During the 80s, Golden Earring was heavily influenced by electronic music. Bloody Buccaneers, released in 1991, was much more guitar-driven and the Earring sounded more self-assured than during the recordings of their previous albums. The fans embraced this sound and the album became a huge international success. The song "Going To The Run", about a Hell's Angel who tragically died in an accident, instantly became a Golden Earring classic. It remains a well-loved track among fans and is often regarded as one of the standout songs from the album. Bloody Buccaneers is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on translucent red vinyl and includes an insert. The record comes in a deluxe sleeve with leather laminate finish. LISTEN: https://www. They came from some of the most popular, if not polarizing hardcore bands of the early '90s (SHELTER, 108, RESSURECTION), but by the time Texas Is the Reason formed in 1994, a new aesthetic crystallized almost instantly and reduced it's members' previous efforts to history. Indeed, it was only a year later, when Revelation Records released the band's self- titled EP-their name derived from a lyric in the MISFITS song "Bullet"-that Texas Is the Reason were already headlining their own tours in America and well on their way to defining a new moment in post-punk.In April of 1996, the band reinforced that initial success with their first and only album, produced by JAWBOX's J. Robbins and named after the last words that John Lennon was alleged to have heard: Do You Know Who You Are? In the years since Spin, Alternative Press, and Paste would all go on to call Do You Know Who You Are? an essential '90s album. Unfortunately, after a year of heavy promotion and touring for the record, inner-band tension came to a head, and Texas Is the Reason officially split in 1997. It's members would go on to play in JETS TO BRAZIL, NEW END ORIGINAL, ATLANTIC/PACIFIC and THURSDAY.Since then, the band had only reunited in 2006 for two sold-out shows in New York, again in 2012 for sold out shows in both NY and LA. Now the band is playing shows again with lots more planned. Newer generations of bands like SPITALFIELD, INTO IT. OVER IT., TRANSIT, and STEPHEN BRODSKY (of CAVE IN) have covered Texas Is the Reason songs over the years, and even now- marquee acts like DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL, TAKING BACK SUNDAY, and FALL OUT BOY have all publicly cited their influence.Texas Is the Reason Do You Know Who You Are?: TX30 Special Edition LP is the second of three releases to mark the 30th anniversary of the band and it's landmark album, Do You Know Who You Are?. The original recording, produced by J. Robbins and mastered by Vlado Meller has been cut using the current direct to metal mastering for a clear, loud rendering of the album. The package includes an eight-page booklet with many photos never published before. These TX30 Special Edition pressings will chart the band's three chronological stages across three intentionally-prepared 12-inch records-from their earliest recordings to their debut album to the band's final three songs, written for and originally conceived as the beginning of a second album that was never completed before their 1997 breakup. Each release will include expanded art and booklets featuring never-before-seen photos, flyers, and other means of telling the band's story. The three releases will be joined by specially designed obi strips, devised to create a visually cohesive set.

Since forming a decade ago in 2014, the $uicideboy$ have prolifically shared their distinctive fusion of rap, punk, and trap with audiences worldwide. Starting out as pioneers of the SoundCloud Rap movement, they have gone on to deliver a tremendous amount of music and have achieved over 20 billion all-time streams, placing them in the Top 100 streaming artists of all time. In 2023, they were one of Spotify’s Top Groups of 2023 and one of SoundCloud’s Top 5 Most Streamed Artists.
NEW WORLD DEPRESSION delves deep into a tumultuous psyche, portraying a world riddled with inner demons, existential crises, and a stark defiance of societal norms. Throughout the album, the duo navigates through themes of fame, self-destruction, and the relentless search for identity amidst chaos. Their raw, unfiltered lyrics serve as a gritty narrative of personal turmoil, substance abuse, and the struggle for authenticity in a world that often feels cold and indifferent. This album is an unapologetic exploration of the darker sides of human experience, resonating with anyone who has ever felt out of place or battled with their own shadows.

Vinyl LP pressing. From New Orleans' crime-ridden, neglected, violent 7th Ward section rap duo and cousins $uicideboy$ ($lick + Ruby Da Cherry) started out in 2014, their name referencing a mutual pact: if they didn't make it to 30 they'd end their lives. I Want To Die in New Orleans is inspired by touring experiences and the extravagance that comes with fame. The duo strives to create clever, thought-provoking music that pushes boundaries while remaining true to their mission. Via music sharing platform SoundCloud, the duo rose to popularity for their abrasive, self-produced beats, as well as their harsh lyrical content and themes featuring addiction and suicidal ideation. The duo are considered one of the most popular acts in the underground rap scene, and are also considered to have a cult following.Track List

Long Term Effects Of Suffering - $uicideboy$ - The cousins?Ruby da Cherry and $lick $loth?grew up together, white kids in black neighborhoods on the east and west banks of the New Orleans. Once they joined forces, the result was a dark blend of horrorcore glitch-trap with booming bass, ominous atmospherics, and occultish, drugged-out rhymes. Ten volumes were issued that year, closing with XX: The Infinity Saga. In 2018, they dropped Carrollton and Meet Mr. NICEGUY, a pair of singles that landed on their fall release, I Want to Die in New Orleans. Issued in September 2019, the album landed at number nine on the Billboard 200. Prior to headlining the inaugural Grey Day Tour, the duo released a 6-track EP in May of 2019 with the legendary Travis Barker titled Live Fast, Die Whenever. $uicideboy$ released their newest 12-track project in 2020 titled Stop Staring at the Shadows, garnering over 150 million streams in it's first week. Their newest album is set to be released this July and will feature the duos first music videos in two years which will coincide with the return of Grey Day Tour, which they will be headlining both in North America and Europe. - G59 Records

2009 two CD career-spanning collection of tracks hand-picked by Weird Al himself. Yankovic is a true artistic genius in the classic sense of the word. No other artist can parody a song or a music video without being directly compared to the maestro. Throughout his career, Al has offered up an alternate reality of sorts to the history of pop music, lovingly re-casting hits of all genres into bizarre and hilarious songs and videos that themselves have become hits. Al's work became so synonymous with the hits they parodied that Michael Jackson gave Al access to the 'Bad' video set to make his classic 'Fat' video! This is to say nothing of Al's original songs which are as witty and endearing as his parody work. 40 tracks.

1 Umbrella represents a watershed moment for modern Bay Area hip-hop, effectively serving as the region's "Avengers" assembly designed to consolidate the Northern California sound. For years, the local scene has been bisected by the distinct "mob music" bounce of Oakland and the melodic, trauma-drenched "pain music" of San Francisco; this collective is the first major commercial force to deliberately fuse these competing energies into a single, dominant infrastructure. The roster is a calculated cross-Bay alliance that balances opposing sonic weights: Lil Bean and Lil Yee anchor the group with the emotive, auto-tune-heavy melodies that define the current SF landscape, while Zaybang cuts through that introspection with his signature high-octane aggression.Balancing the scales are ALLBLACK and 22nd Jim, who inject the classic East Bay attitude-ALLBLACK delivering the motivational, sports-heavy "player" lineage of the region, contrasted against Jim's nonchalant, rhythmic flow. Backed by the powerhouse infrastructure of EMPIRE and united under tracks like "Baller Blockin" and the unification anthem "The Blueprint," the group is attempting to solve the fragmentation that has historically plagued the Bay's independent market. By synchronizing their movement with the arrival of Super Bowl LX, 1 Umbrella is positioning itself not merely as a rap group, but as the official cultural ambassadors for the region, betting that a unified front can finally command the national spotlight that often eludes the West Coast's independent giants.

The Bay Area supergroup 1 Umbrella is doubling down on their momentum with 1 Umbrella: Family Edition, a ten-song expansion of their debut album. Bringing together San Francisco's Lil Bean, ZayBang, and Lil Yee with Oakland's ALLBLACK and 22nd Jim, the collective proves they aren't just a side project. The new tracks lean into a breezy, summer-ready sound-perfect for a NorCal BBQ-and feature heavy hitters like G-Eazy, Karri, and ShooterGang Kony.To go along with the drop, the crew released a video for the new posse cut "Tell Me Lies." It's a smooth, guitar-driven track where all five rappers trade bars about the highs and lows of the hustle. The visual follows them through the streets of the Bay, capturing the group's natural chemistry as they hit up local spots and celebrate their rise from regional favorites to a charting powerhouse.Since hitting #24 on the Apple Music Hip-Hop charts, 1 Umbrella has been everywhere, from courtside at Warriors games to a guest spot on Million Dollaz Worth of Game. By bridging the gap between Oakland and San Francisco, they've created a unified sound that's currently running the California rap scene. With this deluxe release arriving just in time for 415 Day, they're making it clear that they're just getting started.2xLP, Picture Disc vinyl housed in a widespine jacket.
