Bad Religion TITLE: Generator Generator is the sixth studio album by the punk rock band Bad Religion. Although the album was completed in the spring of 1991, it was not released until 1992. The reason that the album's release date was pushed back was because Bad Religion was not happy with the artwork and packaging, and in order to release it, they went through ideas that were scrapped.[1] Generator was the band's first release with drummer Bobby Schayer, who replaced Pete Finestone during the Against the Grain tour. - Generator includes some fan favorites and concert staples, such as, "Generator", "No Direction", "Heaven Is Falling", "Atomic Garden", and "The Answer". The album was promoted with Bad Religion's first music video, which was filmed for the song "Atomic Garden".Track List

Vinyl LP pressing. The New American is the eleventh album from Bad Religion, and was originally released in 2000. In a world ruled increasingly by superstition and intolerance, Bad Religion's rousing wall-of-sound punk seems about as necessary now as ever before. It is the impassioned sound of reason, anthems of a bittersweet idealism and a guarded hope set to propulsive guitars and charging drumbeats. And while most groups with even half the artistic output have long ago morphed into stylistic self parody, Bad Religion is currently surging forward with a renewed creative intensity. Their fourteenth album is both a nod to the band's defiant past and an undeniable step forward in the evolution of a genre they helped define.Track List

Over the past four decades the band has continually pushed social boundaries and questioned authority and beliefs armed only with propulsive guitars, charging drumbeats, thoughtful lyrics and an undying will to inspire and provoke anyone who will listen. Originally issued on Epitaph Records in 1998, No Substance was the band's tenth studio effort overall and second release following guitarist Brett Gurewitz's departure from the band (he would rejoin in 2001). Seen as a return to form for the band after the transitional The Gray Race, No Substance offers up tight and heady punk which touches on societal ills and world politics and still remains catchy as hell. Bad Religion's first record for a major label (Atlantic Records) opens with two guns blazing and doesn't stop firing until both sides of "Recipe for Hate" are played out. Battling it out for more than a decade in L.A.'s punk scene with their own label, the big money finally came calling for this 1993 album. Instead of toning down their act due to mainstream support, Bad Company came out with their most inventive and original album in years. Speaking truth to power as all true punks should, lead singer Greg Graffin and his mates continued turning the punk scene on it's ear. Ultimately, this album rose to #14 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. Own this original 1993 release on vinyl today. Atlantic.

Transluscent Tigers Eye LP. From the opening strains of the politico title-track to the countrified pedal steel guitar on "Man With A Mission," from the anti-establishment anthem "American Jesus," to the heart rending ballad "Struck A Nerve," Bad Religion's "Recipe For Hate" is by far their most eclectic album, and one that never ceases to stir up controversy among fans. Graffin, a seething combination of perfect pitch and skeptical emotion, reaffirms his place as one of the best punk rock vocalists on this record. Guest appearances abound, from Eddie Vedder (of Pearl Jam fame) harmonizing on "American Jesus" and "Watch it Die," to Concrete Blonde's Johnette Napolitano's stunning vocals on "Struck A Nerve," to Claw Hammer's John Wahl and Chris Bagarozzi's searing guitar leads on "Kerosene. " As the songwriting team of Graffin/Gurewitz pull back from their more introspective writing that appeared on some of the previous albums, they focus ever more keenly on the events of the day. "Recipe For Hate" is a scathing commentary on the state of the nation, a social criticism addressing alcoholism, abortion and homelessness. Reissued on limited edition Tigers Eye Translucent vinyl to celebrate the album's 30th anniversary!Track List

On their eponymous debut, the Dallas-based BAD STUFF (featuring members of the critically acclaimed True Widow) aims to deliver one of 2026's most engrossing and cinematic slow-burning rock records.
The band's alternative, almost Lynchian take on the genre is palpable from the onset of the album opener, "Sullen": Nicole Estill's bare kick-snare rhythm makes way to contemplative, laid-back guitar and bass twangs from DH Phillips and Laura Hartman, churning into an ebb and flow alongside moody keys and a cool, almost-funereal vocal delivery from Jackie Dunn Smith. What follows feels like a journey across fuzzed-out passages of surreal, dreamy introspection.
Elsewhere on the album, the glossiness of a song title like "Summer Girls" is offset by a creeping, repeating guitar and bass riff that builds and builds as the lyrics explore melancholy:
"Summer girls only cry in their dark rooms
Summer girl keep their faces dry
To remain unseen means to survive
Affection traps, affection dies."
Immediately after, "The Invisible Man" offers a first-hand account of dejection: a loss of love as told by Phillips and vocalist Gabriel Spatz - "an analgesic marriage - born of boredom and fear." In contrast, tracks like Nepenthe simply explode with fuzzed-out bass at the forefront, chugging along heavy, borderline sludgey riffs.
Through these stories and atmosphere, the darkness and mystery steeped in Bad Stuff can feel all-too real.

Sour Soul is the collaborative album from Toronto jazz/hip-hop band BadBadNotGood and Staten Island rap champ Ghostface Killah. Inspired by 1960s and 70s music - taking inspiration from the recording techniques and production of that era, and eschewing sampling in favour of live instrumentation, BBNG with producer Frank Dukes have created a dramatic, cinematic musical staging for Ghostface's vivid storytelling. Sour Soul also features guest spots from MF DOOM, Elzhi (Slum Village / J Dilla), Danny Brown and prodigal new rapper Tree (Project Mayhem).

Badfinger were a Welsh rock band formed in Swansea in 1961. Their best-known lineup consisted of Pete Ham (guitar), Mike Gibbins (drums), Tom Evans (bass), and Joey Molland (guitar). They are recognised for their influence on the 1970s power pop genre. It is estimated that the band sold 14 million records. Initially known as the Iveys, the band renamed themselves Badfinger, after the working title for the Beatles' 1967 song "With a Little Help from My Friends" ("Bad Finger Boogie"). From 1968 to 1973, Badfinger recorded five albums for Apple Records and toured extensively, before they became embroiled in the chaos of Apple's dissolution. Badfinger had four consecutive worldwide hits from 1970 to 1972: "Come and Get It" (written and produced by Paul McCartney, 1970), "No Matter What" (produced by Mal Evans, 1970), "Day After Day" (produced by George Harrison, 1971), and "Baby Blue" (produced by Todd Rundgren, 1972). Their song "Without You" (1970) has been recorded many times, and became a UK and US number-one hit for Harry Nilsson in 1972 and a UK number-one for Mariah Carey in 1994. In 1972, "Without You" saw co-writers Ham and Evans receive the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically from the Songwriters Guild of Great Britain. After Apple Records folded in 1973, Badfinger struggled with a host of legal, managerial, and financial problems mostly due to their fraudulent manager Stan Polley, leading to Ham's suicide in 1975. The surviving members struggled to rebuild their personal and professional lives against a backdrop of lawsuits which tied up the songwriters' royalty payments for years. Their subsequent albums floundered, as Molland and Evans alternated between co-operation and conflict in their attempts to revive and capitalize on the Badfinger legacy. Evans died by suicide in 1983, Gibbins died from a brain aneurysm in 2005, and Molland died from complications of diabetes in 2025. At the time of his death, Molland was the last surviving member of the group's classic lineup. Badfinger wasn't particularly known for rocking hard, but they rocked hard at this concert. Especially near the end, some of the songs are seven, eight, or nine minutes long, with lots of jamming. It's different from their carefully produced album versions. There is quite a bit of stage banter, some nonsensical, but incredible for a 50 year-old recording.
