Description
Fuyumi Abe's 2026 single "Void," and "WOOLOU" released in 2025 and known for it's charming sound. These two tranquil, ethereal tracks have been paired together, and the two digital singles are finally being released on 7-inch vinyl! Fuyumi Abe released her first full-length album in 11 years, Super Legend, in 2024, and has continued her energetic career by consistently releasing new songs such as "WOOLOU" "KARAOKE," and "Void,". Side A features "Void," with lyrics entirely in English. Arranged by Kei Kono, this track features a delicate sound centered around acoustic guitar and strings, imbued with a quiet tension and a beautiful, lingering resonance. Side B's "WOOLOU" follows "Some True Love" from her fourth album "Super Legend" created in collaboration with composer Akiko Higashikawa, it's a track notable for it's unique, ethereal quality and warm ensemble. In contrast to the title's charming and mysterious sound, the song's appeal lies in it's deep, multifaceted worldview that conveys the emotions held within. While each track displays a different character, both allow listeners to fully appreciate her one-of-a-kind vocals and delicate musicality? making this a gem of a pairing best savored slowly on vinyl.
