About Us A Place where young and old can come together and share the love for music as well as a unique and timeless sense of style. Our store inventory is comprised of a little bit of everything. As you walk around in our shop, you may notice that the music is not what you see in the chain stores. Only the best selection of blues, jazz and other roots music can be found here. To go along with the feel of the music, our clothing, accessories, and gifts can all be de described as funky, a bit casual, and above all timeless. A variety of genres and generations converge here! | Company history In the late 1970's my late father Dave Wyatt, aka Pops, opened a music shop. It was a mixed bag of records, carved candles, and airbrushed t-shirts, as well as an assortment of smoking supplies and leather. After closing for about 15 years, he decided to reopen in 1998. As we got the business rolling, together as a pop and daughter shop, the music industry started to take off with the new technology of downloading and mp3 players that we could not compete with. We had to redesign what we were doing by introducing new inventory. As I became more involved, clothes and jewelry, and so much more started showing up on display in our shop. We knew we had to expand in order to survive. Our doors are still open. Below: An old Rolling Paper from the old store...brings ya back! | Customer testimonials People are always saying how unique our shop is. They feel as though they have stepped back in time as they walk through the door. I have had cutomers come through and tell me "I just stopped in to reminisce about my days at Woodstock". There is a relaxed feel in here. People can be who they are here, and enjoy themselves as they browse. |
