These rolls were recorded on a 1910 Steinway 65/88 note player on September 18,1971. Tempos were chosen by Montgomery and Tichenor, and the rolls were pumped by Montgomery. Stereo recording was done by Engineer James O. Taylor, using Electrovoice microphones furnished by Walter Gower. Cover photograph by Dennis Green with assistance and direction from Dick Hill; cover art and design Fred Romary and Paul Burgess.
