All the while, she reclaims the aesthetics and messaging of grunge and 90's alt-rock through a modern lens and makes it entirely her own. The result is explosive choruses, crunching intros, and towering bridges where her lived experiences and inner life shine through every note. Her heart is visibly pumping out of her chest while her eyes and tongue bug out, steam rising from her collar in a cacophony of steam-engine whistles. It is three-dimensional alt-rock squished with a giant two-dimensional sledgehammer!
