The Filipino power trio hail from Virginia Beach and for nearly 15 years have been one of the best kept secrets in the Virginia punk scene. The Red Horse Drunk Punks (or is it Red Horse Drugs Pancit these days?) look to hard rock from across the decades and world as ingredients to their drunken stew of rock. They carry the torch of bands like Annihilation Time or Motörhead with the ability to make it burn brighter taking from hometown heroes like The Juan de la Cruz Band and the Twisted Red Cross catalog. With KASKASERÖ the band lands on wax for the first time since 2016's Silinyador EP with their best sound yet. The long awaited full length hits like a sonic punch of unrelenting guitar shredding, tight drums, belting vocals in Tagalog and the expert playing of a Filipino kubing jaw harp on RAK EN RÖL II HIMIG NG KUBING. You won't find a single song that doesn't have you wanting to drive a Jeepney 100mph through the HRBT.
