The first movement begins as a story ends, with a release of raw emotions, then blossoms into a broad surface of harmonic divergences. The second movement reintroduces a crossover of rhythms, torsions, descents and ascents to reveal a paradoxical space that unfolds in the time of an unresolved pacification. Inspiredly and intricately exposing sounds that are both diaphanous and tortuous, Jules Négrier composes a mysterious music, a music that draws from the torments of electronic matter forms and becomings that gradually gain ground in the regions of simplicity.Maria W HORN « All Solids Melt Into Aether »In All Solids Melt Into Aether, Maria W Horn weaves together chords created using an organ pushed to it's limits with the relentless textures of computer-generated sounds.
