This album, recorded over an intense three-day window in Berlin, brings together Charif Megarbane and the Jakarta-based band Ali. Their collaboration builds on a long, organic history of musical exchange between Indonesia and the Arab world, blending shared references, improvisation, and years of band experience. Rather than a conceptual fusion project, the record evolved naturally through spontaneity and the musicians' overlapping backgrounds. The title Tirakat reflects this process, a word rooted in both Arabic and Javanese traditions, capturing discipline, journey, and the layering of influences that shaped the album.

Charity brings her second album to you on VINLY with only what can be coined in the title: "Rejoice".
With the runaway success of her debut album "Endless Praise" with songs that have become staples for Churches every week like "Thank you Jesus for the Blood", "I Speak Jesus" "I worship you Almighty God" garnering almost 90m streams alone on Spotify. With over 200m YouTube views achieved and over 250m streams across digital platforms this is the most amazing time to see this new album come to market.
"Rejoice" is a new collection of songs that have been tried in tested in church and in large events alike and by the reaction so far, Charity has not left any of the passion for her Lord and savior behind but has us all reaching out to discover more of our God. The new anthems "Name above All Names" "Seed Of Faith" and "Because of Jesus" all honor and glorify God and encourages the listener to be assured of Jesus' position - before God and before us as His people.
Charity is always out playing the music she has been given, and when she isn't doing that, is serving her church body in Houston as a worship leader and inspirer of the faith.
This album is being supported by many marketing opportunities including heavy campaigns with Multitracks, Worship Leader, Loop community, NRT, Praise Charts, Song Select alongside a comprehensive social media campaign with tie ins to all DSP's and retailers for the music.
Charity is currently wrapping the fall leg of her "Rejoice" Tour, which has completely sold out. With More national and international dates early 2025 to be announced November 2024Track List

Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh called avant garde composer Charles Ives one of his two greatest influences. In 1974, he went with Owsley "Bear" Stanley to record John Kirkpatrick play the Concord Sonata for the centennial celebration of Ives. Fifty years later, Donald Berman, the last student of Kirkpatrick, made a new live recording of the Concord for the 150th anniversary. Together they are a tribute to Charles Ives, to the music of Phil Lesh, and to the enduring influence of Ives on the music of the Grateful Dead. One of the secret weapons in Society Hill Records impressive stable, keyboardist and vocalist Charles ""Clef"" Lundy has lent his unique talents to hundreds of sessions, providing expert backing to the wide range of artists in the Society Hill family and as a main cog in the core unit of the Ingram Brothers band. Although he is most often associated with the Philly Soul genre, Clef also has a deep passion for gospel music. With a long-held reverence for the time-honored standards of gospel music and his heartfelt interpretations of them, Lundy also writes modern gospel music as a balm against the injustices of the modern world. His latest release, a beautiful meditative upright piano instrumental, simply titled ""Yes,"" is an uplifting piece for the soul that is meant to inspire worship and instigate prayer. It's calming tones have great spiritual significance and offer healing and comfort to those who listen with an open heart.

This 1958 3-track recording has Heifetz teamed up with Munch and the Boston Symphony. Cutting the lacquer directly from the original session master tapes has increased the transparency and 3-dimensional imaging on this reissue over original pressings. The performance, as always with the last century's top violinist, is almost without compare. If you have an original copy (white or shaded) you'll be shocked - this reissue has diaphonously beautiful string tone, superior low end dynamics and very deep bass. Collected Works and War of the Martian Ghosts is the definitive recorded collection of living Chicago DIY legend, Dr. Charles Joseph Smith. It also marks the first archival release from Chicago's Sooper Records. All of the music here is being made widely available for the first time ever. This 90-minute collection is compiled from 30 years of Charles' self-released music spanning concert piano, electroacoustic experimentation, electronic beats, free improvisation, and two instrumental realizations of his evolving sci-fi opera, War of the Martian Ghosts (a 2023 electronic realization, and a 2018 piano realization). This double Vinyl / Triple CD Collector's Edition includes an extensive liner note booklet containing 9000 words about the artist's life and work, as well as poetry, interviews, quotes, and 30 archival photographs. Liner notes written by Sooper co-founder Glenn Curran and edited by Sadie Dupuis of Speedy Ortiz.Dr. Charles Joseph Smith's remarkable story begins with a mute child's gift for music, and the purposeful way he nurtured this talent to become both life practice and raison d'être. Charles recounts this artistic journey in his autobiography, The 88 Keys that Opened Doors, a self-published book that chronicles a life in which music was (and still is) the primary key to overcoming immense challenges posed by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).His career as a musician starts in the church, reaches into the international concert piano circuit, and eventually settles to bear strange fruit in Chicago's experimental underground. Along the way, Charles Joseph Smith's compositional voice absorbed and metabolized popular music spanning pop to jazz, the gospel of the church, the canon of the classical conservatory, modern dance scores, and the rule-shattering experimentalism of his city's DIY subculture, where he has been a mainstay for over 30 years. Since the mid-1990s, Charles has been performing, dancing, and selling his self-published musical and written works in person, often at the local shows he frequents. He is known around Chicago as a living symbol of the power of music, and of the beloved spirit of community at the heart of DIY. This is the definitive collection of his original recordings-though it would be impossible to ever encompass the galaxies of music, poetry, and prose penned by the prolific Dr. Charles Joseph Smith.

Charles Wesley Godwin's highly anticipated new album, Christian Name, his fourth album and second with Big Loud Records, is an intensely personal collection of songs. Born out of moments of mourning, redemption, and a tried-and-true reaffirmation of his faith, Christian Name is how Godwin learned to live again. While the record is a highly personal affair – the album's title and cover come from his late grandfather, a Methodist preacher named Charles Godwin – he’s quick to note how critical a role his creative community of friends and musical collaborators played in the album’s conception. Not only does Christian Name include a pair of thrilling feature collaborations – the earworm “Better That Way” with Luke Combs and the remarkable “Hey There, Son” featuring Wyatt Flores – but it’s also the result of Godwin partnering with some of music’s most treasured songwriters: Stephen Wilson Jr. (“Brand New”), Liz Rose (“I Caught the Sunrise”), Lori McKenna (“Hey There, Son”), Aaron Ratiere (“God’s Been Good to Me”), Travis Meadows (“Try Again,” “Every Once in a While”), Scooter Carusoe (“Better That Way,” “Hallelujah High,” “Place I Know”), and Tom Douglas (“Street Advice”). 2-LP set.

With $10 Cowboy, Charley Crockett didn't set out to make a themed record. He had released a concept album in 2022, the critically acclaimed Man From Waco, propelling Crockett to new heights and establishing him as one of the leaders of a sparkling revival of traditional country and folk music. - For the follow up album, Crockett wrote freely, over a two-month period, as he wound his way across the United States on the back of a tour bus. The resulting songs-raw, personal, vivid portraits of a country in transition-ended up being connected after all.Track List
