Two Telefunken U-47's were arranged in front of the trumpet and trombone sections, respectively. An RCA 44BX on a boom was used to pick up all solos, except amplified guitar. Bass and guitar worked to an Altec 639, while drums and percussion; RCA 77DX; and piano, RCA 44BX. Miss Olay worked behind an isolation screen to a Telefunken U-47.
