Record with no scratches. few scuffs. playtest well at VG+. Cover VG- with moderate shelfwear, creases,. seam wear, sticker mark, tar at opening. No splits
Notes:
This release has a single pressing ring @ 69mm. It also has "1S" & "S2" etched in the runouts.
Both of these characteristics are indicative of a Columbia pressed record from their Santa Maria pressing plant that was in California.
"Chrysalis" labels are of the "fade-to-blue" that were used from the mid-70's and onward.
All black text, except "Chrysalis" and butterfly logo in white. No rim text at all.
Most noteworthy are the matrices. Side A is mostly etched, while Side B is mostly stamped.
Side A matrix: The runout string has "CHE" crossed out, and STERLING is stamped.
Side B matrix: Only "S2" & "SX" are etched. The "SX" is for the Mastering [i.e. plating for the lacquer.
In this case, plating and pressing was done at the same plant, Santa Maria.
Catalog number "CHR 1324" can be found on the rear cover, spine & labels.
