While Schwab constructed that 2021 project mainly with friends in his orbit, stemming from his time playing in Drugdealer's band and other peripheral projects, he has broadened the scope tenfold for his full-length debut, New Season. The shapeshifting collective executes on an alluring mix of nostalgic and modern sensibilities, recalling the free-spiritedness of Laurel Canyon and bohemian-era Nashville with a contemporary sheen.
