In 2026, Eric brought his latest project to fruition. Entitled Bounce House and inspired by Beastie Boys, Peter Gabriel, ’70s no wave, The Pop Group, and Roxy Music, the album’s bright color scheme serves as a visual reference for a sonically big, bright record. Bounce House is a chaotic, technicolor fever dream. It captures the moment where the world’s pressures, absurdities, and personal transformation collide.
The record follows a loosely mythic version of Eric Slick as he steps out of the controlled synthetic dystopia of New Age Rage and into something far less predictable: a world of warped pop instincts, deadpan humor, and sonic whiplash. It ranges from arena rock to industrial sludge, from roller disco to krautrock. The “bounce house” becomes both setting and metaphor; an inflatable reality where everything is heightened, slightly unstable, and downright euphoric. Songs ricochet between sincerity and satire, groove and collapse, creating a narrative that feels like a simulation without ever losing its humanity.
Produced entirely by Slick in his Nashville studio, this record is the most fully realized vision of his solo project to date. It lands on streaming services and limited-edition vinyl in March 2027.
