Double clear vinyl LP pressing. Front 242's final live chapter, recorded in their hometown at AB Brussels during their farewell tour after more than 40 years of shaping EBM. After more than four decades of (re)defining electronic body music, Front 242 conclude their live journey with "Black Out", the definitive final live recording of their farewell tour - spanning over 40 performances across 6 months in Europe and the USA. Recorded at AB Brussels (Ancienne Belgique) in January 2025, in their Belgian hometown, this album captures the intensity, precision, and raw energy that have defined Front 242's live performances for generations. "It is with a heavy mix of emotion that we close this great adventure, some 40 years in the making. We realize that ending our journey at this time, when we are still vibrant and full of energy is how the band should be remembered. We are excited to share these meaningful final performances with our wonderful fans who have been with us through it all", the band wrote when announcing their final tour. "Black Out" is released as a double-CD digipak featuring 3 exclusive bonus tracks ("MasterHit", "Soul Manager", "No Shuffle"). Marking a historic moment, the album also includes the first official releases of several new tracks the band had introduced live over recent years ("Generator", "Fix It", "Hide & Seek"). For "Black Out", Front 242 members Patrick Codenys, Jean-Luc de Meyer and Richard23 are joined on stage by Tim Kroker on drums, with mixing and production handled in the studio by David Baboulis from the band SOLDOUT. Spanning the full Front 242 repertoire - from early foundational cuts to genre-defining anthems - "Black Out" stands as both a powerful farewell and a final testament to the band's uncompromising vision.

Following the jazzy library vibes of 2023’s collaborative Dolphin LP with Greg Foat and Moses Boyd, the venetian maestro Gigi Masin returns to the ambience for which he is renowned, with Movement—his first solo full-length since 2020’s Calypso, and his Sacred Bones Records debut. Fuelled by creative reinvention and rhythmic motion, he moves seamlessly between melancholy MIDI notes, technoid robotics, groovy liminal cloudscapes, and fathoms-deep ambient aquatics.Since early beginnings in obscurity, his 1986 debut album Wind slowly built an organic following on late night radio, later bolstered when “Clouds” was sampled by artists like Björk, Post Malone, and more. He now counts Oneohtrix Point Never, Devendra Banhart, Caroline Polachek, and the late Kenny Wheeler as fans. The new album Movement reflects on Masin’s place within the pantheon of ambient masters, his ongoing artistic ambitions, and his aspirations for a scene which he’s seen grow exponentially from humble beginnings. The lp is also an ode to literal movement, both in nature, and in human physical expressions to sound. Masin strived to make ambient music for movement, not in the standard dance music sense, but “dynamic music, with a beating heart full of love.” Reconfiguring ambient’s associationwith solitary listening and cold academia, Gigi went outwards, channeling something somatic that connects with the body, not just the mind.“Bed on Mars” sets the titular tone for Masin’s renewed curiosity, with cosmic atmospherics evoking the sensation of waking up on a new planet unafraid, whilst the poignant synthesized trumpet and suspended liminal limbo of “Lost” feels like floating adrift in an unknown sea. Delving further into off-centre beats is the celestial techno funk of “Deception Dance,” which sounds like Sun Electric jamming with Carl Craig and Kraftwerk. The bright beaming light of “Golden” radiates warmth, sounding like the bossa-nova brother of Göttsching’s Balearic classic E2 E4.Despite the passing of his wife after a long illness, and losing his musical archive in a flood, Gigi remains pure-at-heart and positive, pouring his soul into the pursuit of beauty. The latest in a slow-starting but steadily building career, Movement sees Masin continue to secure his seat at the table of true ambient greats.

G70 2: Bones Of Dundasa is the long-delayed second album by Toronto duo Glissandro 70, assembled from recordings made between 2004 and 2015, lost in 2016, and restored nearly a decade later. Rather than a retrospective, the album plays as a fully realized statement, shaped by distance, reassessment, and selective augmentation. Across concise electronic pieces, dub-inflected mutations, rhythm-led constructions, and expanded song forms, Craig Dunsmuir and Sandro Perri explore tension between structure and interference. Contributions from Peter Zummo, Jeremy Strachan, Ryan Driver, and a closing remix by Dan Bodan deepen the record's sense of continuity across time. Released on Constellation in LP, CD, and digital formats.

The Portcullis draws on dungeon-synth textures, medieval ambience, and the imaginative pull of folklore. Taking the listener on a focused journey through shifting eras, symbols, and atmospheres. It plays like a lost fantasy soundtrack, inviting the listener into an adventure that feels both ancient and newly invented.? Released on Fire Records, 'The Portcullis' sees composer Graham Reynolds on an ancestral journey back to Launceston Castle. "For The Portcullis, I took a deep dive into the history of my family's patrilineal side. Starting with my grandfather, an ironworker who built the Hartford Cathedral, to my great great great Grandmother, who was a galley cook on a Welsh sailing ship, to the enlightenment era celebrity portrait painter, Joshua Reynolds, and finally to twelfth century know Richard Reynell (before the Reynolds spelling was standardized). Reynell was the Sheriff of Devon and the custodian of Lauceston Castle. While King Richard I was away on the crusades, Reynell made his name defending the castle from the usurper Prince John. I started making sketches of the scenes and stories I imagined. The Portcullis follows Reynell from castle to castle, sequentially as they were built after the Norman invasion. On Reynell's chest and shield is the symbol and crest of the Reynolds family: The Portcullis."

Lo Recordings are very proud to announce the release of a beautiful collaborative project. A seamless sonic journey that guides us through the filmic landscape of a bygone era. Chiming in the past and resonating in the present. Meg Morley and Haiku Salut combine their talents for the reimagining of a score for the 1930's silent film People on Sunday. Inspired by their live performance and screening of the classic at the Flatpack festival. The release was five years in the making as they set out to capture the compositions in the studio, blending Morley's expressive piano with Haiku Salut's textured electronics. The result has given rise to an album that belies it's historic source with a fresh and clean sound and a complex ever moving series of compositions.

Those albums that never age, that never cease to surprise with their innovative freshness-listen after listen-defying the years that go by.Released in 2016, Heimat's debut album is one of those records you love knowing is there on the shelf or on the turntable, like a reassuring talisman. To mark it's 10th anniversary, and such an awaited repress, we decided to honor this landmark album as it deserves: with a powerful remaster by Tioma Tchoulanov (UVB76, NzeNze) featuring enhanced dynamics, and an ultra-limited edition on blue splatter vinyl. What a beautiful object this is, celebrating-alongside Armelle and Olivier Demeaux-ten years spent exploring the outer limits of music, in France and abroad, from SMAC venues to squats and other joyful initiatives.Their deeply sincere music loses none of it's naive tension; the emphasis is there, yet it remains restrained, contained, almost nervous, without any show of. Here, then, is something to make this fantastic album, a subtle milestone in a teeming musical landscape.A fine achievement indeed!

Vinyl LP pressing. It has been six years since Holy Fuck's last album, 2020's 'Deleter'. In that time, the Canadian quartet-Brian Borcherdt, Graham Walsh, Matt 'Punchy' McQuaid, and Matt Schulz-spent two years apart, only to finally reconvene in a remote village hall in rural Nova Scotia in March 2022. What began as a simple reunion and rehearsal session soon flowed into new song ideas, becoming the starting point for their upcoming album, 'Event Beat At a time when music is increasingly AI-generated, Holy Fuck are more relevant than ever. They've built their reputation on forging electronic music with a profound human touch, keeping every element as live as possible, and favoring ragged energy and improvisation over staid, cold perfection. This is music where intuition and "muscle memory" create an almost telepathic link between the four musicians. The unexpected circumstances of the recording sessions profoundly shaped the album. Faced with a storm that knocked out power (forcing the use of a generator) and a neighbour who objected to the volume, the band was challenged to make their signature sound while being as quiet as possible. This limitation unexpectedly resulted in "low-key ambient things" and "pastoral, vibey soundscapes". However, hitting play on 'Event Beat' reveals they brilliantly circumvented the idea of a purely ambient record. The album also comes in the wake of two major placements that led to an unexpected rediscovery: their track 'Tom Tom' was featured in the Amazon Prime Video hit animated series 'Invincible'. Furthermore, 'Lost Cool' resurfaced in the Academy Award-winning body horror 'The Substance' With the sheer vibrancy of 'Event Beat' and their conviction to keep going regardless of trends, Holy Fuck remain as relevant as ever. This album is a testament to the "togetherness and the humanity in the music".
