Description
Celebrating 20 years of Razorlight's era-defining self-titled second album, this expanded anniversary edition features 11 tracks drawn from bonus and unreleased recordings. Originally released in July 2006, the album catapulted the band into the mainstream, debuting at No.1 on the UK Albums Chart and going 5x Platinum, cementing it's place as one of the biggest British guitar albums of the decade. Led by the band's signature anthem America, their first and only UK No.1 single, the album also delivered the UK Top 3 hit In The Morning and Top 20 single Before I Fall To Pieces, alongside fan favourites including Who Needs Love?, Hold On and I Can't Stop This Feeling I've Got. Produced by the band with Chris Thomas and recorded at British Grove Studios in London, the album captured Razorlight at their commercial and cultural peak, bridging sharp post-punk energy with widescreen, festival-ready songwriting. This reissue is enhanced with newly unearthed and unseen imagery plus new track notes from Johnny Borrell, offering fresh insight into the writing, recording and release of the album.
