Joseph Tholl is widely known as a Swedish multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. He gained international recognition as a founding member and guitarist of the speed metal band Enforcer, which he officially left in 2019. After his time with Enforcer, he formed Black Trip (later renamed Vojd) and is currently playing guitar in Tribulation. Following 2019's Devil's Drum, It Might Be Art is his second solo album. It was recorded and mixed at Humbucker Studio, which Tholl co-owns with Robert Pehrsson (also a High Roller Records artist). Tholl handles vocals, guitars, and most of the bass, as well as piano and synthesizer parts. Drum duties are shared by Robert Eriksson (The Hellacopters) and Jakob Ljungberg (Second Sun). In addition, the album features several guest appearances by musicians including Johannes Andersson (Tribulation), Tobias Lindkvist (Tyrann), Pia Stjärnvind (Serpent Omega), Adam Zaars (Tribulation), and Robert Pehrsson (Dundertåget, Robert Pehrsson's Humbucker). This massive 8-CD legacy artbook collects all the Norwegian black metal cult band's classic works from demos to first albums as well as the previously unreleased "1994 Demo". Founded in 1993, Limbonic Art released their debut album "Moon in the Scorpio" in 1996 via Nocturnal Art Productions, the label of EMPEROR guitarist Samoth aka Tomas Thormodsæter Haugen, after the band's early tapes had captured his ear. The band's, at the time, quite unique combination of harsh Nordic black metal with cinematic elements inspired by romantic and classic orchestral music proved extremely influential in the following years. Limbonic Art have always been an elusive creation that rarely appeared live, for example with a stunning performance at the Black Whitsun sub-festival of the doomed millennium year edition of the Wave Gotik Treffen (2000) in Leipzig, Germany. In the new century, Daemon also joined ZYKLON for a while, but in February 2003, Limbonic Art officially broke up. However, Daemon reformed the band in 2006. Lockhart is a new melodic rock/AOR band from Canada, fusing synthesizer-fueled '80s arena rock with classic hard rock. The trio consists of Devon Kerr (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Jason Junop (bass), and Fabio Alessandrini (drums). Jason is best known for his work with Cauldron and Goat Horn. Devon's main band is Axxion, while Fabio plays-or has played-in Bonfire, Enforcer, Annihilator, Hardline, and many others. Lockhart released their debut EP, No Chance, in 2022, followed by the single "City Pulse" in 2025. The band has since signed with High Roller Records, and their first full-length album, City Pulse, is ready to be unleashed upon the public. It's hard to describe Lockhart's specific sound in detail, but City Pulse clearly showcases influences from Journey, Boston, Toto, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, and perhaps even Starcastle.
