Angeles at Blue Canyon Studios, The Precariat was produced by band members Wynter Bethel and Tessa Mouzourakis, with co-production from Stephen Sesso, and executive production by Mike Crossey (The 1975, Wolf Alice, MUNA). The album’s songs were written by Bethel and Mouzourakis, over the tenure of their friendship, across apartments and tour vans, phone calls and late night conversations. With themes of friendship, coming of age, personal and collective grief, environmental uncertainty and political decay, The Precariat offers a sonic landscape in which to contend with our rapidly changing world.
The album’s title track (largely inspired by Springsteen’s critical narratives mistaken for bleeding heart patriotism) grapples with constant exposure to global suffering, and feeling entrenched within systems that fail us. “The Precariat” disintegrates into the ‘American cities’ outro, an idea started while the band lived in London, about missing home while watching it destabilize from afar. The Precariat faces this head on – all the sheen of the American empire has worn off, and there is much work to be done.“We hope to foster an antidote to precarity – community.”

My Aim Is True (49th Anniversary Edition) tells the origin story of how Declan MacManus became Elvis Costello. This expansive 5CD box set features 104 tracks, 52 of them unreleased songs, demos, outtakes, and live performances. The collection also includes a 72 page liner essay by Elvis Costello, with unseen photographs, handwritten lyrics from his notebooks, and diary entries from 1976 as he was making My Aim Is True.
The story is told across 5 CDs:CD1: My Aim Is True (2026 Remaster): Remastered from the original 1977 analog master tapesCD2: The Blue Print: Acoustic recordings and demos recorded before My Aim Is TrueCD3: The Stranger In The House: How Declan MacManus became Elvis Costello in 28 songsCD4: Becoming The Attractions: As they took charge of the My Aim Is True songs and then went madCD5: Covered In Clover: The first and last time Costello and Clover played My Aim Is True live in 2007
IG1: "Watching The Detectives” (Good Afternoon Broadcast)
My Aim Is True was released in July 1977. Elvis Costello made an early UK TV appearance on the Mavis Nicholson Show where he preformed an acoustic version of Watching The Detectives, a song that was not on the original release of My Aim Is True. After the single's release in October 1977, Detectives was added to the US release then all future reissues. This is a formative performance for Costello. In the liner notes he writes, "If at heart, I was still ill-at-ease in being the front man of a rock and roll band, I was perfectly happy to answer questions only designed to make me appear less like a freak. The show also gave me the time to perform two songs with solo electric guitar accompaniment, calm and focused versions of “Watching The Detectives” and “Hoover Factory” in which I had space to really put these stories across."
IG2: "I Turn Around” (Hope & Anchor Studio)
"Listening to these 1975-76 recordings, is like watching someone walk around a hat shop trying on lids and titfers; some of them didn’t suit me at all, while others could be donned as a disguise for a minute or two," says Costello in his liner notes. The Blue Print (CD2 of the box set) captures the era of Elvis figuring out who he is going to become. The previously unreleased song "I Turn Around" is from a single solo session at Hope & Anchor Studio in very early ’76. It was recorded by Dave Robinson—the future co-founder of Stiff Records. It one of 52 previously Unreleased songs, demos, outtakes and live performances on the My Aim Is True box set.
Release Focus Track: "Love Is Gone” (Live - Great American Music Hall, San Francisco, CA - November 8, 2007)
Elvis Costello recorded my Aim Is True with the US country rock band, Clover as his backing band. Elvis never performed with Clover. Soon he assembled The Attractions as his touring and recording band. On a November night in 2007, Elvis Costello and the members of Clover performed My Aim Is True together at one-off concert in San Francisco. This 21 song concert has never been released and has been mixed from the multis by Sebastian Krys. Elvis says, "There was even time for, “Love Is Gone”, the Alex Call song, I had first heard Nick Lowe play with Brinsley Schwarz, not long before he wrote,“(What’s So Funny ’Bout) Peace, Love & Unders- tanding” which seemed like the perfect number to close the show." "Love Is Gone" originally appeared on Clover's 1971 released.

Kenny Chesney wanted to create something that captured the imagination, lifted the spirit, and gave people the heart of every possible moment when he went back into the studio. Over the last several years, the songwriter/superstar listened to, wrote and considered hundreds of songs on his way to Silver Sands Marina . If the life-affirming summer anthem “Carry On” is any indication, the stadium-sized superstar has nailed the sweet spot! Only the third song and first by an independent label to close out the panel of reporting country radio stations in its first week, his first single for the brand new HEY NOW Records captures island tides, barmaid wisdom, a philosophy of half-full and squeezing every drop of joy out of life, continuing the positive vibes that have defined his career. Again, teaming with long-time co-producer Buddy Cannon, Silver Sands Marina is 11 perfect moments that merge genres, feelings, and a sense of how we find our best selves through the songs we love. Whether vintage country, rock guitars, Calypso undertows, ‘90s country or introspective ballads, it’s all found at Silver Sands Marina. Julia Jacklin has made a name for herself as one of Australia's most internationally celebrated songwriters, with nominations at both the ARIA and Libera Awards, sold-out shows globally, massive tours, appearing at major festivals from Glastonbury to Pitchfork, Newport Folk to Primavera, countless accolades for her critically acclaimed albums. After touring flat-out for years on three beloved releases, Julia found herself at home out of contract with her record label, looking for a new manager. "For the first time since I started out, I had this big chunk of time without any industry expectations and no-one to ask me what was going on," she remembers. "It was liberating and it was scary." Jacklin wanted to do things intentionally this time around. She wanted to back herself. And she wanted to make the record at home in Melbourne: something she'd never done before."I want to love and be loved, but I also want to feel free. The tension between those two things has been the central question of my life," This is the theme that underpins her fourth album The Gem.When Julia first moved to Melbourne from Sydney in 2017, she discovered a little bar called The Gem on a back street in Collingwood, where bands pushed dining tables to the side and set up in a corner on the floor."The Gem felt like a metaphor for the whole process, because a lot of it did feel like digging. I felt like I was almost doing it in the dark, just trusting that I was going to find something," says Jacklin of the record, which conjures images of excavation, of reinvention, of trusting your instincts and surrounding yourself with the people and things that make life worthwhile. It's a soaring document of the songwriter's journey back to herself.
