Notes:
Chrysalis was distributed in USA by Warner Bros. from 1972-1977, and then from 1977 was distributed by independent distributors (ie: PRT in the Pacific NW) until 1983. In 1983 Chrysalis inked a distribution deal with CBS Inc., and most of the catalog numbers were changed from the previous CHR series to a new catalog numbering scheme with a 5-digit number preceded by a 2-3 letter/digit series (ie: 4V9, FV, etc.). Some provisional pressings, such as this one, featured the original CHR labels and covers with the addition of a sticker that was placed over the spine catalog number and barcode on back to reflect the new CBS Distribution series numbers.
First catalog number is on the labels, second is from the barcode/spine sticker.
The catalog number "CHR 1331" and barcode number of "7559-41331-1" can be partially seen through the overlaying sticker on the rear sleeve.
Sleeve is plain with an embossed figure on front and band photo with track list and credits on rear. The embossing is poorly executed as compared to the original <a href="">UK issue</a>.
The side A stamping is followed by an etched "CB", indicating it was mastered by Chris Bellman.
A similar version, [r1594510, has no sticker over the rear barcode.
