After two years of constant touring and near-unanimous critical acclaim, Godspeed You Black Emperor! Assembled a collection of new recordings that charted the creative evolution of the band as well as it's literal physical movement on the road, criss-crossing North America and Europe. Five expansive full-band compositions are framed by various field recordings, tape manipulations and ensemble pieces in a return to the narrative sonic collage techniques that marked their 1997 debut (F#A#8). Four seamless sides of vinyl unfold a world of aching sadness and beauty, with musical quotes ranging from heartland americana to mitteleuropa folkways, all distilled through the unique sonic filters of Godspeed's pedal-crazy orchestral rock instrumentation. Harrowing guitars, plaintive strings, pulsing basses and explosive drums combine with glockenspiels, horns and tape drones to form an overwhelming palette of sounds, always driven by fierce melodic momentum and intense emotional resonance. GYBE! #continued to paint on an impossibly large canvas, with an uncanny blend of world-weariness and naive exuberance that spoke volumes about the conflicts and contradictions permeating our political and cultural life. The tension between humility and hubris conjured an epic scope and a raw hope that such sweeping gestures might survive with some semblance of substance.Track List

Recorded and Produced by Joe Duplantier at Silver Cord Studio - Gojira's Ridgewood, Queens, headquarters - and mixed by Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine), FORTITUDE is a collection of songs urging humanity to imagine a new world-and then make it happen. The band initially laid the foundation for FORTITUDE last year with the surprise release of the 2020 single "Another World." NPR hailed the track as "an apocalyptic banger," while STEREOGUM declared, "Gojira are one of this century's most important underground metal institutions." Voted by fans as the #1 release on REVOLVER's "5 Most Anticipated Albums of 2021," FORTITUDE continues Gojira's career-long tradition of harnessing their music as a vehicle for environmental activism with songs like "Amazonia" and "The Chant" not only surveying critical cases, but also catalyzing listeners to take action.Track List

After 10 years and a growing fanbase created by DIY touring and album releases, Gojira finally made their breakthrough with their fifth album L'Enfant Sauvage. In November 2014, Gojira relocated to New York City and construction began on their own music studio in Queens. By April 2015, the studio was complete and the band began recording music However, recording of the album was put on hold when Joe Duplantier and Mario Duplantier's mother fell ill and died. Mixing of the album was completed in February 2016.Track List

Originally dubbed Godzilla, after the scaly, green film star with an equally huge reputation as the newfound band's sound, the brothers Duplantier - guitars/vocalist Joe and Drummer Mario - and fellow Frenchman Michel Labadie on bass and Christian Andreu on guitar, quickly released several demos, ultimately changing the band's name and independently releasing the first Gojira album, "Terra Incognita" in 2001, offering up a brief glimpse into the giant Gojira would eventually become through persistent hard work and years of toiling in the metal underground. Now remastered and for the very first time avialable in LP version with 3 exclusive live bonuses, Gojira's "Terra Incognita" album, seen by their fans as the band's ultimate classic, will undoubtly draw major interest worldwide as the band is destroying festivals across Europe!
