Vinyl LP pressing. Kitty Wells made for an unlikely trailblazing feminist icon, with her gingham dresses and plain, uncomplicated voice. Yet this quiet, unassuming housewife and mother with a passion for country music and one of the longest and most lovingly stable marriages in the business, championed the downtrodden woman through her music, inciting controversy along the way. She proved the male-centred country music establishment wrong by headlining her own shows, and selling millions of records in a career spanning over fifty years. Wells opened the door for female country artists like Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, and Reba McEntire. Parton said of Wells, "Kitty Wells was the first and only Queen of country music, no matter what they call the rest of us". Lynn stated, "If I had never heard of Kitty Wells, I don't think I would have been a singer myself". For McEntire, Wells was quite simply her "hero". This collection showcases Kitty Well's finest decade from 1952-62 featuring her biggest hits including "It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels", "Release Me", "Making Believe", "Repenting", "I Can't Stop Loving You", "Heartbreak USA" and "Unloved, Unwanted". It is a true celebration of Honky Tonk at it's best. UPC: 824046168322Label: AcrobatRelease Date: 5.8.26Format: Vinyl

Limited edition of 2000 numbered copies on orange coloured 180-gram audiophile vinyl. Country icon Kris Kristofferson released his debut album Kristofferson in 1970, marking the belated start of what would turn out to be a long and illustrious recording career. He was a pioneering figure in the outlaw country movement, moving away from the polished Nashville sound and toward a more raw, introspective style. Lyrically, he was very politically aware, further distinguishing himself from other country acts. Many of his early songs were written by Kristofferson while on a side job flying workers to and from oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, which he would then pitch in his time off. Via June Carter he attempted to reach her partner Johnny Cash, who later invited Kristofferson to join him at the 1969 Newport Folk Festival. Following this performance, Fred Foster of Monument Records signed him as a songwriter and recording artist and the rest is history.

On "Another Year Older," Larry Fleet cements his status as country music's premier blue-collar soul-singer, delivering a masterclass in honest, salt-of-the-earth storytelling. Shifting his gaze toward the reflective milestones of adulthood, the White Bluff, Tennessee native trades the restless energy of his earlier work for a grounded, hard-won perspective on what truly lasts. The project seamlessly blends the grit of classic 70s country with the soaring, gospel-infused vocal power that has become his trademark, capturing the quiet dignity of the working class and the profound beauty found in the everyday. From the steady wisdom of the title track to the heartfelt odes to faith and family, Fleet treats the passage of time not as a burden, but as a teacher. It is a record for the dreamers and the doers alike-a soulful, unvarnished progress report from a man who has clocked the miles, felt the weight of the world, and realized that getting older is just another word for getting it right.

LUKE COMBS is one of one -- standing alone as a rare combination of everyman relatability and extraordinary artistry. Grounded, genuine, and effortlessly authentic, he is the kind of artist who feels familiar the moment you hear him, yet whose voice, vision, and achievements are unmistakably singular.
At just 35, Combs has already rewritten the record books: 20 consecutive #1 singles, the first country artist to headline and sell out multiple nights at Wembley Stadium (let alone three consecutive ones), the first country artist to headline both Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, and the first to achieve two songs surpassing a billion streams on Spotify with four singles certified RIAA Diamond. Even amid such milestones, Combs retains a rare talent for making the familiar feel fresh—delivering songs that resonate with surprising clarity and emotional honesty.
The Way I Am, out March 20 on Sony Nashville, is a 22-song collection that showcases everything that makes Combs unmistakable: from his raw, resonant voice and masterful storytelling to songs that balance heartfelt vulnerability with anthemic energy. The album dives deeper than ever into the life behind the spotlight, exploring the push and pull of fatherhood and the challenge of balancing family and career, self-belief, the quiet battles of mental health, and the clarity that comes from remembering what truly matters. The Way I Am captures Luke Combs as a generational talent at the peak of his craft and as a global musical force that comes along once in a lifetime.

North Carolina-bred, Nashville-based indie country artist Nathan Evans Fox writes songs that trace the fault lines between family, faith, labor, and inheritance, poignantly showcased on his forthcoming LP, Heirloom. Raised on four generations of family land at the end of a dead-end road in Glen Alpine, North Carolina, Fox grew up in a community shaped by mill closures, factory layoffs, and the slow erosion of working-class stability. His sound carries blue-collar critique and community-minded hope into places that might otherwise resist them. For him, country music is about owning your twang, working inside traditions, and making sure the hardest conversations happen in a language that feels familiar. Fox lovingly calls it "comrade country." Sonically, Heirloom brims with Appalachian texture and spirit. Banjo threads throughout the record in inventive ways-bowed, muted, and treated percussively-used less as a symbol of tradition than as a storytelling device. Across his work, Fox is building something larger than a catalog of songs. He's creating space for listeners who don't want to choose between their cultural roots and their hopes for a more just world. His music invites people into hard conversations without losing playfulness or warmth: protest hymns that feel like porch songs, liberation theology wrapped in banjo strings, and country music that remembers where it came from while imagining where it could go.

Whether he knows it or not, every man lives by a code. And for country provocateur Paul Cauthen, that code is simple. Always bet on yourself. A singer-songwriter with a well-documented distaste for playing by anyone else’s rules, the East Texas native spent two decades clawing his way through the country underground, embodying the independent spirit with a monolithic Big Velvet vocal. Fusing classic-country grit, gospel power, and a rhinestoned rock edge, four previous albums proclaimed his singular style with a booming baritone and near-biblical swagger. Taught to sing by his grandfather in a Church of Christ, Cauthen hit the scene with the duo Sons of Fathers in 2009, before My Gospel, Room 41, Country Coming Down, and Black on Black unveiled a vulnerable, fire-and-brimstone songwriter with brazen Texas attitude – craving deliverance, yet possessed by a “bird dog†instinct for theatrical rapture. Cauthen has toured the world, collaborating with Margo Price, Orville Peck, Cody Jinks, and Lana Del Rey. And with favorites like “Cocaine Country Dancing,†“Fuck You Money,†and his GOLD-certified collab with Shaboozey on “Last Of My Kind,†he counts 416 million global streams. Cauthen’s fifth album, Book of Paul, takes him further down his path of utterly authentic country music; fearless, proud, and with two middle fingers in the air. Co-writing 12 of 13 tracks, the troubadour confesses to his wild side and wrestles with the sin. He spares no detail – and makes no compromise.

*Born in the ashes of WWII, the only girl of seven children, they called her Pinky. She grew up in the windy plains of the Texas panhandle, singing in the church choir and dreaming of being on the stage one day. Just 18, she met the love of her life and soon married rodeo cowboy Cole Tex. Sharing a common thirst for adventure, they traveled the country roads together. He wrote the songs and Pinky sang them, performing in small roadhouses and honky-tonks all over the southwestern states. These are some of the few recordings that still exist.

Born from childhood memories of Ford F150 rides and his mother's traveling karaoke business, Andrew Sa's debut album, American Rough, represents the culmination of a lifelong obsession with the power of the human voice. After honing his craft in Chicago's independent music scene and the campy, theatrical world of the Cosmic Country Showcase, Sa collaborated with producer H.C. McEntire to bridge the gap between mid-century country-pop and contemporary indie-folk. The record is a sonic tapestry woven with pedal steel, jaunty horns, and Sa's signature "siren-like" croon, drawing inspiration from titans like Patsy Cline and Roy Orbison while being deeply informed by the poetry of Arthur Rimbaud and Ocean Vuong. More than just a genre exercise, American Rough serves as a cinematic exploration of queer intimacy and the complexities of masculinity. Sa courageously subverts the heteronormative traditions of country music, reimagining the genre through the lens of gay desire to create a space where hard bodies find each other in the dark and soften. The album invites listeners into a world of vulnerable characters and "mean handsome" figures. By centering beauty and connection, Sa tethers himself to a long-forgotten lineage of men singing about their hearts, offering a vision of manhood that is as gentle as it is resilient.

Charles Wesley Godwin's highly anticipated new album, Christian Name, his fourth album and second with Big Loud Records, is an intensely personal collection of songs. Born out of moments of mourning, redemption, and a tried-and-true reaffirmation of his faith, Christian Name is how Godwin learned to live again. While the record is a highly personal affair – the album's title and cover come from his late grandfather, a Methodist preacher named Charles Godwin – he’s quick to note how critical a role his creative community of friends and musical collaborators played in the album’s conception. Not only does Christian Name include a pair of thrilling feature collaborations – the earworm “Better That Way” with Luke Combs and the remarkable “Hey There, Son” featuring Wyatt Flores – but it’s also the result of Godwin partnering with some of music’s most treasured songwriters: Stephen Wilson Jr. (“Brand New”), Liz Rose (“I Caught the Sunrise”), Lori McKenna (“Hey There, Son”), Aaron Ratiere (“God’s Been Good to Me”), Travis Meadows (“Try Again,” “Every Once in a While”), Scooter Carusoe (“Better That Way,” “Hallelujah High,” “Place I Know”), and Tom Douglas (“Street Advice”). 2-LP set.

Heartland Rock and Roll is a sound forged by growing up in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma and building a life on the Texas plains. It’s a faded pair of stonewashed jeans, a Sunday ride on a motorbike, and a hat-down-low cowboy song around a campfire. It’s a cup of coffee while you watch the sunrise. It’s a deep breath as you take in the sunset on the great wide open.
It’s a way of living life unaffected by the trends. It’s being ok with standing out when the crowds just trying to fit in. It’s the perfect blend of gratitude and ambition. It’s watching your kids drink from the hose and sitting around talking life with a few good friends. It’s holding the hand of the girl you love and knowing that the grass ain’t greener because it ain’t yours. It pulls influences from all over. From the Eagles and CCR, to Mellencamp and Springsteen. From Stapleton to Chief and Kings of Leon to Turnpike. It’s the common thread of the rattle of a beat up, hand-me-down guitar, the sting of a telecaster, & the pulsing of the drums delivering honest, unfiltered songs about real life. Heartland Rock and Roll is embracing the simple, everyday life, knowing it’s a life worth living. It’s choosing peace of mind because it’s just worth more to you than fame and fortune. It’s rolling the windows down and getting lost in the moment. It’s music for real people living real life. The ups. The downs. And the in-betweens.
