Twisted Records is thrilled to announce the release of the long-awaited fourth album by Younger Brother: Mutually Assured Distraction. The first full-length release by the fabled electronica project in a decade features nine sumptuous tracks that each embody the project's intoxicating fusion of profoundly human sonorities and etheric electronic soundscapes. The title is a subversive reframing of the Cold War doctrine "Mutually Assured Destruction," pointing to a world currently frozen not by the geopolitical threat of a Nuclear Winter but by a Digital Summer of mindless overstimulation. Mutually Assured Distraction is a sonic salve for the pervasive numbness induced by an emotionally disconnective artificiality that seeks to pacify with counterfeit happiness; the album offers an antidote to mundane superficiality with nine musical masterpieces that convey the depth of human experience and authentic creative expression. The progression of track titles symbolically represents the arc of this soulful journey through an evocative auditory landscape of moods, harmonies, and textures, progressing from the haunting opening "I Belong to Nowhere" to the penultimate "Home In This World" before arriving at the concluding "Endless Drift."The synthesised musical mastery of renegade musicians Simon Posford and Benji Vaughan is complemented by the contributions of some supremely skilful musicians, with beguiling vocals by MiraBelle Rose and Jay Marsh and the rich cello of Rena Jones. With poignant lyrics that speak to the universal human condition in a world where voices are amplified yet so many feel unheard, Mutually Assured Distraction provides, through it's fusion of electronic and real-world music-making, an example of how technology can pair harmoniously with our humanity - an energetic homecoming as the music draws us away from the unconscious scroll into an open field where we can embody our essential nature. The album stands as both a reflection of our times and a timeless reminder that beneath the noise, a deeper presence continually exists, waiting to be felt, heard, and expressed.Tour dates for July/ August in Denver, San Fran and New York and London in May. Press campaign for US and UK.

Ghostly Green Vinyl. I Didn't Mean to Haunt You is the second full-fledged concept album from Quadeca, and his first completely self-produced album, released in November 2022. It is a watershed moment from an internet-age rise to prominence, towards eclectic, toiled production and panoramic storytelling. While his earlier works hinted at this direction, Haunt You feels like a bold realization of potential. It is a near hour-long commitment to uncompromising songwriting that still manages to feel out of left-field. Ben Lasky seems like an unlikely candidate for music like this, as his near-decade long journey creating pop and rap music and commentary on YouTube garnered nearly two million subscribers, and ensued virality in a space where experimentation is often rejected or dismissed. Despite this, a more pensive and tasteful audience has made Quadeca's musical evolution the forefront of the conversation.

Double vinyl LP pressing. 2026 release. 'Hauntings' is Richard Barbieri's first studio album since 2021's 'Under A Spell' and deepens the pensive, dark instrumental aesthetic of it's predecessor. A diverse collection of immersive sound worlds, both dark and uplifting in equal measure, 'Hauntings' is influenced by a nostalgia for the past and future, and for things that didn't happen yet still manage to haunt the mind and soul. What is real and what is simulation? The album finds Barbieri at the height of his powers, his deft keyboard and sonic architecture conjuring a shadowy, creeping Lovecraftian atmosphere. The music wanders through the streets of a gloomy lamp-lit Victorian London and drifts into grain-speckled snapshots of Belle Époque Paris. These journeys into the past are contrasted with nihilistic but euphoric forays into the future, "Traveler" and "A New Simulation" bristling with the itchy modern anxiety that often runs through his best work. Contrasting the sound designs and electronics of Barbieri, the album features performances from renowned musicians Morgan Agren (drums and percussion), Percy Jones (bass guitar) and Luca Calabrese (trumpet). Manifestations in the Shadow of an Uncertain Land is conceived as an ode tofilm music, political cinema, and electroacoustic composition, filtered throughRobert Aiki Aubrey Lowe's intuition-driven practice. The album unfolds alongintertwined paths: one shaped by lived experiences of anguish - bodies andpsyches submerged within the ongoing presence of imperial power - andanother driven by ecstatic creation, where sound behaves with the temporalelasticity of cinema.Drawing inspiration from Sans S oleil, Punishment Park, and Kafka's In the PenalColony, Lowe approaches voice and modular synthesizer as cinematic agentsrather than fixed instruments. Recorded, mixed, and co-produced with RandallDunn, the album foregrounds spatial detail, dynamic contrast, and texturaldensity, moving between solemnity, terror, and propulsion. Echoes of BernardParmegiani, Penderecki, Ligeti, and Olly Woodrow Wilson Jr. Surface asatmosphere rather than homage, reinforcing sound as a site of memory, control, and resistance. The record embraces rupture as generative space - ameditation on disorientation, power, and the anticipation of new terrain.

Sexistential is the most ecstatic record that Robyn has ever made, the sound of one of contemporary music’s most influential artists coming home. After the club music meditations of 2018’s Honey, the album features nine playful pop songs that tie back to her era-defining Body Talk trilogy, designed to feel “like a spaceship coming through the atmosphere at a really high speed and crash landing”, she says. “That’s how I felt, like I’d had all these experiences searching too far out into space, and now I’m crashing back into myself.” Co-produced with longtime collaborator Klas Åhlund, and featuring Max Martin among the writing credits, Sexistential heralds one of the decade’s most celebrated comebacks. Featuring singles “Dopamine”, “Talk To Me” and “Sexistential”, it’s emphatic and punchy, defiant about emotional and biological pleasure, need and softness. The album’s title started as an in-joke before she realised it said everything she wanted to say. “Exploring my sensual life is the same feeling as when I make a good song,” she explains. “It’s such a beautiful kind of sensitive vibration that takes so much work to keep afloat. I feel like the purpose of my life is to stay horny - it doesn’t even have to be about sex, but it’s feeling sensual and attracted to things that I enjoy, and not letting anything take over that.” The album news follows a run of public appearances - including performing on CNN’s NYE Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen and two sold-out Brooklyn Paramount shows - that have created huge anticipation for new music. Whether performing with David Byrne to celebrate SNL's fiftieth, making show-stopping live appearances with Charli xcx and Gracie Abrams, collaborating with Yung Lean and Charli or soundtracking Acne Studio's 2025 Paris show, Robyn continues her immeasurable impact on popular culture.
