Pre-Order: Quiet Sun - Mainstream - 51st Anniversary Edition (2 CD) (New (N))

Description

The new 2026 version of the first Quiet Sun album ‘Mainstream’ available in a CD + Blu-Ray deluxe hardcover mediabook package containing a variety of listening options, and in a single vinyl LP gatefold format containing the 2026 new mix.

Quiet Sun was an English progressive rock band formed in the late 60’s at Dulwich College in South London which broke up in 1971. In 1975, during a break in Roxy Music's touring schedule, the original members reunited to record their only album, "Mainstream."
Though short-lived, their experimental approach and technical proficiency later earned them recognition as an influential cult band in the British progressive music scene.

The album, “Mainstream”, also features Brian Eno and Ian MacCormick (aka Ian MacDonald, ex-Assistant Editor, NME, and writer of “Revolution in the Head – The Beatles’ Records & the Sixties”)
