Epitaph Records has re-issued The Blood Brothers’ final album Young Machetes to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release. The collectors edition vinyl include rare remixes, never before seen photos, and a new retrospective for the ultimate collectors’ edition. From 1997 to 2007, The Blood Brothers’ “molotov mixture of suburb surrealism and sonic extremity” (Alternative Press, 2003) rocked and riveted critics and fans around the world. Formed in the suburbs of Seattle, the dueling singers Johnny Whitney and Jordan Blilie along with Cody Votolato (guitar), Morgan Henderson (bass) and Mark Gajadhar (drums) crafted a unique style of convulsive, ground breaking hardcore that was quickly embraced by critics and fans of punk, hardcore and indie rock.Over their ten years in existence the quintet released five critically acclaimed studio albums including Burn, Piano Island, Burn, “the most prolific, beautiful, and vital statement of rock since the Stooges’ Raw Power” (PopMatters, 2003), Crimes, the sturdiest bridge between the hardcore underground and indie-rock elitists” (Alternative Press, 2004) and “one of the best of 2006” (PopMatters, 2006), Young Machetes.

Stella Lefty’s debut album, Long Way Home, captures an artist fully trusting her instincts and returning to the country-rooted songwriting that shaped her from the beginning. Following a breakout run led by “Thinking ’bout You,” “Boston” — which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 — and “Something to Lose” with Vincent Mason, Stella has amassed more than 875 million global streams while establishing herself as one of country-pop’s fastest-rising new voices. Long Way Home debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard 200, with the 14-track project finding Stella embracing a more personal, instinctive approach to songwriting after a period of feeling disconnected from the music she was making. Produced with Joe Reeves, the album blends acoustic-driven country-pop with candid songs about love, heartbreak, nostalgia, uncertainty, and learning to trust yourself. Much of the record was written alongside her close friend and collaborator Grace Enger, while songs like “Lean In, Kiss Me,” “Summer You Were Mine,” and “Feel Better” showcase different sides of Stella’s storytelling. As she steps into her first sold-out headline tour, Long Way Home represents the clearest expression yet of who Stella is as both a songwriter and artist: emotional, direct, joyful, and completely comfortable making the music she wants to make.

Yaphet is the new album from rapper Curly Castro-alsoknown as one half of the dynamic duo Shrapknel-outSeptember 18, 2026, on Backwoodz Studioz. On Yaphet, Castro draws inspiration from the Blaxploitation film genreof the 1970's; using that era's black heroes and antiheroesas a launching pad for his cinematic lyricism. Flows switchas effortlessly as camera angles, verses are saturated withreferences and entendres, it's an endlessly rewind-worthyrap masterclass. But Yaphet is also Castro's first soloalbum since 2021's Little Robert Hutton, and beneath thefireworks, this album reflects the depth of his experiencesin those intervening years.""I didn't set out to be so honest about my life, but that's whatcame out and the album is better for it, "" Castro explains, ""from facing the death of my infant daughter, to my father'sdeath, to facing my own impending mortality, these are mymost vulnerable blades, on my deepest cuts.""Like Castro, this record marches to the beat of it's drum, andmake no mistake, there are drums a-plenty for the veteranMC to spar with, as only he can. Produced entirely byMilwaukee beat maker Locust, Yaphet is a bouncy, eclectic listen that nods to it's influences, without ever lookingbackwards. Castro is joined by a whirlwind of the genre'sfinest; billy woods, PremRock, Fatboi Sharif, Brian Ennals, SKECH185, Blueprint, AJ Suede, shemar, ALASKA, Sunmundi, blackchai, & Margel the Sophant.

Ultra Clear Vinyl. Underoath reinvents the balance between chaos and harmony with each successive release. Their compositions, conjured from creative tension, become iconoclastic anthems. They're Only Chasing Safety is the fourth studio album by American melodic hardcore band Underoath, released June 15, 2004 through Solid State Records. In the heavy and punk music scene, the album is considered a watershed moment; the blend of heavy metal and hardcore influences with a strong pop/punk sensibility spawned a new branch of heavy music that became synonymous with the screamo scene of the mid-2000s. The record went gold in 2011.

Goes to Hell finds Alice Cooper leaning fully into his dark, mischievous persona with a slicker, more conceptual edge. Released at the peak of his ’70s run, the album blends hard rock, glam, and theatrical storytelling into a twisted journey through temptation, excess, and damnation. Anchored by catchy hooks, glossy production, and Cooper’s unmistakable snarl, tracks like “Go to Hell” and “You Gotta Dance” balance menace with tongue-in-cheek humor. Less shock-rock chaos and more calculated spectacle, Goes to Hell is a stylish, underrated chapter in the Alice Cooper catalog—sinister, fun, and built for big speakers. FILTH PIG is the sixth studio album by industrial metal band Ministry. Originally released in 1996, the title was allegedly derived from a statement made in the British Houses of Parliament, where bandleader Al Jourgensen was described as a filthy pig by MP Teddy Taylor. For FILTH PIG, Ministry stripped all synthesizers and most samples from their style and made the music almost entirely with ultra-noisy guitars, heavy bass, and real drums, giving it an almost Doom Metal feel. FILTH PIG was supported with the singles/videos 'Reload', 'The Fall', 'Lay Lady Lay' (a cover of Bob Dylan's old country-tinged hit) and 'Brick Windows'. Deluxe 2LP edition features rare single edits and B-sides. UPC: 081227802899Label: RhinoRelease Date: 10.30.26Format: Vinyl

Dark Side Of The Spoon was the seventh studio album by Industrial Metal band Ministry, released in 1999. It opens with Al Jourgensen screaming "I just shot a man to death" over grinding guitar riffs and an unrelenting, martial beat. Clearly, these godfathers of industrial rock showed no signs of mellowing as they entered their third decade of sonic terrorism. True to form, Ministry delivered cut after cut of manic alienation on Dark Side of the Spoon. The tenth album of Clinic's career, Wild In The Streets, takes the current temperature of the UK in their own inimitable style. These dozen songs are marked by urgency, surreal wordplay and trademark wit. For a band determined to chart their own course ("We've always run in the opposite direction to what's happening," asserts Ade Blackburn. "So if anything gets too close to sounding like something else, then we'll take a different route"), Clinic continue to push forward in new and unexpected ways.Nearly 30 years since they first founded Clinic as a quartet, key members Blackburn and Jonathan Hartley's chemistry remains as potent as it ever was, perhaps even more so. "We've known each other since school," says Blackburn. "Hartley was always interested in electronics and drum machines, even as a teenager. He's into rhythms, whether it's reggae and funk or more conventional guitar music, whereas I was always into songs and melodies. I think that's why Clinic works so well." Wild In The Streets is now set to take it's place beside past triumphs like 2000's Internal Wrangler, 2006's Visitations and 2012's Free Reign. "We've always had this absolute faith in what we do," Blackburn adds. "It's relatively outsider-ish music, but that's something that's motivated us to keep going, because it's good to have things that are a little out on the fringes. There's just not enough of that kind of music these days."

24 years after it's initial release, Mogwai's iconic second album 'Come On Die Young' is to be reissued on coloured vinyl. Presented in a gatefold sleeve with original artwork, the white vinyl will come with a digital download code. Arriving in March 1999 with an album cover that referenced The Exorcist and a title scalped from a well-known Glasgow gang slogan, you'd have expected Mogwai's 'Come On Die Young' to be an apocalypse-harbouring, pre-millennial assault on the senses. Instead, we were treated to a darkly elegiac - surprisingly restrained - response to the aural fireworks of their 'Young Team' debut from two years earlier.

Sixty years into a career that began with Fairport Convention and has spanned decades as one of rock's most acclaimed singer-songwriters, Richard Thompson is still chasing surprise. On Hippies, Thugs and Heroes, he lets his subconscious take the wheel, pulling from a cast of old friends, false gurus, former selves, and invented characters who insisted on having their stories told. The result is an album that refuses to sit still. It opens with the bright, Byrds-inspired jangle of "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" — a song rooted in Thompson's own history with 1970s spiritual movements and the complicated pull of charismatic leaders — before swinging into the rowdy "Everybody's Stealing" and landing on the bluesy closer "Stringer." Along the way, "Cocaine Walking, Booze Talking" delivers some of his most inventive guitar work yet, a raw-nerve build into a splintered, psychedelic solo that captures a hardscrabble cast of London strivers and connivers.Recorded live with his longtime band — Taras Prodaniuk on bass, Michael Jerome on drums, David Mansfield on guitar and fiddle, and wife Zara Phillips on backing vocals — at Hobosound Studio in Weehawken, NJ, the sessions moved fast, often in just two to four takes. But the songwriting itself runs deep: more elaborate home demos gave Thompson's own musical identity a stronger hold on the final record, resulting in an album he describes as "less them and more me."What emerges is a spiritual inquiry disguised as a rock record — a meditation on the towers we build and the ruin that follows when we invest in them too completely. Thompson doesn't fully understand every song here, and that's exactly the point. Hippies, Thugs and Heroes is proof that after sixty years, the joy of not knowing where a song will take you hasn't faded one bit.

Porno for Pyros’ Good God’s Urge is a darker, more atmospheric evolution of the band’s sound, blending alternative rock with touches of psychedelia, worldbeat, and introspective lyricism. Released in 1996, the album leans into moody textures and unconventional rhythms, creating a sense of unease that runs beneath its hypnotic grooves.Frontman Perry Farrell delivers cryptic, often surreal lyrics that explore themes of desire, spirituality, and disconnection, giving the record a haunting, almost meditative quality. Tracks shift between sparse, brooding arrangements and bursts of intensity, emphasizing mood over straightforward hooks.Good God’s Urge stands as a bold, experimental statement—less immediate than their debut, but richer and more immersive, revealing a band willing to push beyond expectations into stranger, more introspective territory. Silent Funk +1 returns with U Ain’t Special, a hard-hitting new album that embodies the raw, uncompromising spirit of underground hip-hop. Released through Bronx Sonics Records, U Ain’t Special is a statement of authenticity built for listeners who still value lyricism, rugged production, originality, and the independent spirit that has always driven hip-hop culture. The album title is a direct sentiment of how the trio of Rhinoceros Funk (emcee), Silent Someone (producer) and DJ JS-1 feel about the current generation of operators in the hip-hop space. As JS-1 states, “In this modern era where tech allows ANYONE to jump in and do anything, nothing is special. Most of the people everyone puts on pedestals are not even slightly special. They are dime a dozen with fantastic engagement on social media.” Or as Rhino succinctly states “Let me remind you of what’s inside you brother NOTHING!!! I ain’t special and if I ain’t special you ain’t special!”

Thirty years after it's original release, Pigwalk remains one of the most important and influential albums in the history of rap-metal. Released in 1996, the album arrived before the genre exploded into the mainstream and helped establish Stuck Mojo as one of it's earliest innovators. Combining crushing groove metal riffs, hardcore aggression, and rhythmic vocal delivery, the band forged a sound that was both groundbreaking and unmistakably heavy.Produced by Devin Townsend, Pigwalk captures Stuck Mojo at a creative peak. Tracks such as ""(Here Comes) The Monster,"" ""Mental Melt Down,"" and ""Only The Strong Survive"" showcase the band's ability to balance power, groove, attitude, and memorable songwriting without sacrificing intensity. The album helped bridge the gap between traditional groove metal and the rap-metal movement that would dominate heavy music in the years that followed.Over the past three decades, Pigwalk has earned it's reputation as a cult classic and a cornerstone release for fans of aggressive, forward-thinking metal. It's influence can be heard throughout generations of bands that embraced the fusion of heavy riffs, rhythmic vocals, and crossover energy. Few albums from the era have maintained their relevance and impact as successfully as Pigwalk. This 30th Anniversary Edition from Brutal Planet Records and Limited Run Vinyl marks the first time Pigwalk has ever been pressed on vinyl in the United States. Officially licensed from Century Media Records, the release is pressed on Emerald Green Swirl vinyl and includes a full-size 12"" x 12"" insert. Limited to just 500 copies worldwide, it gives longtime fans and vinyl collectors the opportunity to own a landmark metal release in a premium format worthy of it's legacy. For fans of Rage Against the Machine, Biohazard, Machine Head, and early Limp Bizkit!

The 1989 multi-platinum eelease from The B-52's. This compilation pairs Mudhoney’s Five Dollar Bob’s Mock Cooter Stew with the 4-Track Reprise Demos, capturing the band at their most raw and unfiltered. Fuzzed-out guitars, pounding rhythms, and loose, sneering vocals define both the EP and demos, showcasing their garage-punk roots and chaotic energy. It’s messy, loud, and unapologetic—an honest snapshot of Mudhoney in their earliest, most unrefined form. UPC: 081227803094Label: RhinoRelease Date: 10.30.26Format: Vinyl
Mudhoney’s Live! 1993–1998 captures the band at their loud, chaotic best, delivering raw, high-energy performances that highlight their punk roots. With buzzing guitars, pounding rhythms, and Mark Arm’s snarling vocals, the album embraces imperfections—feedback, crowd noise, and all. More than a polished live record, it’s a gritty snapshot of Mudhoney’s enduring attitude and unfiltered sound. UPC: 081227803100Label: RhinoRelease Date: 10.30.26Format: Vinyl
