Dawn Again continues his masterful run on Hell Yeah with a third new album in consecutive years. The Aussie "pubwave" architect this time serves up 'Pints Of Ambient Nectar', an eight-track collection of new ambient works alongside remixes of album tracks from 2024's 'Every Dog's Hotel' and 2025's 'Lost In The Front Bar'.Melbourne producer Nick Verwey has spent the last decade quietly refining a sound that's loose, lived-in, and made for real moments rather than peak-time theatrics. With releases on Houseworx, Enjoyment Division and Hell Yeah, his sun-faded, lo-fi grooves drift between breaks, downtempo and hazy house. His 'pubwave' sound is music born from lockdown nostalgia, communal pints and the romance of places where time slows, conversations linger, but the jukebox keeps things moving. The scene is set with bird calls and saw synth awakenings on 'Backyard Paradiso', 'A Day in the Life of Pond Algae' is a quiet ode to hope and revival, while 'Slow Motion Goal Celebration' smudges chords like rays of sun cooled by a breeze. 'Kneverending Knockoffs' teases acid murmurs amongst floating melodic clouds, and new cut ' A Pub With No Beer' has sugary lines piercing sustained ambient drones. 'Hard Earned Thirst' is mellow magic for horizontal afternoons, 'Hair Of The Dawg' shimmers like heat waves on the horizon and 'Vanilla Sky' is a cathartic drift bathed in soft light, unfolding in slow, weightless waves. This sun-dazed ambient sidestep from Dawn Again stretches pubwave nostalgia into hazy, unhurried pieces made for slow afternoons where your woes dissolve and your soul warms. Thirty years deep, Freerange continues to evolve. '30 Years Of Freerange' assembles 30 tracks from 30 artists, released across five EPs in a measured rollout that leads to a lovingly curated box set built for lasting impact beyond the churn of trends and algorithms. With Volume 3, the project draws together key figures from the label's past alongside a new generation reshaping it's future direction, stitching together the signature Freerange energy: soul-rooted electronics, future-facing rhythms, and grooves that pull you in.Atjazz steps up for his debut original production for the label and it feels like the perfect fit. 'Love You Day One' is pure, unmistakable Atjazz - warm chords, fluid basslines, and that rolling, emotionally-charged groove that hits somewhere between the heart and the hips.Next up we have new blood and serious weight. Blue Method channels Swiss precision and Cameroonian rhythm into 'Agora' - a deep, emotive burner with a powerful lift that will ignite South African floors. Hypnotic, elegant, and quietly explosive. With her London roots and Lisbon energy, Megatronic continues her ascent with 'Questions' featuring Belgian Mona Lee's smoky, introspective vocal weaving through textured drums and late-night synth work. Soulful but searching - a track that lingers long after the lights come up.Flipping over we welcome back Andre Lodemann with a track entitled 'For Those Who Care'. Lodemann delivers one of his most reflective pieces to date - stripped emotion, deep atmospheres, and a groove that breathes. Electronic music with genuine soul, for those tuned in.Another lead figure in Freerange's history, Manuel Tur locks into a lean, synth-driven rhythm track that speaks in low frequencies and late hours. 'Key Race Alert' is minimal but loaded and built for heads-down moments - the kind of cut you might catch Ben UFO or Gerd Janson dropping in their sets.Manchester producer James Kumo closes the EP with an expansive, dub-tinged journey entitled 'Jazz Dimensions'. Loose, expressive, and deeply rooted in the lineage of Ron Trent-style house. Improvisational energy meets dancefloor intent. UPC: 823670074115Label: FreerangeRelease Date: 7.10.26Format: 12" Vinyl
Aaron Coyes (Peaking Lights, Leisure Connection, NTS) is back with part 2 of this 3 part series under the Exotic Gardens moniker. This time, the listener finds themselves sauntering into the post-noon hours with a little more grit: Acid synths, distorted phones ringing, some hungover spoken word samples, and even the sounds of a Monchichi if you listen closely enough. But at the heart of it all remains the same backbone that made his 2024 'Morning Dubs' a surprise hit for Pinchy and Friends: infectiously deep, perfectly produced psychedelic dub grooves.Coyes has had a busy year. He released another Exotic Gardens EP on the Emotional Response label, indulging his more distorted, shoe gaze, and post-punk passions (and sounding much different to his work with P&F). He also worked with fellow P&F artist Coyote on the 'Love Letters' EP. (2025- Is It Balaeric?) UPC: 899123053464Label: Pinchy & FriendsRelease Date: 6.26.26Format: Vinyl

For this release, Vibert unearthed and hand picked a collection of previously unreleased jungle and drum & bass gems, sourced straight from his original mid 90s DAT archive. The result is an 11 track ride through the raw energy and playful experimentation that made his early Plug work so distinctive, all infused with Vibert's unmistakable funk and mischievous flair. 'Variety Magic' is vibrant, bold, and delightfully off kilter. A colorful homage to an iconic era, crafted for both deep listeners and the dancefloor. After nearly three years, *Can You Feel It Vol. 5* marks the release of a brand-new installment in Tramp Records' Disco/Boogie series. Like all four previous volumes, Vol. 5 offers a colorful mix of songs from the late 1970s and early 1980s. From extremely rare tracks to easily accessible ones and even unreleased material-this release has everything to make a collector's heart race. Once again, these songs will get you on your feet, inspire you to dance, and transport you back to the glittering world of the late 1970s. CAN YOU FEEL IT? Let's take a closer look at a few of the songs on this album. Kicking things off are Bill Deal & The Rhondels, a band that needs no introduction. The same cannot be said for Tom Balistreri and Ryjel. The latter presents "Heart's On Fire," a seven-minute journey into previously unreleased deep disco. "Old Mother Winter" may not be a typical disco song, but it's undoubtedly a fantastic composition. The Stone Mill Band is relatively unknown even among hardcore collectors. The most recent track on this album is by singer Tory Wynter who already contributed a song for Can You Feel It Vol.4. "Oh Let The Rain Fall Down" was released in 1988. The second record opens with "Been Thinkin' About You" by Avatar-an amazing song and probably the rarest gem on this album, in stark contrast to Piz-Zazz - a record you can find easily for a few dollars. Saxophonist King Perkoff was born in Santa Monica, California, but now resides in Berlin, and with "When You Live In Marin" he delivers a real disco-funk banger! Glenn "Shake & Bake" Doughty played professional football as a wide receiver for the Baltimore Colts from 1972 to 1979. Together with some of his teammates, he founded the Shake & Bake Band in 1975. We probably aren't telling Tramp fans anything new here. Anyway, a little over two years ago, we reissued the first of their two extremely hard to find 45-RPM singles ("Shake & Bake Pt. 1 & 2"). We also included a DJ-friendly edit of the song on "Movements Vol. 12." It is a must for us here at Tramp that we also reissue their second single, "Starflight Disco Pt. 1 & 2," soon! So there you have it, 13 obscure but brilliant MODERN SOUL, DISCO and BOOGIE tunes of which all have not been compiled anywhere else. We sincerely hope you enjoy our guided tour back into the late 1970s and 80s Disco era. UPC: 5050580870963Label: TrampRelease Date: 7.3.26Format: Vinyl

German DJ/producer Butch returns to Rekids with the 'O?cial Bump Call' EP. It marks his ?rst release on the label since 2011's 'Raw Beats' two-tracker, followed by a 2018 appearance remixing Basement Jaxx's 'Good Luck'. This time, Snatch! Records boss Riva Starr joins for a remix fresh o? the back of his 'Shine A Light' EP on Radio Slave's main imprint. 'Bump Call' and 'Foxtrot Uniform' are messages from old-school players to new-school fools. At a time, when everything revolves around health, discipline, and maximizing output - more shows, more structure, more money - this EP is a reminder of where it all came from. From a scene that wasn't optimized, but lived. From DJs who didn't just perform - they partied. Yes, times have changed. Even I'm on that ?tness wave now, living cleaner and more focused. But this record isn't about that. It's a nod to the chaos, the excess, and the raw energy that de?ned an era. A reminder that it wasn't always about performance - sometimes it was just about crossing lines" - Butch. Butch's 'O?cial Bump Call' plays with live, loose, and funky drum breaks that ride a swollen bassline. Toms and congas pepper the groove as steamy vocals inject the soul. It's a dusty, heartfelt House sound that balances vintage samples with his signature production prowess, making for a sure?re summer heater. Riva Starr is an equally in?uential producer who heads up the Snatch! Label and has been turning out essential House sounds for many years. His remix beefs up the drums while keeping the slow-burning vocal heat front and center, creating a devastatingly deep yet driving sound. Foxtrot Uniform' is another tasteful jumble of soul, funk, and gospel motifs with a lived-in house groove that's instinctive and real. Emotions bubble up but never boil over as the tension builds, culminating in an utter dance?oor release when the diva's vocal erupts. It's a masterclass in control and release. Butch has a vast discography spanning labels such as Life And Death, Running Back, Defected, Innervisions, Diynamic, Starr's Snatch!, and many more, while traversing myriad subgenres. He does it all, from intricate minimal with Ricardo Villalobos to Eastern-inspired psychedelia and pounding, prime-time Techno. Founded in 2006, Radio Slave's Rekids expanded with the techno-focused Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and it's latest sub-label, REK'D, in 2024. With Matt Edwards as sole A&R, Rekids continues to champion emerging and established artists alike, remaining a trusted home for house and related sounds, with recent releases from DJ Minx, Echonomist, Tal Fussman, and more. This project pays homage to the funk-disco aesthetic that defined the 70s and 80s crime-thriller genre. Paolo Fedreghini's personal, cinematic journey through the American cityscape: an atmospheric landscape of high-speed chases, corrupt lawmen, and V8-powered escapes. The narrative weaves through gritty criminal underworlds and shady dealings, always balanced by the allure of the disco era. Rather than a mere imitation, the album distills the essential Blaxploitation sound for a modern audience, blending jazz-funk and disco with subtle, sophisticated electronic layers. Burnin' is the Wailers' sixth album, released in October 1973. All three members of the band - Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Wailer (the last time before Tosh and Bunny departed for solo careers and the band became known as Bob Marley & The Wailers) - wrote for, recorded and produced the album in Jamaica. Burnin' promoted the Wailers into international fame, led by the classic hits 'I Shot The Sheriff' (a subsequent U.S. No. 1 for Eric Clapton) and the enduring anthem of people power, adopted by civil rights activists worldwide 'Get Up, Stand Up.'Burnin' was, to some degree, a summary of the Wailers' progress to this point. An album full of revolutionary fire and fervor, it was also the last, heroic distillation of a lineup that had taken the teenaged Wailer, Tosh, and Marley on a journey from the streets of Trenchtown to the brink of global stardom.Although a 'new' act in Britain and America, the Wailers had been singing and recording together since 1963, and could boast a plentiful catalog of songs which were largely unknown outside Jamaica. Several of the tracks on Burnin' were re-recordings of songs that had been released before. 'Put It On,' a gentle, spiritual groove with the more emollient chant of 'Lord I Thank You,' had been released as a single on the Studio One label in Jamaica in 1965, when it was one of the first songs to coin the word 'toasting' to refer to the lyrical style of chanting by the dancehall DJs. Likewise 'Duppy Conqueror' and 'Small Axe' were both new recordings of songs that were old favorites in the Wailers' story. From Burnin' forward it would be Bob Marley who was very much the man in charge.Flawless is the only way to describe these limited edition 180-gram vinyl reissues. During the 80s, Golden Earring was heavily influenced by electronic music. Bloody Buccaneers, released in 1991, was much more guitar-driven and the Earring sounded more self-assured than during the recordings of their previous albums. The fans embraced this sound and the album became a huge international success. The song "Going To The Run", about a Hell's Angel who tragically died in an accident, instantly became a Golden Earring classic. It remains a well-loved track among fans and is often regarded as one of the standout songs from the album. Bloody Buccaneers is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on translucent red vinyl and includes an insert. Shed makes his first appearance on Dekmantel with Rave Echoes - a supple, mesmerizing album of angular techno caught between the heat of peak time and the time-blurred hours after the club. A combination of dreamlike atmospherics and rugged propulsion takes on many forms across the album. It's submerged and restrained on 'Loot 25', speckled with sharply sliced breaks on 'Everybody' and scattered across a sparse, steppy soundscape on 'Rave Predator'. Emotive, swooning strings collide with tough, squashed breakstep drums on 'Double Scoop' and 'Taking You Home' thrusts with urgency and rave romanticism in equal measure. Wielding his signature blend of UK-school soundsystem pressure and Berlin-school techno momentum with poise and purpose, on "Rave Echoes" Shed offers a perfect impression of those wild, indescribable sensory overloads that leave their mark on anyone devoted to the dancefloor. Bill Evans' recordings almost always received good to excellent sound, and the Analogue Productions reissues are no exception.... The 45 rpm reissues are more musical and transparent; instruments have greater three-dimensionality and frequency extremes, especially lower octaves, exhibit greater resolution and impact. Get them before they're sold out!' Myles Astor, Positive-Feedback Online, Issue 34Of everything Analogue Productions has reissued, few titles have sparked the accolades accorded our 45 RPM versions of Bill Evans titles from his Riverside catalog. Now, we're breaking the titles out from that terrific set for individual sale. These are the audiophile jazz fan's definitive releases for your collection! For jazz collectors, At Shelly's Manne-Hole isn't just another Bill Evans record - it's a landmark. This was Evans' final album for Riverside, the label that first brought his genius to light, and his last chapter in one of the most creative partnerships in modern jazz recording.Captured live at drummer Shelly Manne's famous Hollywood club in 1963, the album finds Evans in rare form - intimate, reflective, yet full of quiet fire. It's only the second time Riverside ever caught him in a live setting (the first being the legendary Village Vanguard sessions), and it documents a fleeting but brilliant trio: Evans with bassist Chuck Israels and drummer Larry Bunker. The sound is wonderfully alive - you can feel the room, the energy, the warmth of an audience hanging on every note. For collectors, this is the bridge between Evans' early introspection and the confident, searching tone of his later work.Musicians:Bill Evans, pianoChuck Israels, bassLarry Bunker, drumsIndividual title from The Bill Evans Riverside Recordings Box Set180-gram 45 RPM double LPMastered by Kevin Gray & Steve Hoffman at AcousTech Mastering AAA analog from original master tapes UPC: 753088948718Label: Analogue Prod.Release Date: 5.22.26Format: Vinyl

Rita Satch releases her highly anticipated debut album, "Meet Me in the Garden", a richly textured exploration of love, death and renewal. The album was co-produced by Felix Bloxsom (SIA, Genesis Owusu), Daniel Mougerman (The Bamboos), and Satch herself, and mixed by three-time Grammy-winning engineer Ben Kane (D'Angelo, Emily King). With contributions from some of Naarm/Melbourne's most celebrated musicians, and a stunning 12-piece string orchestra, "Meet Me in the Garden" blends smooth soul with contemporary R&B, orchestral textures, and layers of vocal stacks reminiscent of D'Angelo and Bilal."These songs flowed out of me in response to life's most profound moments," says Satch. "Losing both of my grandmothers during the creation of this album was devastating, but writing 'Warrior Princess' helped me process my grief, and "Meet Me in the Garden" was inspired by my Kabbalah studies, which brought me peace knowing we'll one day reunite in the Garden of Eden. I'm so proud of what we've created and deeply grateful to my incredible collaborators for helping bring my garden to life."The album opens with a breathtaking string prelude composed and arranged by Daniel Mougerman, weaving hints of the album's melodies into a cinematic introduction. "I wanted to write something that would set the mood for the album," Mougerman shares. "I also wanted to weave in little details that listeners might pick up on after hearing the music a few times, so each listen feels like a deeper discovery." This seamlessly transitions into the title track, 'Meet Me in the Garden', a dreamy, mellotron-infused piece layered with Satch's ethereal vocals and lush textures. From there, the album unfolds into a dynamic blend of tight, funk-driven grooves, cinematic orchestral moments, and hypnotic harmonies that define Satch's smooth soul sound. Highlights include the first single 'Breathe', the heartbreakingly beautiful 'Warrior Princess', where Felix Bloxsom's production truly shines, and the upbeat, funk-fueled 'Joyride'. At it's heart, the album channels the timeless elegance of Marvin Gaye, while embracing the innovation of contemporary artists like Nick Hakim and Lianne La Havas. Michigan Band EJ & the Echoes: Rediscovering a Soul Legacy. The story of EJ & the Echoes represents a remarkable chapter in Michigan's music history and the early American soul scene. It's origins date back to the late 1950s, when Everett J. "EJ" Gronda was already active as a young musician. While studying at Central Michigan University in the early 1960s, he met the talented vocalist Manuel "Manny" Holcolm. Together with other musicians, they formed vocal groups that soon performed throughout the state and even recorded near Detroit's legendary Motown studios. In 1963, Gronda founded EJ & the Echoes, a band that quickly gained popularity at dances, clubs, and weddings across Michigan. With Manny Holcolm as lead singer, the group developed a distinctive harmony-driven sound, blending influences ranging from the Beatles to James Brown. The band served as a house band in Traverse City, opened for national acts, and performed regularly at well-known Detroit venues. Between 1964 and 1967, EJ & the Echoes released several singles on the Diamond Jim Records label. Although major commercial success eluded them at the time, their recordings later found international recognition. Today, their songs remain staples of the British Northern Soul scene. After the band dissolved, the members pursued different paths. EJ Gronda became a schoolteacher but remained devoted to music throughout his life. In 2006, the musicians reunited for an emotional jam session. EJ Gronda passed away in 2022, followed by Manuel Holcolm in 2024. Their musical legacy endures-on this vinyl release, dance floors, and in the memory of a remarkable era. Our sincere thanks go to author and blues historian Fred Reif. He wrote the accompanying text and provided all the pictures of the band printed in the gatefold cover. Without him, this project would not have been possible. Roger Sanchez announces his new studio album 'SPECTRUM', marking his first full-length release in two decades. The record is following on from his 2006 LP 'Come With Me'. Six years in the making, 'SPECTRUM' features a wide range of collaborators, including Fedde Le Grand, Karen Harding, Donae'o, Kelli-Leigh, Kele Le Roc, Chico Castillo, Aaron Sevilla & Kristen Knight, Escala, Carnao Beats, Stealth, Leo Wood, and Melanie C. The announcement comes alongside the release of a new single, 'Temptation', a collaboration with Low Steppa and Ragdoll. Speaking about the track, Sanchez said: "Teaming up with my brother Low Steppa was a perfect merger of our New York to London roots. And working with Ragdoll for the first time was a joy... She absolutely kills it on the vocals! This is currently one of my favorite tracks in my box to set off the dancefloor and one of my favorite collaborations." Earlier this year, Sanchez shared 'Come My Way', the only solo production on the album. He noted that recent summers spent working in London played a role in shaping the record's direction. King A makes cover like dirt across the grooves of this big-hole 10inch, taking classic tracks from bands as generationally distant as The Seeds and The Gories, transforming "Pushing To Hard" and "Thunderbird ESQ" into perfectly effortless Jamaican rock steady, fortified with his signature drum machine, and multi-layered loop treatment. And what would a covers record from a French artiste be without paying respect to Mssr. Jacques Dutronc? His 1968 classic "L'augmentation" gets a 21st century rub-down to loosen up the kinks, and emerges revitalized for a daring new scene. The real madness, however, lies at the end of the programme, with an inverted version of "One Step Beyond" knocking the record's concept on it's head, as this 2 TONE classic is stripped of it's syncopated nuttiness, summoned back to it's roots, and emerges born again as pure rhythm'n'beat. And this, fellow punk rudes, is how we're demanding our rock'n'roll be delivered today. COPASETIC AND INTENSIFIED! UPC: 199538753813Label: Slovenly RecordingsRelease Date: 5.8.26Format: 12" Vinyl

Incredible synthwork and analogue drums layered with danceable 2-step breaks and melodies take your mind exactly where you want to be.A2 - TerraformersSeminal synths and birdsong effects prepare us for an impossibly crisp breakbeat and 808 bassline to drive this track along, colored by a myriad of subtle blips and bleeps, delicately flecked across a detailed and optimistic soundscape. Very DJ-friendly from the first to the final bar, the purity of Chronicle's approach to atmospheric drum & bass is once again at it's best here on Spatial.B1 - Boundless SpacePlayful twittering birds, gentle hi-hats and panning synths introduce Boundless Space, a blissful, serene treat for the senses which soon kicks into flourishing life with the timeless Circles break. Vocal samples punctuate the soothing breakdown with exquisitely programmed effects dotted here, there and everywhere, completing a stunning composition that both reflects on the past and looks forward in equal measure.B2 - Ephemeral StyleA light, delicately calming pad-laden intro with echoing melodies opens Ephemeral style, soon punctuated by a sublime 808 bassline preceding the drop. Chronicle showcases his dancefloor breakbeat prowess with an energetic 2-step break pattern, expertly programmed and riddled with detail and density, creating a wonderful collage of sound and a perfect addition to any era-spanning atmospheric set.C1 - Modular ExpansionEerily reminiscent tones harking back to the golden, ultra-classic Good Looking era introduce us to Modular Expansion, a track which quickly adds layer upon layer of original identity to the vibe with crisp breaks, a wonderful metallic backdrop snare and subtle vocal samples. The joyously retrospective breakdown complements the energy of the track beautifully, capping off another gem for the record box.C2 - Limbic SystemChronicle introduces Limbic System with swathes of swirling pads and synths, straddled with a subtle yet enigmatic melody carrying us through the drop, where we are treated to a lusciously constructed old school break pattern with a modern twist. Enter the breakdown and the keen ear will spot sampled quotes from Total Recall, which fit the vibe perfectly. "You went to Recall?" - yes, we sure did. And we enjoyed the trip!D1 - Non-EuclidianContinuing the blissful retrospective atmospheric tone of the album, Chronicle serves up Non-Euclidian which opens with a wonderfully synthy intro flecked with old school break samples and an earworm melody, before the onslaught of layered breaks provides variety as well as a thoroughly danceable pattern to unleash on the discerning dancefloor. Trademark dotted effects punctuate the track throughout.D2 - Deep ThoughtCapping off the LP we have Deep Thought, setting a calming and quietly brooding vibe before impossibly crisp beats kick in and elevate proceedings nicely. Chronicle effortlessly leads the listener through the drop with an analogue punch, earthy basslines and fluttering effects with the kind of flair we've come to love from such a vastly experienced and talented producer - perfectly complementing the vibe here at Spatial.Words by Chris Hayes (Spatial / Red Mist) UPC: 899123053365Label: SpatialRelease Date: 5.29.26Format: Vinyl

Tom Sharkett has been one to watch in the last year via his remix work for DFA, Sub Pop and more, plus his edits that are quietly out there doing damage with those that know. Here he arrives on Test Pressing Recordings with '25'. Hot on the heels of his remix of LCD Soundsystem's 'Home' - 'Easily one of the biggest records of the Summer' (Phonica Records) - here is his first solo EP for the label. 'Painting On Glass' arrives and sets the mood. Heavy synths and breaks. '25' features the vocals of mui zyu and pulls from the likes of New Order but takes them somewhere new. The third track, 'Sleepwalk', sees mui zyu return - a love song that sets a mood then drops into a vocoder loop midway before a fitting finale. 'I'll Call If I Want You' closes the EP with a vocal from Tom himself. It's a perfect closer. This isn't a straight up dance record. It's an artist showing they've got big ideas and a home for them. 'Perfect We Are Not', the latest track from Soulwax, emerges directly from the band's recent Abbey Road After Hours project - a unique collaboration with the iconic London studio that saw Soulwax take over the building for a series of recording sessions and a landmark live event.Working across Abbey Road's historic spaces - from Studio Three, to Studio Two, to Studio One - the band used all three rooms as a continuous creative environment, moving fluidly between them in pursuit of new material. It was within these sessions that 'Perfect We Are Not' was written and recorded with their full live band (including three drummers). The track was cut using the studio's vast array of analog equipment before being pressed direct to vinyl and played as the opening moment of their 2manydjs set inside Studio One.Now released as a standalone single, 'Perfect We Are Not' carries that immediacy forward - a driving, full-bodied track that reflects the band's instinctive, performance-led approach in the studio, and will also be released as a limited edition 12" via DEEWEE. The Reflex has been busy of late and, though already a proven master of multi-track mixes and mash-ups, he keeps on reaching new heights with each new drop. This is one of several coming in quick succession and finds him dropping the final part of his label Discolidays' collaborations with the Zagora catalog, which features tunes by Daniel Vangarde. Here it is The Gibson Brothers' disco belter 'Heaven' that gets beefed up with bright strings and unrelenting drums, driving you to a place of sheer joy. A more obscure sound comes on the flip with uptempo drums and sumptuous musicianship laid down by some of the best of the disco era in Paris. Cerrone's live and DJ sets have often featured these two red-hot edits from The Reflex, who has been a master of the form since day one. Now they get pressed up to this special, limited edition slab and sound as good as ever. 'Hooked On You [The Reflex Revision]' is all languid, funny bass, tropical percussion and deep cut disco-house swagger at a slow, seductive pace. On the flip, he turns his attention to 'Look For Love', a much more lavish disco sound with excitable strings and trilling melodies that all explode out of a fat groove with even fatter bass. Lovely stuff.Tracklisting:A1. Hooked On You (The Reflex Revision) (7:40)B1. Look For Love (The Reflex Revision) (9:56) UPC: 899123053099Label: DiscolidaysRelease Date: 6.5.26Format: 12" Vinyl

Paul Butterfield stands as the lastremaining original member of his namesake collective on Keep onMoving. It's hard to imagine it being any other way. Picking up whereit left off on In My Own Dream, the BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND whollyembraces R&B fervor - and indirectly dares any horn-accompaniedensemble of the era to match it's energy, pulse, tightness, and flair. While going all-in on soul with a crack support cast on this 1969 set,Butterfield would pull the plug on the band just two years later. Thegroup's pursuit of funky, bluesy paths carved by rolling bass lines, stacked horns, buttoned-up rhythms, and harmonica blasts almostmakes that decision unthinkable.Sourced from the original analog master tapes and housed in amini-LP-style gatefold package, Mobile Fidelity's hybrid SACDmakes Keep on Moving available in audiophile quality. Open andbalanced, it underlines the dynamic liveliness and organic feel ofJerry Ragovoy's production. As well as the palpable chemistry ofthe sessions recorded at his then-brand-new Hit Factory studioin New York. Six years on from his La Sape debut, Horatio Luna is back. Recorded across two Melbourne studios between 2022 and 2025, Nick Herrera's in Coburg and Drew Parsons' in South Melbourne, it catalogs experiences in composition and in living. Voicemail messages from these years surface throughout, fragments of a scene mid-pulse.Warmer and more luminous than Horatio's back catalog, 'Action Reaction' trades the darker textures of 'Yes Doctor' for crystalline synths and funk-driven compositions. Horns feature more prominently than ever before and several pieces revisit earlier material, seen in new light - a thread Horatio intends to keep pulling across his career. Phantasy transports back to 1982 for a faithful reissue of the highly sought after 'Fools Are Friendly' from Xclusiv, carefully re-mastered from the original tapes. The alias of sisters Karen and Maxine Berlinski, Xclusiv emerged inconspicuously from the London borough of Croydon with a sophisticated vision of cosmic disco pop, linking the suburbs with Soho's neon-tinted nightlife. Decades later, and in close collaboration with the sisters, this highly sought-after record arrives lovingly reissued by Phantasy in it's original, sensuous form.Originally self-released on Le Maitre Music, a record label spun-off from their family-run fireworks and pyrotechnics company, 'Fools Are Friendly' has the irresistible sense of a radio hit that never was. A brilliant DIY reflection of the disco and soul that dominated the charts of the time, it's glossy, primitive electronics echo the synth experiments of Giorgio Moroder or Didier Marouani, pioneers that were transforming pop music. The extended mix provides an overture to the sisters' twinned vocals, unfolding with delectable disco drama. In contrast, the Instrumental Mix let's the record's blend of elements truly breathe, a synthesized version of Xclusiv's irresistible vocal hook holding court between timeless arpeggios and subtle modulation.Tracklisting:A.
