Spanning works by Maurice Ravel and Guillaume Lekeu, alongside a new composition for string quintet - Racines, Ailes, Brises - the music explores an organic connection to life, nourished by immersion in nature and the resonance of texts by George Sand, Romain Gary and Vinciane Despret. Leterme deploys a particularly precise style of composition, whose deliberate fragility transforms sensitivity itself into a form of resistance.
