Has there ever been a band more underrated than The Beau Brummels? Their body of work stands up to many of their more celebrated peers (country rock, for one, is almost unimaginable without albums like Bradley's Barn and Triangle). Thus, the 1975 reappearance of The Beau Brummels in their original line-up for the first time since their 1965 debut Introducing the Beau Brummels was momentous indeed. The eponymous record that resulted, produced by Ted Templeman and Lenny Waronker, still stands as one of the greatest "reunion" albums in rock history, featuring fine songwriting from Ron Elliott and vocal work by Sal Valentino in a classy update of the Brummels' trademark folk and country-tinged style. However, bassist Ron Meagher left before the album was finished, and the band's subsequent touring failed to connect the record in the marketplace, and so The Beau Brummels has never been accorded the attention it deserved. However, time for a reassessment is nigh. Because this new expanded edition features pristine remastered audio and no less than a baker's dozen unreleased demos, alternates and outtakes from the album sessions recently located in the Warner Bros. #label vaults. Reissue producer Alec Palao has worked closely with the surviving Brummels in shaping this release, and tells the full story of it's evolution with an extensive essay inside the illustrated package. Available on CD and a two-LP orange vinyl pressing!

You can't put Bebe Rexha in a box. From her Grammy-winning songwriting roots on Eminem's "The Monster" to global chart-toppers with David Guetta and Florida Georgia Line, Rexha has established herself as a premier musical chameleon. With her latest project, Dirty Blonde, she officially enters a new era as an independent powerhouse. Now signed to EMPIRE, the Brooklyn-born star has crafted a 13-song "genre kaleidoscope" that serves as her first-ever visual album, representing a total creative rebirth and a departure from the major-label system she's known since she was a teenager.Recorded across London, Tokyo, and Europe, Dirty Blonde captures the energy of Rexha's global travels. The project seamlessly blends heavy-hitting dance floor anthems with deep, personal storytelling. With the lead single "New Religion" she takes us straight to the club by reimagining the iconic dance record "Insomnia" by Faithless. On "Tokyo," she explores a drum & bass pulse inspired by a late-night rendezvous in Japan, while "Cike Cike" (produced by long-time collaborator DJ Snake) sees Rexha embracing her Albanian heritage by mixing traditional linguistic roots with modern 808 basslines. At the emotional core of the album is the lead single, "I Like You Better Than Me." The track strips away the pop-star veneer to tackle themes of insecurity and self-scrutiny, blending raw lyrics with a pop-rock edge. From the Jersey-bounce-meets-country vibes of "Drink and a Little Love" to her vulnerable reflections on fame, Dirty Blonde is a celebration of an artist who is finally playing by her own rules. As Rexha firmly asserts, "The old Bebe is dead," leaving behind a focused, stronger creator who is making the music she truly loves.

Limited vinyl LP pressing. Beck kept fans and critics guessing about how he'd follow up Sea Change and in 2005 released the genre-mashing Guero which shot to #2 on the Billboard Top 200-his highest charting album to date. Beck's eighth album saw him reuniting with the Dust Brothers with an assist from producer Tony Hoffer (Midnite Vultures), for a tour de force of Latin rhythms, rhymes, guitars, beats, samples, 8-bit electronics, turntables and vocoder for a fun and freewheeling ride through rock, hip-hop, boss nova, country-blues and soul. Album opener and lead single, 'E-Pro' went to # 1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Chart, while 'Girl,' 'Hell Yes,' 'Go It Alone' (featuring Jack White on bass) and more became instant fan favorites. The album was a hit with critics as well with New York magazine enthusing, 'Beck integrates his personae into a fairly seamless whole, and his knack for synthesizing disparate musical elements (hip-hop, robot funk, blues, country, jazz, garage rock, etc.) extends beyond samples and individual tracks. The songs migrate smoothly from one to the next; there aren't any throwaway numbers to sabotage the album's momentum; the whole thing coheres,' while Rolling Stone dubbed it 'his liveliest and jumpiest music in years.'Track List

Limited vinyl LP pressing. Originally released 20 years ago on June 18, 1996 on DGC, Odelay was Beck's breakthrough follow-up to his platinum bow, Mellow Gold. Selling more than two million copies in the U.S., the double-platinum-certified Odelay featured classics that loom large in Beck's live sets to this day, including 'Where It's At, ' 'Devils Haircut' and 'The New Pollution.' Odelay won two Grammy Awards in 1997, Best Alternative Music Album and Best Male Rock Vocal Performance for 'Where It's At, ' and was Beck's first album to be nominated for Album of the Year the top honor his most recent album Morning Phase took home last year. Produced by Beck with collaborators the Dust Brothers, Mario Caldato Jr., Brian Paulson, Tom Rothrock and Rob Schnapf, Odelay continued to demonstrate and expand upon Beck's eclectic stylistic palette. It was universally praised upon it's release, named Album of the Year in both Rolling Stone and the prestigious Village Voice Pazz & Jop critics' poll, as well as the U.K. New Musical Express' critics' poll, where the album represented Beck's platinum breakthrough in England. In 1998, Q magazine readers voted Odelay one of the greatest albums of all time, while Rolling Stone ranked it in it's 2003 list of the '500 Greatest Albums of All Time, ' and #9 on it's list of the '100 Best Albums of the 90s.'Track List

Limited double vinyl LP pressing including digital download. Beck's seventh album, Sea Change, signified a dramatic musical shift in sound and tone from it's predecessor, the funky, R&B-influenced Midnite Vultures, and as it's title suggested, was a profound transformation. Inspired by the dissolution of a longtime relationship, Beck transformed his sadness into both his most personal and beautiful record to date, trading his trademark sample-filled songs and impressionistic, irreverent lyrics for pensive melodies, sweeping strings and direct, confessional lyrics. Produced by Nigel Godrich, the album, which peaked at #8 on the Billboard 200, was made with a full band which included guitarist Smokey Hormel, keyboard player Roger Manning, drummer Joey Waronker; Beck's father, David Campbell, provided string arrangements. While widely praised upon release in 2002, the album has only grown in stature. Rolling Stone's David Fricke hailed it as 'the best album Beck has ever made,' adding it's his Blood On The Tracks, and the record was listed in their 2009 definitive list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and the 100 Best Albums of the 2000s. In SPIN's 10-year anniversary piece, they declared it 'the best melancholy album of the millennium' while The Guardian called it 'his masterpiece.'Track List

On her new record, NYC songwriter Beck Zegans explores the strange architecture of emotional defense, through a series of songs that flash between fiery rock, experimental folk and psychedelia. Centering on themes of emotional defense and desire, Engraving Of Armor sings to the invisible shields we build around ourselves, the weight they carry, and those fragile moments when it all starts to unravel. Released via Exploding In Sound Records, Engraving Of Armor is built of nine new songs that move between confrontation and contemplation. An immersive body of work, the songs here are grounded by cyclical, meditative drums, bursts of heavy guitars, and the occasional warm pulse of analogue synths. At it's heart, the album digs into what it means to wear emotional armor, and Zegans seeks the answer to this question through songs that touch upon longing, ambivalence, and avoidance; the complicated exhilaration of falling in love. Of both wanting deeply, and resisting that want at the same time.Musically, the album sits in conversation with a wide range of influences, just as comfortable when leaning into the textural experimentation of Autolux and Sonic Youth, as it when pulling from the intimate songwriting of Nick Drake or the modern urgency of Fontaines D.C. Those inspirations conjure a sound that is emotionally direct, sonically adventurous, and quietly hypnotic.

On her new album, Neon Summer Skin, Bedouine, the project of Azniv Korkejian, explores this feeling of safety long before one can fully understand the concept. Written with vivid, honest and intimate imagery after visiting her family in Saudi Arabia, it tells the story of family and upbringing, and mourns the end of her childhood. There is a singular resonance and newfound heft in this music previously unheard in Bedouine’s discography.Bedouine is known for making gentle, lilting folk songs that build fingerpicked guitar melodies into tsunamis of emotion. Her masterful songwriting and timeless melodies have earned her praise from publications like Pitchfork, who said her music “boasts a surreal calm and lived in glow,” and Rolling Stone, who lauded her “humble folk-pop brilliance,” plus an NPR Tiny Desk Concert, and tours with the likes of Fleet Foxes and Father John Misty. While working on the record, Bedouine realized the pain of displacement, of searching for home, has been a throughline in her family history. Other relatives have also experienced this sense of loss as they’ve migrated between Armenia, Syria, and Saudi Arabia. “I felt so frustrated about the places that I'm from becoming war torn or difficult to return to,” she says. “My family has been split apart time and time again.” This realization prompted her to document and honor her parents’ lives and stories.
