Known for their sun-drenched blend of surf-rock and indie pop, Puerto has built a reputation for capturing the beauty and vibe of Southern California. Their new 7"" release includes two new songs and a music video, capturing the band's evolving perspective on the West Coast sound and lifestyle. The A-side, ""Quit Dreaming,"" pairs a steady, infectious groove with a hook-driven chorus, and the accompanying music video directed by Zach Mack documents a journey through San Diego's neighborhoods via city signs. On the flip side, ""Holding On To The Mundane"" is classic Puerto-a breezy track full of laid-back rhythms and easygoing melodies. As the title says, the song is a reminder to find meaning in everyday life rather than endlessly chasing ideals.
